Had a reservation requesting to sit outside, it was a rainy night, we had to sit outside or join the wait. Ok, np. Service outside horrible. Took forever to get drinks for kids let alone from bar. Took forever to light heat lamps. Ordered lobster roll, I don't know where the torched scallops were, and there was an empty tail shell. Most $25 lobster rolls give you meat in tail. Whole snapper a little too salty. Pork dumplings ok, shrimp shumai ok. Kids didn't like expensive chicken fried rice, it was so so. Overall disappointing.
Food and service was amazing. Went with family to celebrate a birthday and everyone really enjoyed their food and selection. Definitely would recommend!
Upon Arrival, we were welcomed. The host kindly asked if we would like to be seated inside or outside? We answered inside. Then she said we only have outside available. It was a rainy cold day. We are already upset with the seating but lost our appetite by receiving a left over noodle in our dirty soy sauce boats. We also received uneven/ dented chopsticks. Our food order was incorrect. Finally No goodbye, no thank you for coming or have a nice evening. The best part was our waitress, smiling and attentive.
Forgive and forget this place and will not be coming back. There are many other similar restaurants better than trying this place.
Had the beef empanadas, they are now in my top 3 of best empanadas. Ordered from the brunch menu. Good food, nice restaurant. Wait staff was great. We will go back for dinner.
Love this place
Valentine’s Day was amazing at this restaurant! Tostones were a great choice as well as the steak!
Good food and drinks, server was very attentive. Food was served in a timely fashion. We sat outside, the view was pretty
Great food and very reasonable pricing for the area.
The food is regular Chinese food. At very high price. Sis not liked it.
This was fun night for a group of 10 women. We were seated outside. Our server was very good. We enjoyed the food (mostly a variety of sushi and rolls). There were a couple of odd things that we encountered. The evening was a celebration for one of the attendees. I called to ask if they could put "Congratulations" on a cake, dessert plate, anything. No, nothing like that. But, they would allow us to bring in a cake. So, that worked. Someone the women wanted mocktails. Well... some of the bartenders don't like to do that. WE thought that was odd. The gals that wanted them, did get their mocktails, but it seemed off to have to ask permission from the bartender. In all, the meal was good and the evening enjoyable. There could just be a bit more customer service.
Outdoor seating added an extra romantic feel to the restaurant. The food was amazing and seated quickly, and our waiter was attentive.
Visiting from CHICAGO and wanted something different. This place was great! Wonderful food and great service!
Thank you for your amazing review! We hope you come down to visit us soon.
Food was average and not what you’d expect at that price point
Great time, deliciously food- just a little tight space. Cotton candy at the
End was a delightful surprise
AMAZING service, DELICIOUS food! We could have stayed here all night!!
We hope to see you again soon and thank you for such a rave review!
Sushi for two was enormous, and fresh and beautiful. The breeze over the river made the dinner so relaxing and wonderful. I love Casa Sensei.
Great delish food full of flavor and more affordable than we expected.
Cool vibe, great drinks, and super service at a reasonable price.
SLOWEST service EVER!!! Food was so-so at best! No popcorn to start? It’s a MONDAY night, you knew we were coming — we had a reservation (via Opentable obv)! You had 4-5 tables, 6 including us. Servers just wanted to chit-chat with each other at the bar! All the delays were blamed on the “kitchen.” Will NOT be back individually or for corporate events (as this was). I should have known when inquiring and leaving messages NO ONE answered or returned calls/emails. PLENTY of other choices on Las Olas!
Fun, different, great service and good value.
Service is slow, one waitress with to many tables . However if you like good food, pleasant atmosphere and do not mind the slow service; then it’s perfect. The tostones with shrimp are a must. The lobster guacamole was amazing, and Korean beef was perfect. There were are a lot of dishes on the menu i wanted to try so I will definitely come back.
Great food! Going to try the gondola dining next time we dine.
Wonderful! We love it there!
Service was horrible. Food was good!
Vanessa and sake sommelier was great, food excellent
Cant wait to go back
Always good. A great place to bring guests from out of town.
Underwhelmed. Very small portions even for small plates. Overpriced. Food was mediocre. Don’t order the fish ceviche.
The octopus was quite good, tum yum soup was way too sweet and sashimi was excellent.
I had a date with my wife and it was amazing. The place is beautiful and very quiet. Service is also great and the food tastes like heaven!
Accessibility was an issue. All the proper signages were there but they were all inaccessible.
To be honest i was expecting a bit more from this place. My boyfriend and I had been curious about this place for a while and I finally decided to bring my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. The food was good, but it was not enough to justify the price. I took a bite of the Tres leches dessert and I could taste that it had been refrigerated for a long time. Definitely did not leave a good impression.
Bad bad awful service!!! We ordered a table outside, got one inside! No starter popcorn, plus the waiter always asked 2 times for what we have ordered!
I was there 2 days before !
Sorry guys, but you just killed our last evening!
Desserts never to be ordered! Disgusting!
Refund to be guven immediately!!!!
Honestly, a really beautiful restaurant with great seating options. Our waitress was clearly over worked with the number of tables assigned, but tried. The food was ok, not vvvv anything that created a memory that will make us feel for another visit. We had spare ribs, pad thai, black pepper prawns, shrimp nuggets, and crispy duck and rice.
Great food and a nice quiet place for conversation
This was our second visit here. While we like the restaurant and the fact that we can sit outside we are not happy about the amount of protein on a plate for the money charged. They would do well to give more protein on the average plate.
We are not in a rush to return to the venue.
Lovely setting and wonderful service. many food choices as well.
Amazing edamame! Best tom yum so far! Keep up the good job!
I love going to casa sensei, sadly this time it wasn’t a good experience, our server was really bad, I spoke to manager at the same time and let him know what happened.
First I asked our server for popcorn, why because that’s an appetizer they have always giving us when we go there, he’s answer was, well we don’t have any right now, we don’t have the sauce that goes on top of it, apparently somebody didn’t do their part of the job( that was his answer) few seconds later I asked another server who was passing by us and she said yes we do have, I will let your server know so he can bring you some. At that point I’m upset because why would he lied about a simple popcorn.
Then we order our drinks, 20 minutes later he comes back to our table and just stood there, we asked him about our drinks and he said “oh right, forgot about it, be right back” that was he’s second mistake, third one and worst one was when we order our main dishes, on of my friends told him I don’t know what to get but I’ll keep a Menu just in case. We got our door then my fiends decided to order a main dish, we call our server and she told him what she wanted, AGAIN..... 20 minutes later he comes and asked her “I’m sorry what was that you order”?? We all looked at him and my friend said “don’t worry about it, I’m not hungry anymore” he just said “oh ok” and walked away.
Honestly this was a really really bad service, I love going to this restaurant, but that server honestly just made me think of going back there again. He literally ruin our evening.
We are so sorry to hear about your recent experience at Casa Sensei. Our restaurant goes to great lengths to provide the highest level of service, so please know we take your comments very seriously. Clearly we did not deliver against that goal on your recent visit and we are sorry about that. We hope to learn from your feedback as we continually look to improve and exceed our customer’s expectations and hope that you will visit us again soon.
Very nice place to have a light business lunch. A little pricey for lunch but not horrible. Would probably come back for business. but not necessarily pleasure.
