Wonderful Italian food, authentic and well-prepared. We had superb carpaccio with shavings of Parmesan, salmon with homemade gnocchi in a fragrant pesto, and homemade ravioli stuffed with shreds of lamb shank in a truffle glaze. Our waiter Randy was pleasant and knowledgeable.
The olive bread with sun-dried tomato tapenade was a delicious start—the tapenade was gorgeous, with an intense flavor.
Desserts were also made in-house; panna cotta and salame di ciocolatto were both served with fresh, out-of-season berries—strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries—macerated in Prosecco. The chocolate dessert had a scoop of raspberry sorbet so intense it was like tasting summer.
The room was pretty and trimmed for the season: I live in Leesburg, and I will certainly go back!
Not a big fan of a Caesar salad for two that has to be sliced and diced by the customer, but it was tasty. Problem came when my husband's entree was cold. But we told the server and we eventually got a hot entree (new, not reheated) that was good. Probably won't go back but it was worth a try. Service was great.
Wonderful dinner , great service. So nice to have elegant Italian restaurant in Leesburg. Ample seating for downtown Leesburg.
I ordered the cheese ravioli which was superb my husband had the Chicken Marsala and he raved about it. This was our third visit and I’m looking forward to my next visit. We both love this restaurant, the host is very friendly and the waiter Claudio was top notch.
Fantastic food served by attentive wait staff. Convenient parking at the Town Hall garage is a plus. Definitely a keeper. The noise level was a bit of an issue when the live music began... as there is little in the environment to absorb sound.
The chef and his staff are excellent. The seafood was cooked perfectly; the vegetables were fresh; both were spiced just right. This is an Italian restaurant to remember and go often. We will certainly return often.
Excellent food, Great service, Friendly personnel, quiet ambiance, pricey! Would definitely return on special occasions.
Three of us dined on a quiet Sunday evening and deemed it very good. We tried 3 dishes and 2 appetizers, no complaints at all. It was a bit high-priced, but that is (at least a little) due to drinks. Our server was personable and professional.
Did not have a good experience here. The service was exceptionally slow, the food was just okay...and to cap off the night, we found out an hour after we left that the waiter gave us the wrong check and overcharged us by $50 (which they are still working to resolve). We had high hopes for this place...but it didn't deliver. With so many great restaurants in the area, we likely will not return here...
Service is always very attentive. The food is excellent.
My wife and I ate at this restaurant after seeing it online. We were pleasantly surprised, as it is in the historic part of Leesburg, Virginia and the restaurant has wood floors and a very old-style feel. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and healthful, and the prices were very reasonable. It's definitely a "find."
I have been to this place under the old name and now under this newly branded name, and it still does not serve an Aperol Spritz! How can they call themselves an Italian restaurant without serving the #1 italian cocktail???
Disappointed in the food. The menu was great, but the prices for the quality didn’t seem aligned.
The food, as usual, was excellent. The chef at Casa Nostra is top notch. He continually comes up with new and excellent dishes. The service is also very good. We always use this restaurant for date nights.
Casa Nostra, by far , is the best Italian restaurant in Loudoun County. The food is wonderful and our waiter, Randy, was both attentive and helpful. This restaurant is a real find!
To date, closest to authentic cuisine I've tried in Western Loudoun since I moved here from Long Island. Very good.
Everything was wonderful! Food was amazing, service was excellent and the wine choices were also very good.
Casa Nostra was absolutely amazing. Not only did the food blow us away, but we also had a wonderful server named Randy. He made sure we had a great date and was very attentive. He was also knowledgeable about every single dish and did a wonderful job suggesting a dessert for us. Casa Nostra is the perfect place for a romantic date or to take your family out to a nice meal.
The best ravioli and San Marzano sauce... great cocktails and desserts too, homemade pasta and bread. It is fine dining in downtown Leesburg - highly recommend.
