Casa Isola
The menu is a blend of contemporary and traditional and includes homemade dishes like Rigatoni Alla Vodka and Veal Chop Parmigiana, to an elevated Pappardelle Alla Bolognese with a braised rabbit.
Nestled in the prestigious Sunset Harbour just minutes from Lincoln Road, Casa Isola is a quaint osteria that offers indoor and outdoor dining. A selection of Italian wines, beers and low-proof cocktails are available. As Nonna would want it, a Sunday Sauce is available daily until it runs out, because at Casa Isola we are all family.

So delicious for a little brunch with our kiddo! 10/10 ok everything and the service was spectacular!
LOVE Casa Isola. The food was amazing and place charming. Very attentive staff too. Their Sunday Sauce pasta is just what you need on a Sunday ! Rigatoni with meatball, sausage and rib ... delicious! The Ravioli is also a home run. Everything we had was soooooo good. 5 stars
Thanks for your review and feedback!
Underwhelming. Service-meh. Ambiance-meh. Food- super lackluster...was excepting SO much more from a Jose Mendin collab
We sorry to hear this, we will work to meet your expectations on your next visit
Excellent food although suboptimal service. Small place with tables too close to each other - especially with the pandemic. I could reach out and touch the table next to me. The servers, however, were wearing masks.
Seated immediately. Limited menu. The Casa Isola wedge salad was actually chopped and not served as a wedge, but the dressing was very flavorful. The creamy polenta al fungi was excellent - very smooth consistency. The rigatoni alla vodka that reviewers raved about was ok- my wife liked it but I thought it needed more sauce and tasted more like a spicy tomato sauce than a vodka sauce. The rigatoni with short rib was very good. We had to ask for a water refill, for parmigian cheese, and for sweetener, and the people bringing the dishes to the table didn’t know who order which dish. However, the quality of the food made up for the service and space issues.
Overall, this is a very nice, small restaurant with excellent Italian food.
Thanks for your review and feedback we will work to make your next visit great!
Small restaurant but food is very good.
Nice place. Good food
FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! service was REALLY slow... it took over 2.5 hours for dinner. ambiance was less then desired - planter beds were filled with littered with trash.
JLandis thanks for taking the time of giving us your feedback, we will do our best to improve our time of service and we will take care of the planter beds immediately.
10/10 will be going back. Best Italian restaurant I’ve gone to in a while, coming from an Italian American New Yorker. Will be returning soon.
Our pleasure to be there for you!
I’m vegetarian so I had one of the two entrees which is their house speciality apparently. The Rigatoni Alka Vodka was everything I had heard. It’s very good. Also a wonderful surprise is the Polenta Al Funghi .
Awesome quality of food. Chef Santos really knows his stuff!
Highly recommend the mushroom ravioli. Great service also to add to an excellent experience.
Chef Santos Rocks!! Thanks Daisy
My new favorite miami spot. It’s like gourmet Brooklyn Italian food.
Thanks Joe, you are our new favorite guest!
Love this restaurant! The service is wonderful and friendly, the food is very delicious, and our bottle of rose was perfect. If I lived in Miami, this would be a place I would regular almost every week. The pasta is SO GOOD!!
Certainly a welcome addition to the neighborhood .
Food is fresh & delicious . The staff is very welcoming. Can’t wait to return !
Thanks Beak, can´t wait to see you!
Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is quite tasty and enjoyable. Pretty good wine list.
I tried Casa Isola for the first time and I'm really glad I choose the restaurant for a very special night. The food is amazing! I've tried several italian restaurants in Miami and in Europe and can confirm that the quality of the ingredients, the plating and the taste are really outstanding! Truly recommend it! The outside terrace is beautiful!
Living in Sunset Harbour, I am always looking for good neighborhood restaurants. Casa Isola is a great new addition to SH. I had the Polenta Al Funghi for starters. A very good dish, but for me a large portion and rich enough for a main course. My friends had Bucatini Alla Gricia as good as any I have had in Roma. Two of us split the "Sunday Sauce" which was as good and equal to any I have had elsewhere. Somehow we managed to split the Cartocci Siciliani which was light and nicely presented. The wine list, quite acceptable. Yes, I will return soon to try other offerings on the menu.
