Went on Yelp to find a place in the south end of the south beach. Came across Matilda’s and was instantly sold on a Steak house with Mexican food and Tulum style decor. It was Saturday night and our reservation (4) people was at 7pm and the place was pretty empty when we arrived. It makes me wonder when I walk into a restaurant at 7pm on a Saturday and it’s kinda empty. Turns out it was a good thing because we got extra attention by the staff which were all very welcoming and attentive. Shortly after we arrived it got busy but not crazy busy. Service was great and the food and drinks were all wonderful. We had the Ribeye, Filet Mignon, Branzino and the crab enchiladas. I recommend any of those entrees. This is not a place to go if you’re on budget but than again no good restaurant is. One appetizer, a couple drinks each person and the entrees was about $600 all in.

We had a wonderful experience food service, and atmosphere was wonderful. We will be returning again.

The restaurant was beautiful. I enjoy myself especially on my birthday. They show me so much love and the food was so awesome. The drinks was good as well. I enjoy my birthday thank you. Oh and customer service was great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤗

They are very short of service staff. Food was good but came out cold due to the lack of staff and the one server was running around trying to do everything.

What scam I tried cancelling my reservation and no one picks up the phone and than they charged my card bc I couldn’t cancel . I even wrote a message and no one got back to me .
