If you love Italian Food , don’t miss this place!Excellent place to eat ! Can’t wait to go back!
The service was great here! Server was very nice and accommodating, and we had a great meal between the two parts of our play!
Great large space for group dinners. Homemade pasta is excellent!
Very average Italian food
Surprising find on West 38th Street! Foo.d is delicious, ambiance and lighting comfortable and not too bright, and service was perfect. This is going to be one of my first choices for business lunches and dinners with my husband.
You guys really made my birthday so special! The service was incredible and I had such an amazing time!
We met here after our 25th reunion and had a wonderful meal, got incredible service and really enjoyed ourselves immensely. An incredible staff and manager.
Great service and nice atmosphere. Also nice bar area. Great for good conversation. Food delicious!!! Will definitely be going back!!
Had lunch with some colleagues and it was OK but nothing special
Will definitely be back. It was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, quiet area, excellent food, great service and WiFi. Two thumbs up.
We wanted to have a high end meal in Manhattan during our trip. I decided upon Casa Nonna. We started with the Caesar Salad and the Fillet Mignon. Both dishes were of very high quality and perfectly prepared. Our server was really accommodating and professional. We selected a Montepulciano wine that was nicely matched to the food. We were impressed.
Authentic italian food and wine in elegant surrounds. Friendly and knowledgable waiter provided excellent service. Ambiance was conduicive to dinner conversation. Close to Madisn Gardens - Would return!
Love this place. Every time we are in NYC for an event we try to have dinner here.
Restaurant is very relaxing and comfortable. Food is always delicious. Service is on point and drinks are tasty and refreshing. Alejandro our waiter took great care of us. You are never rushed at Casa Nonna. Drinks order taken. When they arrived he took our appetizer order. You must try the Polpettine (Beef and Pork meatballs), fried calamari and the braised short ribs. They also offer some wonderful pizzas you can have as an appetizer. Just before our appetizers arrived Alejandro took our entree order. The steaks are great and you can't go wrong with any of their pastas. There were some great specials of which we tried the pork chop which melted in your mouth. Of course we had dessert, the ricotta cheesecake, rice pudding and gelati (chocolate hazelnut, pistachio and salted caramel) were the favorites.
Scrumptious food in a sleek setting. Friendly service made our dinner even more enjoyable.
The service was in the best ever category. Our server for September 28, 2018 at approx 5:30pm (sorry, can't remember his name) was the absolute star of the night. The food was exceptional. The price was a bit much, but as we were celebrating my wife's birthday, it was a special occasion and worth it. If I ever make it back to New York, I will have another meal at Casa Nonna. I give it 5 stars!
I love Casa Nonna and usually go for lunch. Food is excellent, staff is kind and the restaurant is clean. But I was so disappointed when I went for dinner. Food was great but took FOREVER. 3 hours for one plate and a pizza, and bc it took so long we ordered three drinks each (@ $15 each for a vodka soda). The bill was $168 for a pizza, garlic bread and a veal platter! I couldn’t believe it. Not worth it and will not return again for dinner.
Great restaurant in NYC for pizza and other menu items.
Found the great little gem. The food and service was amazing
Very clean, spacious environment. Not too loud, not too quiet. Service was excellent, they don't make you feel rushed, and the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good, the portions weren't the biggest but the taste made up for it. Would definitely go back again.
We had a group dinner for 10 and it was great we could be seated in a round and the food was excellent with a fair price. Leo was our server and he was great!
Sadly I didn't have the memorable experience so many other reviewers had. First, no AC, no air circulation or movement. Next, the semi circle leather sofas were so awkward. Moving on to the food, my pork chop was so overcooked tough and dry, it was terrible. The eggplant parm was tasteless. Server took away plates while some were eating and also never checked in on us. Then there was the spotlight in my face for the evening which should have been narrowly beamed towards the table. Last, it's a pricey place, so it's expected that these issues should not exist -- we dropped 100 per person.
Casa Nonna was outstanding across the board. The food was excellent, as was the service. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely return.
Always great service, good, wine, atmosphere. Fun before a Garden event .
Nice atmosphere for lunch or dinner and a great bar are for drinks afterwork.
This was our second visit to Casa Nona and we again were treated beautifully. The service was exceptional and the food superb! We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Rodrigo was our waiter and he was incredible. A wonderful evening.
Our service was impeccable. The manager, Anna, went above and beyond to make sure our visit was perfect!
Amazing food and staff! Made our anniversary very special!
Had a meal with friends before a concert. Good ambiance at bar and quality of food exceeded my expectations. Nice place.
Lovely place for quiet conversation. Service was not great and I found it a bit expensive
Perfect location close to Penn Station to meet friends.
I was going to a venue at Madison Square Garden and their proximity is very convenient. Made a reservation but ate early enough that it wasn’t necessary. Food was delicious and well worth the price.
This was our first time eating at Casa Nonna. We were impressed with the warm, friendly, and knowledgeable service. The four course set menu was delicious and a good value. Everything else we ordered was also very good. The wine list was varied and had plenty of nice wines to choose from. We were impressed by the size of the bar and would recommend it as a good place to go for drinks. Although the restaurant is large, the noise level was low and we were easily able to carry on a conversation. Highly recommend this restaurant.
They always have great food and great service. I went there and didn't wait for too long so my order was ready. I was able to have a nice Business lunch and the environment was nice too.
Food was honestly terrible. Pasta undercooked and tasteless. Extrememly overpriced for what we got. It’s a shame because the ambience is very nice but the food up to standards. I definitely wouldn’t recommend !!
We had a wonderful dinner in a beautiful spot
Couldn’t ask for more
The food was delicious. The atmosphere is great. It’s a nice place to have a quiet meal
My family needed a relatively quiet place that could accommodate our large group of 10 with a mix of children and close to Penn Station. The large space allowed us to be seated in the back of the restaurant and have some privacy and quiet. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed their meals and appetizers. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and will return.
Good quality was good however the tortellini entree was disappointing in terms of quantity.
It was my first visit and other then ordering the cheese and meet appetizer that was not on the menu and wound up being $35 we were very happy with our meal. The place is large and can accommodate a lot of people but it still had a nice atmosphere.
