I have been to Casablanca many many times in my journeys to New Orleans. It is a quick 20 minute trip from downtown to the restaurant and very close to the airport. If you want to catch a great meal before your flight, skip the airport food and treat yourself here. The ambiance is exceptional, you feel transported to the Middle East. The food is exceptionally tasty. I have also used Casablanca to cater company lunches when visiting my customers in the area and every time they ask -- where did you get this great food. For those who need to combine business with pleasure the restaurant also offers WiFi.
Food is excellent. Service was great. Definitely recommend the babganush.
Service was very poor. Very understaffed. Brought wrong meals. Took a tremendously long time to order and get food. Food was good but not worth the wait.
The dining experience was put, from the ambience, waiter, and the food were all excellent. It was a perfect evening.
Fantastic experience. From beginning to end - one of the best meals I have ever had in Rochester! Staff was wonderful as well. And Chef came to each table to check in and talk a bit about the menu. Still thinking about the great food 24 hours later!!
The service was great, the food very tasty, the only thing my sandwich felt apart I have to eat it with a fork, I think they put to much wet stuff in the button, it should be at the top, but very tasty. We enjoy the lunch.
Great kosher food in a calm setting - great ambiance!
Casablanca is perhaps New Orleans' best kept secret! It is a great restaurant with authentic middle eastrn food, and is totally kosher to boot! What more could anyone ask for?
Very good food.
Lovely ambiance, dairy-free kosher! Appetizer platter generous for group of four; so very filling, took most of my entree home for lunch later in the week. LOVED the Moroccan "cigars"!
Pleasant setting, interesting menu. We started with two different soups, both tasty, but could have used more seasoning. The salads were fresh and delicious. Entrees: lamb was somewhat disappointing, the moussaka also needed seasoning. Overall: solid, not great.
Food was very good, great selection and great service
My rating is for a previous visit. I wish I could tell you how good Casablanca was this time. Unfortunately, Open Table allowed me to book a reservation here on Easter Sunday, and after getting my elderly in-laws into the car and to the restaurant, we discovered as soon as driving up that Casablanca was closed. This left us scrambling to find a table for 5 on one of the busiest dining days of the year. I'm not certain, but I don't believe the restaurant was responsible. I contacted Open Table by email the day this happened, and more than a month later haven't gotten an explanation yet. I haven't made a reservation through Open Table since, because I can't any longer trust the service.
The food was delicious! I had the best couscous that I've had in the U.S. The service was friendly and we enjoyed all the food.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance. Food is authentic and fresh.
