   Apps were average. My $40 burger was disgusting and the dynamite roll was covered in red pepper flakes and inedible when it showed up 20 minutes after I didn’t eat my burger. Still charged for all of it as I left without eating a meal. Will not be back.

   First time here. The outdoor seating is nice . We sat right by the canal which gave it a nice vibe as my wife and I were on a date night. The service was very good. Our server was efficient and pleasant. Our food and drinks came out quickly. No complaint there. Unfortunately, the food was very sub-par. We ordered hamachi jalapeño and that was inedible. It was fishy, fatty and sliced way too thick. The ginger dressing salad was drenched in dressing and the greens were soggy. My wife ordered a tuna poke bowl which was also not good. We ended up sending all of these dishes back. The manager came over and I told him that we frequent restaurants weekly and NEVER send anything back, but these dishes were just inedible. He didn’t even apologize. He actually had an attitude. I ended up ordering the Mongolian beef which was OK, but this same dish at PF CHANGS is better. Oh and one more thing I didn’t find appropriate for supposedly a finer dining restaurant is that when we ordered out drinks , we were given the option of “upgrading” to top shelf alcohol , as it seems that their drinks are made with crappy alcohol and offer an “upgrade” for more $$$. I have never ever heard of that anywhere. If you sell cocktails, use the best and just charge for it instead of UPSELLING your customers . I found that to be extremely tacky. All in all, we did not enjoy our experience here and will not be going back.

    Our waiter, Frank, was wonderful in his food and drink recommendations. This was our third time dining at Casa Sensei. Everything is always delicious. Sitting outside and watching the Ft Lauderdale gondolas is beautiful. The outdoor fans are a blessing during the hot weather.

    Excellent experience from the time we sat down until we paid the bill. Our server, Sandy, gave good food and drink recommendations, checked on us several times, and seemed to be a veteran in good service, which is rare these days. The octopus was one of the best we’ve had, the shrimp on the tostone’s were cooked to perfection, and the lo mein was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. The ambiance on the water is very pretty. We left very full and happy to return.

    Found this restaurant on tik tok and I'm glad I did. Everything from the decor to seating was on point. The food was everything and then some. The best drink was the Sake it was next level good. Our waitress was beyond sweet. I definitely plan on returning next time I'm in town.

    This was my third time there in 3 months. My main complaint is with reservations and being seated. They literally have five young girls at the front desk and none know what’s going on. One says one thing then another will do the opposite. They need to do this of a favor and have one girl that seats and one girl that runs the front. It is really ridiculous.

    This is usually our favorite restaurant to go to but when we brought our friends here last night, we didn’t have the same experience as we did other times. We normally get greeted with the most delicious popcorn with kimchi sauce and left with cotton candy at the end of our meal. Waiter was both bartender and serving tables, seems like they were short staffed. Food still great but the experience and service not great compared to my previous times. Hopefully that improves…

    First time at Casa Sensei and I have to say this was the best. The speed the food came out was perfect. Never had to wait for the next plate to come out. It was a nice consistent flow. Thank you Mark for giving my husband and I such great service, superb suggestion on the menu and making my birthday night even more special. I know I didn’t mention it was my birthday. I wanted a very chilled, quiet and laid back evening. You gave us that plus more. Only thing for the kitchen, the shrimp on the tostones and guacamole tasted very blend. We had to get sliced jalapeños to help with the flavor.

    We went for the first time and I was a little apprehensive due to other reviews. I requested an outside table and they confirmed immediately. Although it rained, it was still a great dining experience. Our server Frank was very helpful at making suggestions and very attentive checking often to see if we needed anything. Would definitely return.

    Was expecting a table by the river, but got seated at a table next to the road. Terrible ambiance. We showed up right on time and had to wait 15 mins for the reservation. Meanwhile, others without reservations walked in and somehow got seated right away. Service was fine but felt like they were trying to turnover the table the whole time. Also it’s $20 for parking which seems excessive for a non-premium restaurant.

    Booked a reservation there was no attention to detail the appetizer was horrible over cooked the smallest pieces of shrimp drinks were very small for the price. Service was extremely lacking regarding small things such as straws ,timeliness , told us 30 Min after the fact that the kitchen was closing in 15 min so rushed through that. Just overall a really poor experience had very high hopes but the place has changed a lot and is not the same at all. Especially got the price that you pay on the items totally not worth going.

    The experience was terrible. The waiter (Vincent L) came to our table and threw the coasters like frisbees on the table in our face. He upsold me on some tequila for my margarita which cost 22$ for 250ml and tasted of water. The sushi platter for 2 was 70$ and total garbage. Just some thrown together raw pieces and left over rolls. Everything tasted the same and was tasteless overall. Sat in front of some loud drunkard to make matters worse. When we got the bill which was so over priced for the food and overall experience. I told the waiter the food was bad and his response was “well you ate it”. Pathetic service.

    The night started off next to a large group where I felt I couldn't hear myself think, they were nice enough to move us outside. This once was one of my favorite restaurants, where no matter what I got I was guaranteed to love it, this recent experience felt as thought they fell off as it relates to taste.     This was my second time back at Casa Sensei and I was not disappointed! Daniela took care of us and even helped us move when it started raining. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to try and they were all delicious!

    I loved it!! Our waiter Alejandro was amazing and attentive and was constantly checking to make sure we were good! For my meal, I got the Korean Steak Chimichurri and it was heavenly, some of the best skirt steaks I've ever had, so juicy and perfectly seasoned! We shared the Las Olas Roll and boy was it flavorful! My partner had the Grilled Scottish Salmon, which he also loved. Overall this was a wonderful experience! I wish we got to sit outside by the water but the inside seating wasn't bad. Just something to be aware of though - an automatic 18% tip was added to the bill, but you'll have the option to give an additional tip!

    Have dined here before but this time was much worse, with 3 of us we all got our food 15 minutes apart from one another. The pad Thai was so dry and had to ask our server 4 times for a condiment. ended up also having a 18% service charge on top of the bill which we weren’t notified about nor did it say anywhere. Disappointing.

    Last time I was here was two years ago. Service and food has definitely gone downhill. Always ask the price when something is marked "Market". An appetizer with 3 small pieces of lobster and guacamole was overpriced at $29. Paid $170+tip 3 people, for 2 drinks, appetizer, 3 meals and two desserts. I realized it's Las Olas and prices have gone up everywhere but food and service was not commensurate with the prices. Also garage next door was $20 for 2 hours, it used to be much more reasonable. I would not return, there are lots of other places.
