We went during restaurant week and had a delicious 3 course meal at a good value. We were a party of 3 and were able to hear one another without any issue. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive.
Excellent food and service.
Amazing meal and great service — my only pseudo-complaint is that the food came out within what felt like minutes of ordering, which made me feel a bit rushed.
We had a very nice dining experience here once again.
Took my teenage kids to Casa Nonna before a hockey game. So wonderfully good it made up for the Rangers losing:-)
Fortunately we happen to stop by for dinner during restaurant week and guests and I experienced a three course meal for a reasonable fixed price. My main entree was baked cod with leeks and potatoes, which was simply outstanding. Truly a neighborhood gem in midtown NYC conveniently located near Penn Station.
Super Bowl Sunday dinner was delicious and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Italian Pinot Noir.
The frisée salad was fresh and the dressing very flavorful.
My wife’s Siamese anglotti entree was amazing!
My pappardelle with wild boar bolognese was equally amazing!
The olive oil chocolate cake was sinful!
Warm friendly service - we’ll definitely be back!
Food, service, ambiance was excellent! First time visiting this restaurant with some old coworkers and we had a fabulous time! The salmon dish from the restaurant week menu is delicious! Shout out to Chef Shawn for the wonderful meal, will soon be back!
Great service, great food. We were in NYC for a few days to celebrate my wife's birthday. I casually clicked the OpenTable button for "birthday" when I made the booking, 45 minutes before our reservation time. I simply hoped that maybe they would stick a candle on my wife's desert, if she happened to choose a desert. The staff at Casa Nonna, and in particular our server Maja, went way out of their way to make the evening special for my wife, much more than just a candle; they went above and beyond. And our meal was excellent as well. Thank you Casa Noona and Maja.
I was very happy with my visit to Casa Nonna. Happy Hour at the bar was a nice surprise.
I was seated at a very comfortable table with my guest and the wait service was great.
More importantly the chicken dish I ordered was very good !
What an awesome place! We were celebrating seeing Billy Joel in the Garden and they were playing Billy Joel when we arrived. The food was delicious and the wine excellent. Service was perfect. We will return.
It is a good location for a business lunch as the tables aren't too close together and the noise level is pretty reasonable. The service was prompt, polite and professional. The food - meh, not very good. The calamari was more mushy than chewy and I would say the same about the gnocchi. I have been there for happy hour before and they have decent deals, but other than for HH, I cannot see any reason to return.
Very pleased with our Restaurant Week lunch. And seating was comfortable. Great place to have a conversation with a dear friend.
Great food, wine, service, ambience. Perfect every time.
Really enjoyed the ambiance and food. Service was excellent- very helpful with food choices and attentive. Enjoyed our dinner - the noise level was just right (given that it was reasonably crowded) - subdued but in a good way.
Our food was outstanding, the wine was delicious and the company was even better. We were celebrating my friends birthday and the staff had written her a hand written letter to be presented at dinner. She loved it! Everything was outstanding, it was a little on the pricey side (considering there are so many Italian places to chose from in the area) but we would absolutely come back again!
We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Casa Nonna. Good location and our reserved table was ready when we arrived. The service was very attentive. The seafood and pasta, chicken parmigiana and coal oven pizzas were all delicious. Desserts of cannolis and chocolate velvet cake were tasty. Would recommend to friends and family visiting NYC.
We visited during our annual trip to the NRF Conference at the Javits Center.
The food was delicious but the portions were very small.
The service was adequate but the waiter could have done a better job checking up on us. We had to wait for a 2nd bottle of wine and more bread longer than customary.
Overall, great ambiance and everyone enjoyed it.
Service was a little less attentive than usual. Took a little longer to get entree and desert
Perfect spot for a team or client dinner. Food and service were top notch and provided a memorable dining experience.
Grey service. Good food.
From start to finish, the food & dessert were delicious. The service was excellent.
We went to celebrate my wife birthday, and I guess I must have so noted when I made the reservation. The server delivered her a handmade birthday card and gave us all a complimentary glass of prosecco. Nice touch. As usual, the food and service were great.
Sehr guter Service und sehr gutes Essen. Wirklich zu empfehlen!
The street on which it’s located didn’t seem very nice, but the restaurant is kept very neatly, beautifully decorated on the outside and it’s easy to find. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere is homey and the food was great.
Service excellent (notre serveur etait extraordinaire). Bel endroit. Nourriture bonne mais rapport qualité prix tres élevé. Heureusement que nous avons été bichonnés par le serveur.
Pas d’ambiance pour le nouvel an dômmage.
Enjoyed everything we ordered. Gnocchi. Calamari. Brocolli rabe. Good service. Recommended
AMazing food and atmosphere. Couldn't believe we were in midtown!
Absolutely perfect 10 score. Service, food and ambiance. Had a wonderful dinner with a good friend visiting from Hong Kong.
Such a great and memorable meal
We bring friends here for lunch or dinner; have never been disappointed. Last time I was there it was over the holidays. There were several children at the next table whose parents took no interest in their inappropriate behavior. Other than that, it was a delicious experience.
we had a 5 PM dinner after visiting Santaland at Macy's...we had 2 young children...the children were treated great by the staff....food was good, prices were reasonable...overall it was a very good experience...
Basically a dinner that serves Italian food.
Terrific dinner. Picked a spot within walking distance of our hotel and glad we did. Caesar salad was great, bread delicious and our pasta dishes including gluten free were superb. Look forward to going back even if not near our hotel.
Best part though was watching the manager make a big deal for a birthday dinner for a young teenager including ginger ale in a champagne flute fir the 3 daughters and champagne fir the parents. What a great touch and fun to watch. Kudos for going the extra mile
Excellent as always.
Before Bocelli concert at Madison Square Garden.
Great service and food. Won’t be back in NYC for a while, but will try the sister restaurant in Aruba when we’re there in March.
Holiday lunch for our NY based staff
