   The sommelier was very good suggested a very good white Rioja. The Rice with squid ink was also very good. The foie gras was excellent. But there was a heavy-handedness with salt on too many other dishes

   Had an amazing time at Casa Mono. They always take such great care, not only their food but also with their guests. I was so happy to try the new spring dishes, the burrata with ramps and rhubarb, the green asparagus with black truffle, and the pork belly with spring onion and peas. I find that spring is the best time to eat out and Casa Mono delivered, exceeding expectations. Don’t walk here, run.

   Der Empfang war leider nicht so gut. Wir sind zehn Minuten früher angekommen und wurden deshalb zu einer anderen Bar geschickt, weil wir noch zu früh waren. Als wir dort dann etwas bestellt haben, wurden wir sofort ins Restaurant eingeladen. Das war wirklich überraschend!

   We love it here - the food is always awesome. But disappointed with our latest experience (last night): our dessert and drinks were served, and 5 minutes later we were told to leave. We totally get table turns — that’s how restaurants make their money. But we spent $1,300 and rather than the Somm or anyone saying “hey you have 10 minutes left, are you sure you want another round of drinks and desserts,” we got everything (like, full glasses!) and then got sass from the overwhelmed and less friendly hostess to give up the table. Super bummer! Chugging vermouth and sherry is, uh, interesting? Little better communication would go a long way.

   This place is fast becoming my “go to” restaurant. Food is always outstanding and a little suprising. It is difficult to pick a favorite as all dishes are unique and delicious in their own way. When in doubt, go for the crispy pig ears!
