These guys did it all right.
Fantastic service, delicious food, romantic ambiance, and good portions as well. I would highly recommend this place for a date night!
I loved it, but it was EXTREMELY noisy... not sure if there is something they can do about it, but I was on a romantic date and I couldn’t hear anything my wife was saying :(
Amazing food and great service. My favorite Mexican restaurant in NYC by far
Great food, as always. Our server was not great, but yhe experience was
Excellent food, friendly service. But felt a little rushed with the plates getting cleared very quickly. Price overall was much more expensive than expected.
Food was fresh and outstanding. I work in the industry and I must say the service was on point and truly made the overall dining experience. Leo was an excellent and attentive server along with the incredible support staff. Busser/food runner was a ninja! He was fast, polite, and aware, yet not invasive. Staff seemed generally happy to be working there which is half the experience. Thank you for a wonderful meal! I’ll definitely recommend and return for a third time in the near future.
Hip and purposefully funky. Great tequila shot menu and a great house margarita! Terrific guacamole and yum soft tacos. We loved it
Food was amazing and very good value for money. Though, the service was annoyingly quick, which made us eating super fast and gave us the feeling that we need to go fast because they wanted to stuff as many reservations as possible.
A well-earned Michelin star! This place is not to be missed! Amazing service paired with amazing food.
Great food as always! Super friendly staff as well!
Fiod qas overpriced and underflavored. Seemed to be more of a sceme than a michelon star reataurant.
Cosy, bustling, warm and welcoming restaurant. Service was impeccable and food was delicious. Would 110% recommend!
Food was amazing! Felt like we were transported back to Mexico City. Price was higher than expected and does not reflect prices on their website. Will definitely be for the chicken mole
My friend and I went for brunch and we will definitely be back! The service and the food were fantastic to say they were pretty busy. They most certainly earned their Michelin star!
Came here for brunch on a Sunday and could not have had a better experience. Excellent eggs and mole, horchata, cocktails, and pork sandwich. Service was prompt and friendly without rushing us. Will definitely be back.
Each time i visit with friends and family the staff make us feel so welcomed. It feels like youre visiting a relative that cooks really well. Thank you so much for the enlightened Hospitality experience!
It was my anniversary dinner and they sat us next to the bathroom. We asked for 3 items
Chips and guac
All to come out separately (once we finished one item they bring the next) and they brought them all out together before our drinks even came.
For a Michelin star restaurant I was extremely disappointed in the lack of attention to detail. How does it take 25 minutes to make 2 margaritas especially at 5:30 PM when the restaurant wasn’t crowded.
Waste of money and not the way I would envision spending my anniversary
The Best Mexican food in Queens!
Casa Enrique is amazing. Love everything about it. The food is insanely delicious. Hot sauce is hot. Green sauce not hot but flavorful. Beet, jicama, carrot and mint salad yummy. I can’t wait to go back.
The service at casa Enrique was nothing less than quality. My friend and I sat at the bar for brunch and the bartender Chanda was very engaging and knowledgeable about mezcal and the drinks on the menu. We were having such a nice experience we stayed a lot longer than expected. It’s one of my favorite go to places in the neighborhood.
This place is amazing. We've been there half a dozen times and our main problem now is trying new items while still getting all of the things we know we love. My absolute fave are the meatballs - the sauce they come in is heavenly. As I write this I am dreaming of my next return.
This is the real deal: great Mexican food in NYC. Unfortunately most diners were ordering only guacamole and tacos. Try the sopes, try the mole, try the enchiladas - all excellent.
Dining at Casa Enrique was by far one of the best dine-ins I have had, being a culinary student. I got the chance to savor the flavors that Chef Cosme had used to make his dishes taste the way they do. Would I come back again? Most definitely! And this time maybe get a chance to speak with Chef Cosme too.
Graciously kept a table for us despite our late arrival due to weather. Very good affordable wine list and excellent food. Would have loved a more spicy mole with pork. If it is ever added to the menu as a special I would like to reserve a table that day
This was the second time in Casa Enrique, and we totally enjoyed the food as we expected. The service was outstanding, and the environment was cozy. Highly recommended!
Wonderful top notch place for Mexican food. Dishes are well balanced and flavoured.
Fantastic! Best Mexican in the city
Little bit expensive and cramped. But the food and service were great. Bold flavors and a cool location.
Good food but nothing extra special in terms of service or food.
Starting with the walk in, greeted warmly and promptly shown to our table. Drink order quickly taken and delivered with nibbles on the table. Three sauces were introduced hot, mild, and green. Hit was hot, mild used roasted tomatoes and had good flavor, green also had a similar char but very cooling. Definitely work your way from green to hot. Waitress was all smiles and took our order. Food came pretty quickly starting with the guacamole and 2 lengua tacos. The chips and tortilla was awesome. Guacamole was really good. The lengua super tender and plentiful. Then came the chicken mole and lamb. First time having mole and it was unique. Sweet, bitter, very complex flavors. The chicken was super tender. Lamb shank had plenty of meat and tender as well. Both came with rice and beans, as well as more tortilla shells. Finished with the tres leches which was just the right amount of sweetness. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes.
Best Mexican Food in USA
The food was excellent and my margarita was unforgettable. My Husband and I will definitely come back soon.
Much better years ago. The Michelin star just caused prices to go way up and food portions down.
Guacamole with chips was good but for $16 was too small. Tacos were a joke. My wife wanted to order a pozole soup which she loves and ate here several times, but went up from about $14 to $22. So she chose some tacos. Two insanely small and bland tacos for $17. There is a food truck one block away which you can get a taco for 1/4 price and ten times better. Sangria was so so.
Very dissapointed, not coming back!
Delicious food, great service.
My friends raved about the dishes with mole sauce, but can't say the tacos I had blew me away. Service was pretty average. Our waiter had to be reminded a couple of times to take a friend's drink order.
Amazing food and really good value. Drinks are also good, but the restaurant could get a better wine list.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Exceptional service, extremely professional, great atmosphere. Food was outstanding
