   Amazing service, the staff seemed seamless ready for the guests that were seated and waiting for their tables. I felt super comfortable seated at the chefs table. We had a nice convo with chef Diego who was super hospitable and knowledgeable about their creations. He even gave us a special treat complimentary for dessert. Would Love to Make this place regular for an imitate date night with my partner. 5 stars times 100. 100 percent would recommend to anyone who is interested in trying a nice cozy Spanish eatery off of Irving st, serving dishes that would make you feel at home yet out for dinner.

   The food was exceptional but we were seated at the bar next to the back door which was constantly being open and closed all night where cold drafts were slapping us in the midst of our meal.

   Second time back, if I have to say one word it would be consistent. Both in food quality and service. No fluck they have a gazzilion Michelin Stars. Raquel was a wonderful host and Chef Jonathan went out of his way. Considering he's the Chef of a Michelin Star restaurant, you have to appreciate his willingness to stop by and say hello to a patron that requested to say thank you in person. Awesome! We'll be back everytime we're in NYC.

   The dishes were excellent really delicious as usual. The sommelier knowledgeable, amiable and cordial. The service/waiter not so much- 15-20 minutes after we sat at our table we were told that they needed the table by 7:30. We finished our dinner around 7:15. Around 7:40 after ignoring us walking by us about 5 times and not offering a dessert menu the waiter came back with the bill and walked away without a word about dessert. When he came back for the bill 15min later I asked for the dessert menu and he emphatically said to us “I told you we needed the table by 7:30 it is 7:41 now (it wasn’t it was later) and I can’t offer you dessert only a chocolate mousse - we need the table now” . The people at the table next to us all looked at us — heard what was going on. I declined the dessert they offered, but they brought it anyways. We put our cards and the waiter did not pick up the bill someone else did. In all the time they took to bring the bill - ask us to leave - pick up the bill - they could’ve offer the dessert menu and even perhaps prepares/ serve the dessert that I wanted. But I guess they just wanted us out of there because they did not even offer to sit us somewhere else. One of the people sitting next to us came up to me while waiting on the line for the bathroom and told me that they had seen how rude they were and how the restaurant had essentially kicked us out for no apparent reason. I had been to Casa Mono many times, brought many friends to dine there, always a great experience until this past Friday.

    Food was good, customer service from the sommelier wasn't good. He wasn't nice or friendly and was pushy. We are fans of Casa Mono but was disappointed with some of the customer service.

    Good. Not the Michelin starred experience I was expecting but it was lunch time. Food was interesting and fresh. Wine was OK. Staff was gracious but the experience wasn’t top notch for the money. Would recommend for a lunch or a new food experience but not for a special occasion.

    Overall it was good experience. Restaurant is very cute and cozy.would it rated higher if wasn’t for the server that told us the kitchen is very small so when you order you need to order everything at the same time, tapas and main courses. For me is all about the experience so I would prefer to enjoy the food and the restaurant and I felt kind on a hurry.

    This was not a Michelin star for our group of 4’s taste buds and we are foodies from Florida and California. This was a decent restaurant with some Tapas style menu options. Presentation and service was good as expected at Michelin star location but the food taste was just not a wow experience. Croquettes of Bacalao were way too strong of the fish taste it overpowered the rest, the skirt steak was 6 slices of medium done steak over peppers and onions in a small skillet ($35) and the ox piquillo peppers were 2 tiny peppers with loads of oil and some tiny pieces of meat and seasoning. ($34) the best two tapas that we enjoyed was the fideos & mackerel. Overall for the price and food quality its a 3 star.

    Salt is important to flavor. Most of the dishes lacked salt and proper execution. Items remade came back spitefully over salted.

    We were lucky to get a last minute reservation for my wife’s birthday by sitting in the little pavilion. Obviously, we didn’t get to see the chefs at work, but it was much quieter (and perhaps healthier with less diners inside), so we enjoyed our conversation and took our time with the meal. The sommelier did a terrific job selecting the right bottle for our palette, while also firing the dishes in an order that didn’t leave us overly sated. The food was divine, and we tried seven dishes — each of which was better than the last. The pig belly, pigs ears, scallops, goat confit, and skirt steak were my favorites. Five stars!

    Food was phenomenal, couldn’t recommend enough. Goat dish and pork belly were the stars but everything was memorable. Service on the other hand needs improvement. Over 2.5 hours for a two person lunch is excessive. It wasn’t that we’re given time to not feel rushed, it was just disorganized. Also had to ask for water refill several times which shouldn’t occur at a Michelin started restaurant. Highly recommend just clear your schedule. Remember the food, not the service.

    First time in a while I have dined at a starred restaurant and didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off. Dishes and service danced very well together. Reminder to myself to get the scallops again. Thank you for a lovely night, Casa Mono!

    This is our 4th date to casa mono. Casa Mono is by far our number one restaurant my partner and i have ever tried to date, and we’d like to consider ourselves food critiques and casa mono never ceases to amaze with it’s menu. Though, this last visit was a bit off. We had a reservation for 9:30, and close to closing yes, but still open nonetheless. The service felt slightly rushed with the entrées. Not by a lot but noticiable. Food 10/10 like always
