I’ve dined at Casa Sensi numerous times and typically the experience is always stellar. This dining experience was for a friends birthday and it absolutely had a couple of hits and several misses.

Let’s start with the good:

Casa really knows how to start a meal off on the right foot! The popcorn they bring to the table is DELICIOUS. My companions and I could not stop eating it.

Our server was very nice. The ambiance was beautiful as always. The crab Rangoon is a app I highly recommend. It comes with a sweet chili sauce that has a nice kick! They may have changed their recipe a bit bc typically they are filled with crab. This time they had a lot more cream cheese than usual but still very good.

The chimmichuri steak and sesame chicken were huge hits!

Now onto the areas of improvements:

The shrimp shumai had absolutely no flavor. I couldn’t even tell I was eating shrimp. The timing our food came out also was a problem. We were a group of four. Two entrees came out almost and we had to wait for the other two. It was about 15 minute wait before they brought the third dish and probably about 8 before they brought the fourth and final dish.

I got wagu beef, lobster tail, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was amazing. The lobster tail was okay, had a bit of a char to it but the butter smoothed that out. The problem was the sides. The potatoes and asparagus tasted like gasoline. Totally inedible. I told our waitress and she immediately offered the manager to come over. While that was nice of her it is easily something she could have fixed. She later returned to say the manger would not be coming over but that they would offer a credit. Again while I didn’t want the manager in the first place, I wanted my food to be fixed, it was a bit insulting that the manager didn’t have the time to come over. When I got my bill there was a 10 dollar credit. NOT NEARLY enough when I tell you I am eating gasoline. I really just wanted my sides replaced.

Service was outstanding! Alex was are waiter and took very good care of us and gave great recommendations! Food was excellent and came out on time.

Dinner date with my husband. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. Great service from Daniella and great drink too!

Great place great food great night.

Came here with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at a table after checking in. After getting seated, waited 15-20 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our drink orders and our table was not cleaned. I think we may have caught them between shift changes but after our waiter was assigned to our table he was very attentive. Food and atmosphere were very good, overall service was subpar.

Mediocre service- slow, cold food and long wait for some at same table to receive entree while others ate. Some dishes very good while others disappointing.

Excellent experience on our Anniversary! Service was good and quality of the food is outstanding. Their manager Chris makes you feel comfortable. Overall, outstanding place!

Vacation meal with family; service was great along with the food (ribs, octopus, sushi , bao buns). Very cool outdoor riverside dining experience. Can’t give this restaurant and the employees enough accolades.

Great as always. Salt and Pepper prawns were a bit on the greasy side this time.

We celebrated my husband’s birthday here while we were on vacation and I must say it was amazing! The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the views were breathtaking! It was a perfect night!

The service and food was good but unfortunately the staff was fully cleaning and closing before we received our bill. It’s just very unwelcoming when staff is yelling and running around. Disappointing because this is a beautiful restaurant and it’s not cheap.

Nice riverside setting. Even romantic, if you want.
The quality of the food is average or even mediocre. The service is too (too) slow and, in general, bad.
Server tried to be gracious but ended up pushing us too much so we would order the expensive dishes.
I would not return, although someone that is not too demanding on the quality of food and prioritize the setting should definitely give it a try.

I guess we went back too soon after having an amazing NYE dinner there. The food and drinks were off. My bf ordered a brunch special with truffle fries and when his order was finally delivered (about 15 min AFTER everyone else was eating) the server stated that truffle fries dont come with the special and the restaurant doesnt even have that available. We had to point out it was explicitly stated on the menu. He never returned but our waiter came and advised the fries were being made (arriving after the meal was almost done). Then the drink mix for one of my friends was poorly made. There were no apologies or even a credit for the fry issue. Overall just a bad experience. My bf even ended up being sick a couple hrs later from the food. We’ve decided to take an extended break from this restaurant option.

Come here regularly. I have never had a bad meal. The staff are always eager to please and attentive. Would recommend.

Food was delicious but the service was really bad.

The menu had alot of good choices. The Cafe Sensei fried rice was outstanding. Everything we chose was delicious. I loved sitting outside the weather was perfect.

Food was delicious and our server was very helpful in recommendations from the menu. The outside seating area is beautiful if you enjoy being by the water.

Everything we got was delicious. Sushi was ok compared to the other dishes. The whole group loved the food and ambiance. Definitely a place to go back to.

First time we have been here and we will be back! Sushi was fresh and yummy and the pad Thai was amazing! They bring popcorn when you sit down and a cotton Candy surprise upon paying. Very beautiful setting!

Everything was fantastic! The manager was amazing! He made my 2 little kids night by entertaining them every time he came by! The food was by far the best we had on our week vacation! Definitely worth it!

The waiter was more interested in the large group he was serving, rather than waiting on our table of three. We were seated over 15 minutes before the waiter addressed us at all. The food was fresh, but the service was disappointing. Would not go back

Eclectic menu

Brought some out town guests here for NYE dinner and it was a fab experience! Great food and service. The NYE celebration items the restaurant handed out were cute (beads, crowns, top hats, and more). Lots of fun (socially distanced requirements were met too).

New Years Eve 2020! We were late for our reservation and they were wonderful at accommodating us on the waterfront outdoor seating we had originally requested. The popcorn with kimchi butter was delish, we ordered sushi for one and it was easily made for two... excellent presentation, taste and ambiance! Service was friendly and prompt. The place is gorgeous! Great setting and then to top it off a beautiful blue pillow of cotton Candy for dessert to finish off our dining experience!! We were very impressed and definitely top on the list to return!

Loved the food, loved the atmosphere. It was for a special birthday and they read the notes from our reservation and bro9a birthday candle at the end. Thank you.
