   Booked a reservation at Casa Sensei during a vacation to Fort Lauderdale. Upon entering, the host(ess) was welcoming and helped us immediately. I was feeling a bit carsick during the beginning of our meal and our server, Parker, checked in to make sure I was doing okay and allowed us to take as much time as needed to order. Parker was very helpful when it came to questions about the menu and steered us towards the best options. Definitely would recommended visiting!

   We went to Casa Sensei to celebrate our daughter's graduation with friends and family. The food was amazing, and our server Dominick was outstanding! We had a large round table indoors that overlooked the riverwalk. We enjoyed watching the gondolas passing by. We even got to witness a marriage proposal! It is a great place to celebrate a special life moment.

    Uncharacteristically terrible service tonight at Casa Sensei. We’ve dined here 4 times in the past, and brought my wife’s family for their first visit to one of our favorite restaurants. It was a major disappointment. Our waitress seemed annoyed by our very existence in her section. One of the members of our party’s meal was brought out nearly twenty minutes after the first person’s meal was delivered. Even getting our water refilled seemed like an impossible task for our server. When it came time to pay the bill, our server was nowhere to be found and another employee finally sensed our desire to leave and took our credit card. Hopefully this was just a bad night with a bad server because Casa Sensei is (was) one of our favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. But you only get one chance to make a first impression, and tonight was a failure by the staff at Casa Sensei. At least the food was still fantastic…but I recommend getting your order for take-out next time instead.

    The menu had so many amazing options we wanted to try them all. The items we choose were phenomenal. We had an eclectic mix of Latin and Asian dishes that did not disappoint. We sat outside near the water which added to the experience. Will go back next time we’re in town.

    What a great night out. The food was amazing. To start we got the shrimp tostones, delicious! My boyfriend got the Korean steak medium with Wasabi mashed potatoes and maduros, let me tell you the steak was cooked to perfection. I got the sesame chicken which I don't usually get but it was great. In terms of the service, Mark was phenomenal. He had the best recommendations and was very attentive. We will definitely visit Casa Sensei again and will ask for Mark :)

    Apps were average. My $40 burger was disgusting and the dynamite roll was covered in red pepper flakes and inedible when it showed up 20 minutes after I didn’t eat my burger. Still charged for all of it as I left without eating a meal. Will not be back.

    First time here. The outdoor seating is nice . We sat right by the canal which gave it a nice vibe as my wife and I were on a date night. The service was very good. Our server was efficient and pleasant. Our food and drinks came out quickly. No complaint there. Unfortunately, the food was very sub-par. We ordered hamachi jalapeño and that was inedible. It was fishy, fatty and sliced way too thick. The ginger dressing salad was drenched in dressing and the greens were soggy. My wife ordered a tuna poke bowl which was also not good. We ended up sending all of these dishes back. The manager came over and I told him that we frequent restaurants weekly and NEVER send anything back, but these dishes were just inedible. He didn’t even apologize. He actually had an attitude. I ended up ordering the Mongolian beef which was OK, but this same dish at PF CHANGS is better. Oh and one more thing I didn’t find appropriate for supposedly a finer dining restaurant is that when we ordered out drinks , we were given the option of “upgrading” to top shelf alcohol , as it seems that their drinks are made with crappy alcohol and offer an “upgrade” for more $$$. I have never ever heard of that anywhere. If you sell cocktails, use the best and just charge for it instead of UPSELLING your customers . I found that to be extremely tacky. All in all, we did not enjoy our experience here and will not be going back.

    Our waiter, Frank, was wonderful in his food and drink recommendations. This was our third time dining at Casa Sensei. Everything is always delicious. Sitting outside and watching the Ft Lauderdale gondolas is beautiful. The outdoor fans are a blessing during the hot weather.

    Excellent experience from the time we sat down until we paid the bill. Our server, Sandy, gave good food and drink recommendations, checked on us several times, and seemed to be a veteran in good service, which is rare these days. The octopus was one of the best we’ve had, the shrimp on the tostone’s were cooked to perfection, and the lo mein was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. The ambiance on the water is very pretty. We left very full and happy to return.

    Found this restaurant on tik tok and I'm glad I did. Everything from the decor to seating was on point. The food was everything and then some. The best drink was the Sake it was next level good. Our waitress was beyond sweet. I definitely plan on returning next time I'm in town.

    This was my third time there in 3 months. My main complaint is with reservations and being seated. They literally have five young girls at the front desk and none know what’s going on. One says one thing then another will do the opposite. They need to do this of a favor and have one girl that seats and one girl that runs the front. It is really ridiculous.

    This is usually our favorite restaurant to go to but when we brought our friends here last night, we didn’t have the same experience as we did other times. We normally get greeted with the most delicious popcorn with kimchi sauce and left with cotton candy at the end of our meal. Waiter was both bartender and serving tables, seems like they were short staffed. Food still great but the experience and service not great compared to my previous times. Hopefully that improves…

    First time at Casa Sensei and I have to say this was the best. The speed the food came out was perfect. Never had to wait for the next plate to come out. It was a nice consistent flow. Thank you Mark for giving my husband and I such great service, superb suggestion on the menu and making my birthday night even more special. I know I didn’t mention it was my birthday. I wanted a very chilled, quiet and laid back evening. You gave us that plus more. Only thing for the kitchen, the shrimp on the tostones and guacamole tasted very blend. We had to get sliced jalapeños to help with the flavor.
