Excelente servicio y buena comida
The food was amazing and great service.
The octopus with fennel and grapefruit was incredible!
This was our first visit to Casa Mono, an unassuming restaurant on the quiet blocks south of Gramercy Park. The interior of the restaurant is small and cramped, but we ate on the somewhat larger sidewalk patio. Our table for 3 was no larger than a bicycle wheel, and since it is a tapas place there was some juggling needed to fit all the plates. We had 7 dishes, just about right for a big lunch. We had the bacaloa, goat confit, pimientos, skirt steak, pulpo, manchego salad and sobrasada. All were very tasty and very distinctive. The quality of the food was actually remarkable for such a small place. Service was friendly but a little slow, so plan on a leisurely meal in the Spanish tradition. At about $70/pp, taxes tip and wine included, Casa Mono is no bargain, but the quality of the food justifies the price. We expect to return.
Excellent food and service in spite of noise from the construction 🚧
I love the whole vibe of Casa Mono. Food is excellent as well as service.
Casa mono has become a classic New York gem. Sad that the chefs table is closed right now, but can’t beat the beautiful scene on Irving place.
Staff did best they could to accommodate our request for indoor table.
The entire experience was tremendous! The food was absolutely fabulous, and I was celebrating for a friend's birthday and the service was really attentive but not overly annoying. Will definitely be back!
One of New York’s best. Alway innovating alway delicious. Wine list is absolutely astonishing.
Fideos were great! Also the steak!
Extremely accommodating to our parties extensive food allergies, very caring. Did everything thing they could to make the dining experience incredible. The food is absolutely delicious and despite the covid precautions, still manages to create a warm and welcoming dining experience.
Casa mono was amazing! Tony are server gave great service! Love this restaurant. Will definitely be coming back!
No healthy options - very few vegetable options
Food was amazing and service was impeccable except for the hostess...who was so incredibly rude that we almost walked out.
Everything was delish,
Amazing dinner! Just top quality!
Casa mono is the best! Food, drinks, service - love love love this spot!
I have been to Casa Mono before. However, my experience yesterday was disappointing. The portion of the food was too minimalist and the flavor wasn’t the best. I felt that ever dish was too expensive for the price and size of the portion.
sweet breads, scallops, razor clams all good - patatas bravas were a little over sauced - good wine by the glass selection - staff friendly and knowledgeable -
Meal was fabulous. The crudo was my favorite but as always the sweetbreads were amazing
What a great place! The food is terrific, staff is gracious & kind & even as you eat here you are thinking of a return visit.
Delighted to revisit after a while.
Fantastic food and service!
Excellent choice, all 6 dishes we tried were delicious and balanced. Worth a return. Hard to get a table, book well in advance.
We have always loved Casa Mono since we started going a few years back. During the pandemic, we've been back several times. This last time was by far the worst time and wondering the need to go back.
Items like the tomato bread coming with maybe one or two chunks of tomato (but mostly oil) or being told we ordered one serving of something when we ordered two. Empty dirty dishes sat on the table waiting to be cleared and weren't removed until after the next plates came. We never saw the waitress so when we had to ask the hostess for something, she seemed insulted. Water was never filled and only one glass of wine for two of our friends - when they never were asked for a second, they just went without anything - our water was empty by then. The server was so nondescript in her approach and lacked any sense of what was going on. Not impressed.
Food was excellent!
Great food and service!!!!!!!
The food was overall okay, somewhat lacking in flavor. Our waiters were really attentive and made the experience better. Outdoor dining was a bit of a mess with the rain and wind, there was a bit of accident but we were accommodated after which was really kind. I did ask for a birthday desert acknowledgement towards the end and it may have been forgotten but that was only really disappointing part of the night.
Amazing food! Authentically spanish in every aspect. No complaints at all.
We had the razor clams, scallops, steak and bone marrow and they were all amazing. The service is great and lots of wine options.
Everything was absolutely fantastic, from the knowledgeable sommelier and the wine that he brought, to the interior and the space. And my god, the food was outstanding. Will absolutely be coming back.
Great experience as always. My third visit in a month. Would come every day if I could.
The food is too salty and too expensive for volume. The staff is too busy to answer phone calls: I called back soon as they had asked me to do so in a message to confirm the reservation but never answerd and I again called on the day to confirm and also to check if I can change the time and left a message but they never called me back.
Fantastic food and great attention from the very friendly staff. The restaurant is on a quiet street corner that makes the outdoor seating even more pleasant and comfortable.
Favorite were the razor clams and crudo!! Great ambience!
Always love coming here! Staff are so knowledgeable and they were so supportive of one of our guest’s allergies.
