"The Casa Italia Pizzeria and Pastificcio is one of Liverpool’s longest-established eateries and we have been serving the people of Liverpool for over 40 years.

We are a popular, authentic Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere be it day or night. Known for our fresh ingredients, generous portions and the best value Italian wine, low prices make us affordable for everyone.

We are a bustling eatery with traditional Italian interior, we seat 120 downstairs and the upstairs is available for booking parties and functions for up to 60 people. All food is prepared on the premises daily from the pizza dough right down to the home-made tiramisu.

Our booking was Friday at 6pm. The restaurant was full and bustling. The atmosphere is loud but cheerful. The food was delicious and the service was great. Their pasta is their best. One suggestion would be that the wine selection could be better. Otherwise definitely recommend. It’s a fab place.

We’ve been coming to the Casa Italia since 1979 and now all our extended family are also regulars. Unfortunately on this occasion the lasagnes were not up to the usual standard. As usual we were too greedy and took our leftovers home, but on opening the tubs realised the whole of the bottom layer was burnt. I would like to add tho that as usual the service was top class and Davide our waiter was excellent.

I've been eating at the Casa for over 30 years - the food is consistently great and the atmosphere is always lively so don't go there if you're expecting a quiet dining experience for 2!

A very enjoyable experience, the food was amazing as always. Open table booking was very straight forward to use, and highly recommended to book if numbers allow as there is often a very long queue. One of my favourite restaurants for sure.

Been to Casa Italia so many times one of the best restaurants in the city Value for money great ambience great service fantastic food. Love the house red wine 🍷

Food was lovely, but we had to clean our own table which wasn’t great. Mains were placed down on a table full of empty starter dishes and nowhere to move, not good with small children. Had to get up numerous times for additional cutlery and napkins. We were also put on a make shift table, similar to a collapsible one that’s brought out at family parties, the leg was broke and so the table was constantly moving up and down. Considering the bill was nearly £200 I expected more from the experience. The team went above and beyond for my daughters allergy however, three people asked about her Epi pen prior to her eating and although this is for safety, it was a bit overboard having answered three separate times. This made my daughter feel anxious and as a consequence her meal was half eaten. It feels disappointing really, as a frequent visitor it feels this happens all too often. It feels so corporate lately, give me casa vibes from the 90’s/ early 00’s any day of the week. I miss it.
