   Service here was horrible. Arrived at the restaurant with my family and they sat us down immediately. However, no questions were asked and we were not directed as to what to do. I had to get up and ask the first person I could find for assistance. As a first timer I guess I expected to be told what our options were and to be offered water at the very least. Our server had an attitude the remainder of our visit. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking to have good service on a Sunday outing.

   It was our first time at this restaurant. The information below is based on our experience, and it may be different for you. Negatives: Food took long to get to the table. The meat was ordered well done, it was served medium rare. They forgot a side (cactus). Sodas were not refilled in a timely manner. Our table was not checked on in a timely manner. Positives: They do reservations. We were seated in a timely manner. Chips and salsa were immediately brought to the table. Food is not too pricey. The music is not too loud, we could still have a conversation. The server was friendly ( just overworked with many tables to tend). The food was delicious and with good portions. Conclusion: It is not a 5 star restaurant, but it is definitely a restaurant to consider. I would bring my family again.

   The food was just ok! I would have liked more in the way of chicken or shrimp! I was served coffee in a cup with lipstick on it. My sons beer had black things floating in it! I believe next year I will start early and find something more to my liking. Overall it wasn’t bad. But the food was far from anything Mexican I have eaten

   Food was great. Service was great. But the bill I was given didn't match what Open Table said the total would be. The total on Open Table was $148; the total I ended up paying was $200 plus tax and tip. $260. Gratuity was included in the bill. (!) When I asked the waiter, he said that management said the price is $40 per person on holidays. It didn't say that on the Open Table website until today and there was nothing to indicate the increased price anywhere in the restaurant or the website. So the sticker shock was an unpleasant surprise. 4 adults, 1 child, but I guess everyone gets charged the same on holidays.

    On this night, their customer service was extremely slow. In fact, I had to get up and ask for our server since they had not taken our order for over 45 minutes. It took forever for the bill as well. The food was not as delish as when it was Casa Moreno... just meh.

    They either need more staff or a retrain on how to handle a Friday night crowd. We had to send a dinner back 3xs before we finally got what we ordered. Had to get our own menus and a drink refill from the bar.

    First time here for Sunday bottomless mimosa brunch. Made reservation for 11, seated right away, service was excellent never had to ask for refills, variety of food and was fresh. Gabriel was our waiter, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

    Aweful Experience, sorry to report. Came after the Brunch this past Sunday. The guy who delivered chips just slammed them down on the table and walked away setting the tone. Server came up after waiting 15 minutes, took our order and nothing ever came. No drinks, no food, we just walked out it was so awful and told the Host on the way out how awful the service was. There were tons of employees too so it wasn’t hard to come over and say something for anyone. No awareness at all.

    I love the interesting menu. We have dined at Casa Maguey three times and the food is consistently delicious, flavorful and generous. Highly recommend the enchiladas and carnitas. The Cadillac Margaritas are generous. Last time, we tried the guacamole appetizer. Another time we had a dessert. So far, no bad choices. Service can sometimes be slow. I think that, post COVID, restaurants are having a difficult time knowing how to staff for perfect service and profitable business. I try to be sympathetic. Maybe if one has a deadline or theater date it would be helpful to give the waitress a head's up. I prefer not to feel rushed, but to enjoy dinner so most of the time we are not disturbed if our check is slow to come. Drinks and food have always been timely.

    Very busy Sunday. Had a reservation but still waited for a good 25 mins to be seated. It was a busy crowded lunch day. Food at the buffet tables runs low. No plates available and have to wait for a while to be replenished. Workers are nice but you can tell they needed more help to keep up with the crowd. I love the area but will have to think twice coming back.

    Service was lacking. 4 tables in the restaurant on a rainy Friday night at 6 pm. Two different servers taking drink order. Couldn’t tell you if they were both our servers or what. Asked for a water for my 2 year old and a kids menu. She never came back with it, but managed to walk in with a tray full of coffee bean. When the other server came to take our food order i had to ask again for her water. Out of plastic kids cups and never got the kids menu. Food came out wrong, didn’t bring it to the attention since they seemed to be “busy” drinking there coffee at a back booth. There celebrating a birthday and unfortunately it was not great experience.

    We had a 7 PM reservation on a Saturday evening. We didn’t get seated to our table until 7:40 PM, By 8 o’clock we still had not been able to order drinks or any food or appetizers. When I spoke with the manager, he said I’m sorry, we’re short staffed. If that was the case, I wish they would have limited the number of reservations available for that evening. We had up leaving at 8 o’clock. Very unhappy.

    Should have known: tried for a week to get a reservation—left on hold forever, called another day and left info (No response). Finally used Open Table. Waitress was way into speed—the time we took to ask about selections was not appreciated. Appetizer was placed on the table with no thought to providing plates for the four people sharing. Then a party of twenty-four descended and stood near our booth (less than two feet, at times) for twenty minutes talking at a decibel level only a jet plane could equal. It was not a pleasant dining experience and I do not plan to repeat it.

    Food tasted great. We would have ordered more but our server left in the middle of our meal on a Sat night and no one appeared to be assigned to our table. Became a long evening of waiting around even though there were many empty tables in the restaurant.

    Our first time coming here. Food was very good. We did have to some trouble getting our bill at the end , our waitress was M.I.A. Also, they should provide water when the bar is busy. My drink took longer than expected and not a cup of water nearby.

    What a wonderful find Casa Maguey was! My friends and I will certainly put CM into the restaurant rotation! The food was flavorful, the service was great, and the price was very reasonable. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch as they had a wonderful selection of food. Green pozole?!! Yes, please! The included bottomless mimosas alone was worth it! And they weren’t stingy and they weren’t rushing to get us to leave! I will definitely be back!

    Went to Casa Maguey to celebrate my wife’s birthday and they took care of our party of 18 with no problem. Service was fantastic. My wife and I shared the fajitas plate with chicken, shrimp and steak and It was delicious. My micheladas were perfect too. Would definitely go back.

    Please don’t spend your time. Drinks taste like juice. Services not so good. Food plan. You can tell this is a family own because the owners children are running around and yelling. I won’t be coming back.
