Our favorite restaurant!’
Food great and well prepared, our waiter Antonio attentive, welcoming and friendly.
We go to this place at least once a week and love it every time!
I’d like to go again!
Outstanding service accompanied by delicious food !!! This place is a gem ! And I suggest everyone to visit someday, anyday!
So delicious still. Got an indoor counter seat. It was actually located in the Bar Jamon part of the restaurant. The doors were left open so the cold air did creep in, and after a few drinks I needed my coat indoors. Service was super outgoing and made wonderful recommendations for food and drinks.
Amazing food with incredibly helpful staff. They were very accommodating with a gluten allergy and made us feel safe in everything we ate. Definitely pricey but it is worth it.
One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Tables were spaced out appropriately with plexi glass placed in between. Fideos and razor clams are a must (if they're on the menu)!

Really great service + food! I was a little underprepared for the cold weather. Highly suggest bringing a blanket and wearing many layers!
Good food. Nice place.
Absolutely fantastic food and experience.
I’d give it a 5 star review all the way but for the $$$$. This is one of those places where you cannot arrive hungry bc it’s tapas. Yet each tapas dish is anywhere from 15-28$. We shared three tapas amongst two people and it was good we weren’t super hungry. Aside from the expense the food is next level delectable. Like work of art. We had (photos attached) the pulpo, duck egg and goat confit. Each bite was like a slice of heaven. Service is super attentive and friendly. The ambience is so-so bc their outdoor structures (built for street dining for pandemic ban on indoor eating) are dark and dingy so it’s very wintertime feeling right now but they do have individual heaters for each table. I’d go here again (if someone else is buying) or to celebrate special occasions as I can’t justify the expense! If that’s not a big deal for you , then I’d say go again and again and try everything on the menu. I bet you they don’t have a single “ordinary” dish. The menu is simply extra ordinary!!
Amazing service and food
The service makes or break the dining experience. Unfortunately our waiter didn’t give us the experience you would think you get at a Michelin star restaurant. Food was good but not sure if I would go back.
Had a wonderful lunch. The service was excellent.
Delicious food and terrific server!
Excellent and unique choices. A little cool in the outside "Booth" but better than not.
It’s okay service is okay drinks are good . But too expensive
The food was good but not great or worth going out of your way for especially for the price. The waiter was great and nice outdoor set up during covid, was warm enough to take off my jacket on a cold night in mid January.
Fantastic food. It was a chilly day for outdoor dining, but it is what it is. Food more than made up for it.
Casa mono is the best spot in the city for small plates and BIG flavors. My wife and I try and go every few weeks for lunch as it is comfy, quiet, and delicious.
Highly recommend. 110/100
The food is tapas style and delicious! Anna was our waitress and she was great! Highly recommend and will go back
The outdoor patio is great and warm, the food and wine are just as good as when I dined indoors, and the staff is very helpful. It’s a calm, welcoming environment for a dinner out.
The food was only matched by our amazing waiter’s knowledge and personality. Brilliant.
Making the best of these difficult times Casa Mono continues to deliver welcoming hospitality, knowledgeable service and excellent cuisine. ¡Gracias, gracias, gracias!
Outdoor seating was well heated, tables well separated, with plexiglass dividers between the ones closest together. Food was marvelous, service friendly and helpful. One of the best pandemic eating experiences I've had.
A lot of options and amazing all of them
My favorite restaurant! Worth braving the weather for
Food is always great but service team was so nice. In these Covid times it is hard so so hard. The are serving in cold cold temps and so great. Thanks!
Food was good
Service was inconsistent
I like it a lot last year until today when we went to sit in the clod during the pandemics but server made everything worse. Will never go back Ever again.
Perfection. From food to drink to service.
We had eaten here about 2 months ago and the food was well seasoned. This time it was very salty as though the chef wasn’t confident in their cooking. The service was very good as was the wine. All and all disappointing.
Have been to restaurant a couple of times and always thought it was great. Such a disappointment last Sunday evening.
Host was rude , just pointed to a table. Took 2o minutes for a server to come (was joking with my friend that we should just leave.)
Service was very slow. Food was just BAD. Stale bread. Too much garlic in everything. Waiter could not produce a steak knife for the steak.
Maybe things were off because it was a Sunday - but really no excuse.
Excellent food. Everything was delicious, novel but balanced. Standouts were - Sobrasada with Honeycomb and Quince Mermelada & Crema Catalana con Buñuelos. I can't wait to come back!
Lovely day for a lovely meal. The fidoa was by far our favorite dish. 😍
Simple flavor profiles and ingredients done in a masterful, upscale way. The outdoor seating was a notch above the other attempts to accommodate pandemic dining in the street.
There was an abnormal amount of hostility from the staff as soon as I came. I know that there is an pandemic ongoing, but none of the hundreds of restaurants I had been during the 2020 pandemic in New York and 11 other cities in America, Europe, and Middle East have treated me with such hostility. It appears to be their policy. I was at an outdoor table, and waiters would refuse to approach my table unless I put a facemask on, while I'm sitting at the table. They made me feel like a leper and a criminal. It's a restaurant, not a hospital ward. Don't give these people any more money. Go to other places.
Great service! Great recommendations!

It was great dining at Casa Mono. On Irving it’s relatively quiet so not much noise from the cars. Tony was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He gave us great suggestions and I would recommend going back based on that. He was able to adapt to my tight schedule and got me out on time so I was able to stay on time for the rest of the day.
