   It's a mix here. The food is good, especially the linguine, but the service is always just somewhat off. The front desk will argue with you; the waiter will reach right across your face just an inch away, the food will be put down confidently in front of the wrong people without asking who had what, some dishes will arrive late so that some in the party are waiting while others have their food getting cold...you get the idea. I know it's tough now to be fully staffed, but this is one of the places in town in which you feel it and the total effect impacts the experience here.

   Service and food were lovely. Was a bit windy on the patio, though warm with heaters.

   The burrata is delish, bright an fresh with lemon and parsley. The short rib is dry, though the scarce sauce is tasty. The cauliflower broccoli is al dente. The Starry Night is a good cocktail (like a manhattan). The basque cheesecake is creamy.

   Wonderful food and fun environment. Only downfall was that we were seated at indoor courtyard at table right next to wine bar. It’s clearly an added table but it’s a busy area there with all waitstaff and drinks being made ..maybe not worth having this table here.

   Lovely dinner with my family. The food was great, wine list was deep and well-priced, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. Thank you to the friendly hostess, the sommelier, and our server Avery for making our dinner so special!

   An absolute must if traveling to Carmel. The entire experience is exceptional.

   Nice restaurant, good food, we had the l’escargot, beef cannelloni, and duck. I was hoping for a tarte tatin or something similar for dessert but wasn’t in the menu.

    There were 4 of us - 3 of us got our dinner delivered on time and the food was good . However,they totally forget my wife’s dinner . Thus 3 of us were served and although we tried to eat very slowly, we finished and still no meal was served for my wife . Very very disappointing! Then as a buffer they tried to offer only 1 small glass of cheap prosecco as a pay back . We spent over $650 for e meals and a $250 wine and yet got basically no meaningful “ condolences “ or any type of “ Sorry “ …, Will not be going back !
