Heard good things - didn’t have a good experience. Steamed shrimp app came out w/large, chopped RAW onions - didn’t complain. Sat and waited 10 mins for club soda refill then asked that bartender to refill - didn’t complain. Oven roasted carrots came out literally cold and hard (as in raw) - complained. Ordered Parmesan risotto instead - came out ice cold. Didn’t complain just boxed it up to take home. And remember, this was at 50% capacity. Won’t be going back.
Wonderful restaurant. Food was fantastic. Service great. Atmosphere was perfect.
Couldn’t have been better than!
My friend and I sat outside in the patio area. We got there at 11:45am so there were only a few patrons. The area is shaded but it was still very warm - August in MD! Our server was very attentive but she was the only one in the area. Our food order took some time to arrive but it was delicious. As the time moved on, the patio became more crowded. Our server could have used a server's assistant. It would have made things run more smoothly. Food was really good. Service was good under the circumstances. I will be returning soon for more good food. Prices are reasonable, food is good, and serving sizes are appropriate.
My wife and I attended Casa Mia (our first visit) with another couple. We first ordered drinks, my wife a glass of wine, I ordered a lemon drop martini, the other couple bourbon and water, and a fruit type drink. The drinks were served in plastic glasses (I guess ok because of COVID), wife's wine was in a glass. My drink was a half of a small plastic glass, which seemed to me to be very small for a martini, the other fruit drink was in a full size plastic glass. My drink as small as it was seemed to be lacking as far as the amount of alcohol. My friends fruit drink was somewhat watered down. The bourbon had a bug in the drink. She returned it directly to the bartender and got a replacement. We didn't bother the waiter, she was swamped (told us immediately that they were shorthanded). To our surprise, when we received our check, none of us were charged for our drinks, which was a very nice gesture. They were ten dollars each which was high for the amount of alcohol in the drink but I can't complain because she didn't charge us. I had an order of mussels for an appetizer which was outstanding, as a matter of fact, I will possibly return for lunch one day and order the mussels for my main meal. We all got a crab cake for our entree, and it was very very good, we had a choice of sides and I had the mac and cheese which was excellent and sauteed spinach. I had the 8 oz crab cake but the quantity of the sides was very small. All in all the dinner was good, and a little pricey. I'm not sure if I'll go back or not, the poor drink quality kind of set the tone of the entire dinner. I really can't complain about the service, our waiter was extremely busy but still managed to be attentive.
Everything was great. Food was awesome, the server was a delight, and the location/ atmosphere was unbeatable. One of my favorite places and never have any complaints.
Ask earlier in day about awning and was told they had one I case of rain. What the person didn’t say was that there was a private party that evening. Bar is very close if not overcrowded for COVID-19. We ate outside and it didn’t rain and were given complimentary drinks. That said food was very good
Need more fans for mid day out on the patio to keep it cool
The food is always good, as well as the service. We go back often.
I have been there a few times . The food and service have always been great . (Crab Cakes) yum! This last trip however some of the food was not the same . I would still recommend . Give it a try .
Service was slow but understandable the current restrictions on restaurants do not allow them to be quicker
Food was amazing...Penne Vodka was incredible and so was the salad dressing on the salad.
Excellent! Return visit for the Best Crabcakes anywhere. Friendly relaxed atmosphere and service. We drive an hour to get to Casa Mia..well worth it!
Crab cakes were delicious!
While our evening was very enjoyable and the food and drink were good, the highlight of our visit was our service.
Our waitress, Kathy was so fun and informative and helpful. My friend wanted a sweet red wine and although they only had dry reds, our waitress Kathy offered a liquid sugar used in some of their beverages. My friend who is extremely picky was thrilled with the result. Several other interactions with the menu and great sense of humor made the evening very fun.
Been here before, but this past visit was very poor. Our waiter was overextended, and had no idea about any of the menu items (I’m a celiac, so need gluten-free). It was crowded and we sat there for 30 minutes with our menus; didn’t even get to order drinks. Since we had our two small kids with us, we had to leave.
We had a reservation, but it was crowded so they moved us to the back room. Which is quieter (good) but the ambiance is not as great. really enjoyed it, though, and the food was really good, nice large portions.
Food was excellent as always, and while I realize it was Valentine's Day AND on a Friday night, the wait time to get our food was just too long. Our sever was obviously doing his best, but I feel they overbooked and overwhelmed the kitchen staff. More frustrating was seeing other tables whi were seated after us getting their food before us. For some reason, the other server in that room was getting her tickets filled by the kitchen staff before those put in by the young man serving us and the table next to us, who waited even longer. I felt badly for him, as I heard him making the same apologies to others that he made to us. Not sure if this is some sort of favoritism by the kitchen staff with the blonde female waitress over the young man waiting on us, but it seemed pretty constant all evening, seeing her put in tickets for her tables well after ours and other tables, but her coming back with their food well before us.
That aside, we had an enjoyable meal. Highly recommend the Chicken Chesapeake.
Our favorite crab cakes in the area. Neighborhood feel! New server obviously but everyone has a new start at some time.
Foods always good and the service was great!! Would recommend!
Nice restaurant, great service. Crab cake was excellent but wife’s steak not cooked well. Will definitely go back.
The crabcakes are very good normally and these were good but not as much lump crabmeat as usual. The service was a bit slow considering that it wasn't very busy.
The food was delicious. We went for the bottomless mimosas and it was great. Our waitress Cathy was amazing, funny, attentive. We would def return again.
We go there often. Great food & the owner always working on new ideas. Love it.
Delicious food and great service. Fun atmosphere and plenty of tvs if you want to watch sports.
Make a reservation!
Best crabcakes on the planet, nice group of people normally attend, great music
We enjoyed very much our dinners
It would depend on what kind of dining my friends are looking for. A lot of bar noise and very slow service
Made a reservation and had to stand in the doorway for 10 minutes while they got us a table. Everyone’s food came out cold. Bread was cold and hard. Waitress didn’t know the menu at all. Had to ask for refills multiple times and never got them. Had a half chicken for the special and it was overcooked. So dry it was inedible.
Our experience was wonderful and the crab cakes were outstanding!!
The crab cakes were delicious but everything else was just okay. The sides came out cold and the ahi tuna was well done. Not rare as promised.
Took my sister in law to dinner for her birthday. My wife and I had not been here before but had heard the food was very good. It was great. Ladies got the crabcake and absolutely loved it. I got a burger (huge) that was prepared exactly as I asked and loved it. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. Will definitely be coming back again.
Great crab cakes.
What great crab cakes!Wow!
Always the best crab cakes!!
Excellent food and service. Restaurant is a bit noisy. One of the best crab cakes on earth I also enjoyed their spaghetti. Sauce was like homemade. I have made two recent trips there so it must be good. On both occasions our waitresses have been outstanding. For dessert try the Bomba. I did...twice. The only criticism I have is they do not offer Coors Light on tap. Bud lite sucks and that is their only light beer on draft.
Stacie was our waitress which always makes the dinning here perfect! Food was perfect 👍
So we were there on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was busy. We had an excellent waitress who was very attentive. The crabcakes were excellent but the food took a little while to come from the kitchen and was just warm not hot. It is a little pricey but again the crabcakes are EXCELLENT!
Food was OK...our main course pasta dishes were good, but the side salads and garlic bread were lacking. It was little noisy and the tables just seem too close together. Our waitress was great, and overall it’s a good option for a night out locally.
Very noisy. Service was slow. Price was high for the foods eaten (food was good).