Thanks for your review, we looking to see you soon
Perfect little neighborhood gem. Real Italian food. I will definitely be back
Such a great find. A small Italian kitchen delivering authentic delicious food with friendly service. Fun date night or getting together with friends. Everything we had was exceptional.
Fantastic little hidden gem in Sunset harbor! Veal Parm and Spicy rigatoni are a must!
Tables a little too close to each other but everything else was perfect!
Thanks for your feedback, we will put attention to it
Amazing experience!! Hands down the new restaurant in Miami. Chef Mendin and Chef Santo’s food is a match made in heaven. Everything is beautifully presented and the flavors are some of the best you’ll ever have. Can’t wait to go back for more!
Thanks for your comments, we hope to see you soon!
Beautiful restaurant, great food and service
Service is kind and prompt. Food came out quickly, and they even moved us to an outside table once one became available.
I had the Sunday Sauce, which was a great dinner... and also a great lunch for the next couple days lol
She had the basil pesto and loved it even more.
I had the ginger spritz, too, and have thought about it more than once since
Thanks! every day is Sunday at Casa Isola!
The place is adorable, everything we ate was amazing and everyone who worked there was extremely friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
They have very small space outside, even with our reservation and an open seat they would like to seat us on a particular table for 4.
The place is not worth to go.
Food is really delicious. Sitting outdoor is pleasant. Indoor is kind of noisy.
Great service, but most of all great food.
Amazing food and service. You guys really know what you are doing. Great place for authentic Italian cuisine!
Thanks!! WE e hope to see you soon
Great new Italian in Sunset Harbor neighborhood. We had the mushroom raviolini and the seafood pasta-both good. The servce good, the Manager Carlos was great and attentive. Only wine and champagne while they work on their liquor license, so no martini's for now..
We will be back.
Incredible food!!! 10/10
Very impressed with Casa Isola. They won me over as soon as they placed the bread plate down. It came with a serving of caponata that I couldn’t resist. I almost asked for more, but then the burrata came. I don’t have a picture of it, because my friend and I were too excited to dig in. The cheese melted as soon as we cut into it. It was fresh and perfect. The bucatini was al dente and loved the level of spice of the cacio e pepe. So good! The main event I would say came the the dish called The Sunday Sauce. As soon as it hit my lips it brought back memories from my parents and grandparents home cooking. I know it’s cliché to say, but it really did. Being first generation Sicilian American from New York, so I know the Sunday Sauce here is the real deal. I recommend coming hungry, because this dish is a beast. It was hard to find the pasta in this dish as it was covered with copious amounts of meat. The fresh ricotta on top was a nice touch. I can’t wait to come back, but next time I’m bringing more friends.
Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback and specially for your words, You made our day!
Service was excellent but the food was superb!!!
Love this
This place didn’t disappoint!! The burrata was INCREDIBLE, my fave dish of the night. The Fried Calamari was a close second, the sauces to die for! Service was great, our server made excellent recommendations
Wonderful new additional to the South Beach dining scene
This place has recently opened but felt an established restaurant. Food atmoshere decor and service were impeccable we felt we will be returning again and again!! I would only say they need to change the floor although it was entertaining watching everyone sliding around. Carlos (Madrileño) was both professional and friendly we felt particularly at home.. cant wait to return xx. Thanks again Fiona&John
Incredible food, service and ambience!! Will definitely be back!
We will be waiting for you1
I think the music needs to be turned down a little bit inside... everyone screams over everyone else. Don't get me wrong ...I like the music you are playing...but just forces people to tell...and the whole interior is deafening. Overall though, things were great... accommodating with the puppy, and good food.
Thanks for your comment, we will take care of that, we hope to see you soon.
This was my favorite spot went to in Miami! The food was AMAZING and the staff was so friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommend.
Best new restaurant on the Beach! Chef Santo is killing it!
our experience in the restaurant was wonderful, the food is really good, the chef personally recommended some dishes of his creation, it was all delicious !! We will definitely be back, original Italian food cooked by an Italian chef !!!
One of the best new restaurants in Miami. Chef Mendin is a Miami legend and he proves that again.
