Chef de cuisine Sergio Chierego honors the culinary heritage of the Campania region, with seasonal ingredients that closely resemble the sun-kissed produce harvested at the Iaccarino family’s farm. Fresh, handmade pastas create an edible narrative of the Iaccarino legacy, while whimsical desserts transport guests to Naples’ nostalgic bakeries.

beautiful space. sadly there is nothing to eat. I had the pork which had the consistency of meatloaf but without the seasoning. my friend pasta with very little sauce and no flavor

Everything was perfect from the drinks at the bar and friendly bar staff to our amazing food (best Neapolitan pizza ever). The service here was outstanding. Always there but not hovering and food came very quickly. Can’t wait to go back

The entire experience was wonderful, our server gave us a tour of the new restaurant, explained the menu and history of the partnership. Loved the ambiance and food was delicious - cod and potatoes dish took us back to our trip to the Amalfi coast. Andrew was excellent host, plan to try the pizzas for lunch. Finally a great Italian restaurant option in St. Louis! Cheers!!

We had a fabulous breakfast here on Easter Sunday morning. Our favorite server, Josie, was back and we met the new staff as well. The service was exceptional and the food was delightful. You also need to try their special coffee drinks. The coffee is imported from Italy.

We had an amazing dinner and our server, Ebony went above and beyond to make our night out special. The food was delicious -flavorful, fresh and unique. We will definitely go back soon! The staff was extremely friendly.

Ok well it took 20 min to get a drink. The carpaccio and the Tuna tartar were excellent. The lasagna was luke warm but excellent. The chicken cacciatore was terrible, chicken was very dry. The ambiance is not very good as the place is beautiful but it's so bright that we felt is was like eating at Vegas buffet.

Awesome experience, but food can be better and I am expecting over time it will be. The sauces were great, but my fish was a little fishy and chicken was not of the taste I would expect from a restaurant of Don Alfonso category. Will definitely return to see its growth

We came to this restaurant with very high hopes based on the publicity and google reviews. However all three in our party were disappointed in the overall experience and the quality of the food. On the plus side the ambience is bright and inviting. The bread and olive oil were very flavorful and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. However, we waited extra long for our cocktails and bottle of wine. The food was mediocre starting with the fritto misto and then the main courses. One of us ordered a pasta with lobster that was covered in broccoli puree with hardly any lobster. The flavors did not work well together at all. The other dishes we all agreed were just okay without much flavor.
I truly hope the food and service improves as time goes by.

Exceptional service, the room is beautiful, the food was some of the best we've had in St. Louis. It is a bit noisy and the spacing at the tables is too much which made conversation a little challenging (if you turn your head and speak, some cannot hear). The "sofas" need to be pushed closer to the table. All around excellent experience.

I was very excited to experience food created by a Michelin level chef but I have to say the food was less than I expected. We had two pastas that were very average and I thought the hand made pasta was lacking in both texture and flavor although I did enjoy the citrus oil in the shrimp tagliatelle. The parma and melon appetizer was delicious and all of our cocktails were a step above average with beautiful fresh herbs enhancing the aroma and taste of each one. The complimentary bread was truly delicious - my favorite bite of the day.
We were celebrating an anniversary and it was not acknowledged other than with a hand signed postcard attached to the bill. Not a fan!
I will go back to the bar for cocktails and pizza but a $200 brunch requires a little more finesse and wow factor.

We were guests at the hotel and made a reservation for breakfast since we couldn’t get one for dinner. It took 45 minutes to get our breakfast and it was basic and not hot. No apologies, no nothing. We had to ask for our coffee to be refilled. It was disappointing given the limited capacity and there were a ton of staff working that morning.

Wonderful experience overall. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, ambiance was fantastic. Farmer's Board was amazing and so much bigger than expected. The pizzas were incredible and are plenty big to share. The only critique was the server station being open-air and hearing plates and silverware crashing throughout the meal and the congregation of staff in that area. Looking forward to a future visit!

Casa Don Alfonso is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for bringing the Sorrento Coast to St Louis, MO in an elegant package. We were there opening day, March 21 2021. Absolutely outstanding all-around, from the friendly maitre’d and waitstaff, to the engaging, warm and welcoming Mario (Iaccarino, owner) and Sergio (Chierego, chef de cuisine), to the beautiful space, and the delicious food. We had the burrata, maccheroni gratin, and margherita pizza, all excellent. The fresh ingredients made these dishes radiant and the details elevate them: the intensely flavored pesto in the burrata; the perfect creaminess of the bechamel and seared edges of the maccheroni; the oh-so-light pizza crust, where the cornicione is a delightful softly-crunchy on the outside and lightly-doughy inside. Casa Don Alfonso is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for bringing the Sorrento Coast to St Louis, MO in an elegant package.

We had breakfast. It took 15 minutes to get coffee in a virtually empty restaurant. It took over an hour to get all of our food. It was the first day open, but it was a disorganized mess. 7-8 employees huddle together doing nothing. I'd estimate 30 staff members were present and it still too over an hour to get our BREAKFAST. They were clearly not ready to open for the public. We'll get them another shot in a few months, likely for dinner. We love the Ritz Carlton in STL and their food service is normally great. They probably needed a little more training before opening.
