Brunch: Saturday-Sunday 11 am to 3:30 pm
What Insiders Are Saying
Casa Enrique is home to the best Mexican food in New York City, and we bet you've never heard of it. Time to get acquainted with Long Island City.
Food was delicious, service was fast and on point.
Best mexican food ever
This was my 2nd time here. Easily the best Mexican food that I've had outside of Mexico.
Guess I'm old school. If we are going to pay $24+ for a few chicken enchiladas, rice & beans should be served next to them rather than having to pay additional for a 'side'. Sure the place has a Michelin star, the margs are great (they better be for $14 +). Ehh, too pricy, too far to walk from the E train. I miss the old Maryanne's, music, margs, full platters!
Need more vegetarian options. Food is delicious but absolutely nothing for vegans and lots of cheese based options for vegetarians
As always great food, great service!! Casa Enrique’s Michelin Star is well deserved
I loved the food and service. Overall it was great!
Our waitress was great will definitely go back
Enjoyable casual restaurant with superior food quality/price ratio.
Great service. Amazing food.
Amazing restaurant, we were seated right away, service was quick. We were immediately greeted by our waitress, who also gave great recommendations on what to try for both food and drinks! Food was delicious, we had guacamole, enchiladas, and fish and nothing was disappointing. The highlight was the tres leches cake which was so unbelievably decadent and the horatcha espresso!
We were disappointed they didn’t offer the crab tostadas the Saturday we were there- and we were there at 11am. The food was very good although, being from San Diego, I can’t say it was exceptional. I’m kind of surprised for the Michelin Star. The drinks were great and a great value for NYC.
Great food! Always have a great experience at Casa
This is the third Mexican Michelin-starred restaurant we have dined at over the past months. The food was average Mexican food. The other two restaurants were extremely refined. I appreciate the level required to gain a star in Madrid and Barcelona may be higher, but the difference was blatant.
The cuisine, presentation and service was very uninspiring. The wine list was extremely disappointing. The Mezcal was ok, but nothing more.
If you want to try Mexican haute cuisine make a trip to Mexico City where you will find an abundance of restaurants which are light years away in terms of sophistication and innovation.
Absolutely LOVE this place! Wish it were closer to me—-I’d eat there all the time!
Some of the best and most refined Mexican anywhere. Don’t miss it!
Amazing and authentic Mexican food! Great service. Perfect ambiance for getting together with my girlfriend and catching up on life.
There is nothing pretentious about this one Michelin star restaurant. The food speaks for itself. The waitstaff was lovely, our request for no cilantro was respected and everything was delicious.
Absolutely delicious and authentic food. Great service
This place was awesome. It has been my third time coming to Casa Enrique. I am Mexican and have gone to many Mexican restaurants. This one was special. The food is homemade. I also loved their drinks. I wish the place was bigger. You really have to make your reservation in advance. It is worth it.
Best Mexican food in New York City (right know) . Just excellent food in a really nice environment, served to you by friendly people. For me, it took me to my mom's kitchen (good memories).
This is probably the best Mexican restaurant tin NYC.
From our guacamole to the soft shell crab and barbacoa everything was delicious but the chicken mole was fantastic. The best mole I have ever had.
This was our second visit and we enjoyed it both times, but I probably wouldn't hurry back. The food is wonderful, and I would recommend a visit just to try some of the specialties. Unfortunately, the restaurant is too noisy. Although we felt somewhat rushed by the waiter, we wouldn't have wanted to linger anyway because the atmosphere is just not relaxing.
Elevated Mexican classics and nouvelle cuisine — in Queens!
Casa Enrique has amazing food and the service is also great ! LOVE the guacamole and enchiladas
Delicious food, unusual combinations of foods, interesting takes on familiar dishes.
Couldn’t have been better
The servers were very attentive to our table. Food was brought on the table and taken away with a military provision. Our waitress gave us great recommendation for the mezcal because we’ve never had any of them before. Our mojito, margarita, and mezcal were all delicious.
I don’t know how they cooked the meat but it was so tender and fell right off the bone. The ratio of sauce to rice/protein was perfect. We loved the tortilla in the tacos and Rajas de crema. It smelled so fresh. Almost every dish came with the tortilla and unfortunately, we couldn’t eat them all.
Simple food made great! I thought I knew how the best guacamole tasted, having had it in Mexico dozens of times, but this one proved me wrong. The margaritas were amazing. We had tacos and Mole, both flawlessly executed. We’ll be back!
My only reservation is that word is already out and it’s already difficult to get a reservation
foods and services are amazing
Always a wonderful time - food is great, restaurant is clean and the staff is terrific!
First time back in awhile, but the food and service are still top notch. I can’t come up with anything negative to say about this place. We used to live in the neighborhood and dined here regularly. Moved to California two years ago and have been missing the food since. No place out west makes food this good. All the staff are friendly and professional. If you like great Mexican food and margaritas, you can’t go wrong.
great place. Love going over and over.
However, there is a real need for noise attenuation - way too noisy. Seats very hard, unable to stay for dessert and after drinks., which was unfortunate this time.
Friendly service and excellent, authentic food. As good as it gets for Mexican in NYC
Happy that they have high chairs for baby and a food allergen free option as one of their specials.
Will be coming back soon!
Excelente. From the lady at the door, Felipe at the bar and Gustavo at the table, all were very cordial and friendly and proper. Love the place.
Casa never fails! Always delicious! The enchiladas are some of the best I've ordered in LIC area. Guac is always a great app to start with too.
Such amazing food and drinks! Perfect for any occasion - either a casual night out, a date, or a special occasion.
All around solid. First time in for brunch. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food and the casual vibe.