If you’re looking for a good Italian restaurant this is the place. I wouldn’t necessarily call it “Authentic” but it’s 100% way better than Olive Garden. When we first walked in, we were greeted by the happy staff. Our waiter was nice and told us what the special was for that day. The only downside was that we only got ONE pre-cut slice of bread, which is a shame. The bread had olives in it and totally wished I could’ve had another slice. Usually most places will leave a loaf of bread on the table, instead of literally placing one slice on your plate. Anyways, I ordered the Salmone con gnocchi al pesto, which was a great! This dish is certainly meant for one person ONLY and good thing because I wasn’t sharing. If I’m ever in the area and craving Italian, I’d swing by.
Great service and good wine list. Waiter was friendly but gave us our privacy to be with our friends
Food was very good Eddie the waiter was great. Ambiance perfect. Noise level could be better. Our first time. Would definite go again.
First visit and we enjoyed it, the food was awesome service was very professional.
Ambiance needs a little work but we will definitely go back
Had been wanting to try Casa Nostra so took advantage of Restaurant Week to do so. Food was excellent, wine list has very good choices and service was attentive. The restaurant downstairs is very dark and the noise level was fairly high . We enjoyed the evening and will certainly come back again.
Disappointing - It was "OK"... the pasta was overcooked and that is a mortal sin in an Italian restaurant.
One of the best Italian dishes I have ever eaten. Fred the waiter told me I would not need a knife to cut my veal, and he was correct!
Randy the manager recognized Laura and me on the reservation list. He came by our table and wished us a happy Anniversary. Offers us desert on him!
The location, service, and the food were excellent! It was my first time, and I highly recommend this restaurant.
Service was very slow and food forgettable.
Food was very good, value for $ also very good. Noise level got too "energetic for our liking- everyone had to lean in to be heard.
The service was very friendly. The food was very nice. I had Salmon with gnocchi in a pesto sauce. We skipper appetizers so we could have dessert.
The portion sizes were nice and we were able to eat out dinner and dessert.
The wine list has some very nice Italian wines and a good range of prices.
We will definitely go back.
This was disappointing. We very much wanted to like the place, but wound up cutting dinner short, throwing out the leftovers, and heading out to “finish dinner” elsewhere. The meatballs were okay, though heavy on the garlic. My wife felt the sauce was off and we both found the pasta to be over cooked and mushy. Sadly, I don’t think we will be returning any time soon.
Very disappointed with the quality of food. Calamari came out soggy, scallops were very gritty and pasta dish was very overpowered with garlic. We are not ones to voice complaints however with a restaurant that was supposed to be of a higher caliber this one fell far short and I was disappointed. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my husband and he was equally disappointed with the meal. We won’t be giving this restaurant another try unfortunately.
Great food, very friendly service both at bar and table, they like what they do and it shows. I had a family dinner there and the staff was terrific.
My husband and I had dinner here for the first time and we were not dissapointed from beginning to the end! Food was bomb! Service fantastic and our waiter Fred did an excellent job! Can't wait to go back!
The restaurant continues to evolve, as does the menu. A very young Chef Carlos continues to hit it out of the park on most days, and does not seem to be afraid of taking some risks with very innovative and risky new menu items. On our most recent visit, we had the opportunity to try out a new gnocchi preparation. We set a very high bar for this dish, and Carlos certainly exceeded our expectations. I tend to try pretty much all new menu additions, and this kitchen gets very high marks for getting the hard dishes exactly right. We are very excited to see where this goes. In any event, Casa Nostra is still the very best bet in this market.
Dinner with friends and we decided to try a place that was new to all of us. What a great surprise to find a truly good restaurant in Leesburg! Everyone enjoyed their meals - including appetizers. My scallop entree was fabulous and a beet salad both pretty and delicious.
I ordered a bottle of Chardonnay that they didn't have and they gave me an upgrade bottle since they didn't have that one, very nice. Nice Italian food, would recommend .
Excellent food and service. Would highly recommend!
Too quiet, although new. Shrimp seemed to taste reheated and is scampi breaded? I found it odd that the server had a weird reaction that we ordered one appetizer and one dessert. The carbonara needed seasoning, tasted too plain, but the bread (which should be offered more of) with the olive spread was so tasty!
Slow service. Good food - but the in-restaurant menu doesn’t match the online menu.
