Amazing! Second time and I was even more impressed. Food is true Mexican, creative and delicious. Highly recommended for any occasion. I live in Chicago and I dine out 8 out of 7 days at week, this Casa Enrique is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. Great job chef Cosme! Also, service is top notch!

Keep waiting for 20mins even got reservation, table for 2 can be served immediately even no reservation. Food is soso, environment is terrible, baby is crying, quite noisy, no one would say bye after u pay anything, doorwomen just standby and chatting when u r leaving, no one there cares about what u experienced, cos they always receive fresher followed by Michelin guide.
Only good thing is the price, not such expensive.

Wait for entrees after guacamole and salad was way too long. Portion size of skirt steak tacos was more like an appetizer than an entree

Food was delicious, 5 stars. Drinks were amazing, except it took about 30 minutes to get them. The server had an attitude and seemed to be annoyed the entire time. We weren’t aware the kitchen was closing and we were never informed. We wanted to order one more dish and was rudely told kitchen was closed, but they never gave last call for food. We weren’t offered a dessert menu but the table across us was, after we were told kitchen was closed. The busboy was so kind, helpful and pleasant. Overall, excellent atmosphere and amazing food, only wish our server fit the the Michelin star restaurant.

Food was excellent and so was the staff. I give it 4 stars because it's very loud inside making it very hard to hear the waiter and each other.

Food and drinks were great. The guacamole was a very small portion for $15. But all else was great!

This was my second time back. The food is delicious but the portions are small for the price. It becomes extremely loud and one can hardly hear your partner. The earlier you go, the quieter it will be.

Amazing experience, being from Mexico and being in the restaurant industry it really transported me to Mexico, everything we ordered was great and the Chef Cosme even came out and sat with us for a few minutes.

Guess I'm old school. If we are going to pay $24+ for a few chicken enchiladas, rice & beans should be served next to them rather than having to pay additional for a 'side'. Sure the place has a Michelin star, the margs are great (they better be for $14 +). Ehh, too pricy, too far to walk from the E train. I miss the old Maryanne's, music, margs, full platters!

Amazing restaurant, we were seated right away, service was quick. We were immediately greeted by our waitress, who also gave great recommendations on what to try for both food and drinks! Food was delicious, we had guacamole, enchiladas, and fish and nothing was disappointing. The highlight was the tres leches cake which was so unbelievably decadent and the horatcha espresso!

We were disappointed they didn’t offer the crab tostadas the Saturday we were there- and we were there at 11am. The food was very good although, being from San Diego, I can’t say it was exceptional. I’m kind of surprised for the Michelin Star. The drinks were great and a great value for NYC.

This is the third Mexican Michelin-starred restaurant we have dined at over the past months. The food was average Mexican food. The other two restaurants were extremely refined. I appreciate the level required to gain a star in Madrid and Barcelona may be higher, but the difference was blatant.

The cuisine, presentation and service was very uninspiring. The wine list was extremely disappointing. The Mezcal was ok, but nothing more.

If you want to try Mexican haute cuisine make a trip to Mexico City where you will find an abundance of restaurants which are light years away in terms of sophistication and innovation.

This place was awesome. It has been my third time coming to Casa Enrique. I am Mexican and have gone to many Mexican restaurants. This one was special. The food is homemade. I also loved their drinks. I wish the place was bigger. You really have to make your reservation in advance. It is worth it.

This was our second visit and we enjoyed it both times, but I probably wouldn't hurry back. The food is wonderful, and I would recommend a visit just to try some of the specialties. Unfortunately, the restaurant is too noisy. Although we felt somewhat rushed by the waiter, we wouldn't have wanted to linger anyway because the atmosphere is just not relaxing.

How did this place get a Michelin star? Service was lacking and very brusque. I didn't find the food elevated at all and the prices didn't reflect the quality. We left there still hungry. Definitely not recommended and not coming back. You can't even compare this restaurant to some of the other 1 star spots in NYC.
