Service was outstanding and food was high quality as always!
This was our first time visiting, when you’re out front it’s hard to tell it’s a restaurant because all the commercial buildings and nestled in a small nook is this restaurant. Great find and the owner great guy and very interactive with customers.
Everything was great from service to food and wine! Great ambiance
Wonderful food, service. Outdoor patio reminds you of Italian courtyard.
Super experience, feels like stepping into true Italian experience. Waiters are engaging and enthusiastic, food is unique and delicious, wine selection lovely.
This is a hidden gem. The menu is not a typical Italian menu, the preparations are outstanding. One issue is where to sit. If you sit inside it tends to be quieter but you're inside and near the bar. If you sit on the patio, it is wonderful, but can get noisy as people try to talk over the live music. The music is soft in a sense that it is a guitar, clarinet/flute, but as people talk louder the music gets louder as well and it can be difficult to hold a conversation across a table. But the ambiance of sitting out on the patio can be worth it. The waiters are Italian and attentive without being on top of you. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are no corkage fee nights, so it does get busy those nights. With that in mind make sure to have a reservations since this isn't a large place. The wine menu itself is well balanced and offers good wines at realistic pricing. The restaurant is in the middle of an industrial strip area, so it isn't the easiest to find, but well worth the effort. Note, the "no corkage" fee applies to this restaurant, not the others.
The food is consistently fantastic. The ambiance makes you feel like you could be in Italy. The service...impeccable. Our server, Mattia, was personable, knowledgeable, patient, and charming.
We had an outstanding evening on the patio! It was wonderful to have a great meal, excellent service, as well as live music.
Excellent presentation and quality ingredients all paired with a superb wine selection. Ossobuco and Carbonera were as authentic as it gets.
June 2021 review - Chicken Parm is outstanding and very different than most places - burrata is nice but get the tomatoes with the bruschetta with it so you get more flavor -
This was our second visit to this restaurant. The food is very good but the wait staff is amazingly disorganized. Our waiter never did wait on us. Another very nice man took our drink orders a d the when our waiter never came back we flagged the nice man down who also took our food order. The assigned waiter did drop off the check and unfortunately would have received the tip for never actually waiting on us. Not sure we would go back.
Marco was excellent! He was friendly, attentive and knew the menu very well!
Braised 24 ribs...excellent...way excellent. my 2 friends had Lasagna...neither liked it. I tasted it, it had a?? Perfumy taste...weird. My friend was paying so I dint complain...but if I were alone I would have sent it back. Enjoyed the waiter immensly.
This was our second visit there. We celebrated our son's 18th BD. Everything was excellent. They presented a delicious Tiramisu with a candle to my son at the conclusion of our dinner. Wonderful place for any occasion.
Outstanding service. Wonderful food.
A pleasant surprise with great patio dining tucked in an office complex.
Unbelievable food, service, and ambience. Will come back again
Nice ambiance on the patio, great service and the food was delicious! I had the branzino and my sweetheart had the special rib-eye with mushrooms
We had gone there for our prom dinner, our server was very kind! I didn’t catch his name but he had an Italian accent and long blonde hair. We were even given a free slice of dessert. Thank you so much, we had a great time.
Once again, Grazie!
Absolutely authentic in every way, delicious! Loved it!
Before Covid, we always, always, always enjoyed dining at Casa Nostra. During Covid, when restaurants were finally allowed to offer outdoor seating, Casa Nostra was a favorite "go-to" escape. The outdoor patio is lovely, and throughout 2020, management really enhanced its original comfort and beauty. The very gracious owner and his team are exceptional, they create and offer a safe environment and they never miss a beat on service. The food, of course, always very, very good. The menu has a lot to offer. Some of our favorites are the Fried Calamari, Caesar Salad, Mussels, Lasagna, Pork Osso Bucco. Chef prepares special squid ink with seafood pastas, definitely a treat. The Gorgonzola Spinach Gnocchi is rich and delicious, perhaps best as a shared pasta course for the table. Wine list has a nice variety, all very reasonably priced. The dessert tray, OMG. This is a dedicated and professional restauranteur that offers a truly wonderful dining experience.
Staff was lovely, place was spacious and a beautiful evening outdoors. Food was really delicious. My pasta was a bit too cooked for me and not enough of the add ons (pasta heavy) but the flavors were amazing. I would definitely go back. I’m very picky about my Italian Food!
Always over the top! Favorite restaurant!!
Great service. Mathew our server was awesome. We come here quite often, and the food never disappoints!
All the pastas esp the black & white is divine.
The manager is super nice!
Really nice restaurant in a surprising location. Good food with food company.
Best Italian food in the area. Patio is a wonderful location for a special meal. Great food, service, and ambiance.
The food here is always extraordinary, the service superb, and very nice atmosphere.
Always great service and food here. It's a go-to- place for us.
Fabulous as usual. Food has gotten a bit more expensive but still awesome. One of our favorite restaurants
This is my 3rd visit to Casa Nostra. The welcome is always genuine, the service amazing and the food is so very good. Casa has become my go to Italian restaurant. I've tried 3 different entrees and each was absolutely wonderful. They actually know how to make al dente paste! Flavors are light and delectable - no heavy handed sauces here. Thank you to everyone at Cosa Nostra for making each visit a delight.
Excellent food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a romantic date night outing.
Lovely dinner with my family outside on the patio. Service was great. Only issue is they added a tip without telling us.
Been to Casa Nostra many times, but tonight was exceptionally great!!!
Been here many times before and was excited to return. I ordered the appetizer special - zuchinni flowers, a favorite of mine. Since it was a special, there was no price and the price was not disclosed. There were three on the plate, they were good, but the batter felt too heavy for the delicate flowers. We ordered osso bucco, but what we got was pork shank. It was good, but not as advertised.
When the bill came i was shocked to see a charge of $18 for the zuchinni flowers. I know prices have gone up and I get that restaurants are trying to recover, but that was just outrageous.
I've been going to this outpost since they opened and used to regularly go to the original in DTLA, which sadly closed. I'll give it another try after a time and hopefully it will live up to its past.
This has always been a favorite local Italian restaurant. The outdoor patio is what true outdoor dining should be. The staff is courteous and very efficient and Giovanni is a wonderful host.
As always, we had a delightful evening. Everyone enjoyed their meal, our waiter Marco was terrific, and the setting was lovely.
Everything was fabulous as expected for Casa Nostra. My guest loved the Branzino, and the desserts were fabulous. Can’t wait until our next visit.
