Excellent experience! Drinks were amazing I had the pina exotica. Food was on point, my husband and I had the lambi (conch) in garlic sauce and my friend had the fillet snapper. Will definitely make this a regular place to dine at. Thank you so much! Free valet parking around the corner so no need to stress about parking!!

Waiters were very rude and unprofessional, they brought our table dip with no chips, walked away from me in the middle of an order, and passed me a hot plate directly in my hand instead of on the table, and the list goes on and on. Bought incorrect and incomplete orders most of the time, however, the actual food was pretty delicious, albeit ridiculously overpriced.

It was 80 degrees so we wanted to dine indoors. The outside seating is a party atmosphere-hookah, loud music etc. since I was on a date we dined indoors to hear each other. Indoors the place is beautiful! Lightning, statues the works. Ac was marvelous and the music was low. The waiter was nice enough but didn’t try too hard (tip is automatically included-almost 20 by for what? He took our orders and brought us the bill…) now to the main event the food- super bland! We ordered the seafood parillada for two and I had to request salt and butter to have some kind of flavor. It was literally plain seafood sautéed in a wok type of pan. Needed garlic, salt and other seasonings. The drinks were good we had a basic piña colada and a henny colada-not bad. We ordered a side of tostones which were good as well. But if I wanted good tostones and colada drinks I would’ve hit up City Island. Overall, it’s a nice date or party place to take some IG worthy pictures and that’s it. I’ve lived in the area all my life and seen so many places in this location come and go. I spoke to the manager about my experience and I don’t know if he’ll take my review into account but I wish them the best of luck!

The shrimp cocktail isn't what I'm normally used to with its cocktail sauce. This one had a different sauce that I did not like and the shrimp just wasn't good. I also ordered the spinach crab dip and that wasn't good either. I have had better. My mom had the whole red snapper and thankfully it was really good. They lack good customer service and I'm assuming it is because they automatically add the gratuity on the bill. They obviously don't have to work to their best of their ability or just be attentive to their assigned table to earn a nice tip because it's automatically included. My waitress never came back after she brought all of our food and I was trying to get anyone's attention so they can bring us some salt and pepper, and fill up our glasses with water. There was one waiter who I thought saw me waving my hand, but he actually went to the table next to us and didn't even look my way. Maybe he really didn't see me, I really don't know, but they definitely have to step up their game. I'm sure if the gratuity wasn't automatically included on the bill, they wouldn't slack the way they do.

Although we’re still battling a pandemic the vibe was exceptional. Amazing setup went with a group of 5 the food was so delicious the staff equally amazing. Will definitely come back.

It was my boyfriend’s 25th birthday, food was kinda cold when it came out but understood as to why because it was a group of 8 and they brang our food at the same time . Drinks were good could’ve been stronger . Hookah was good and cheap . My boyfriend enjoyed his night THATS all that mattered

The rice was so hard and thick I slapped it and it kinda just jiggled , the sauces they gave me for the taco the waitress didn’t know the name but it was red cause me to have an allergic reaction and my tongue broke out into red little bumps and my lips started itching . The mashed potatoes tasted like air. It was like box mashed potatoes but with kk butter or salt. The tacos had cold season less shrimp like it was from a shrimp cocktail and it had relish on the taco for some reason. The drinks came half full and my friend had more j her cup than mine. What else. We didn’t get a straw and the waitress finally brought us some that we asked for when we were a sip away from finishing our drink. The whole experience was just terrible . The only decent thing I had was the grilled shrimp everything else was terrible.

This restaurant is way too over priced for the quality of food. The food does not taste good and there are absurd prices for it. I paid $14 for a small plastic cup of a pina collada. The music is way too loud, you cannot even hear the people you are at the table with. I would not recommend to anyone. Gratuity is also automatically included, and it is 18%, when you barely get any service.

Maybe I'm cut from a different cloth but where are the restaurants that do not include the hookah while food is being served. Music was extremely loud had to yell across to my partner to even have a conversation. I had the chicken croquettes and the crab empanadas as an appetizer and im so glad I did as it was the only decent thing we ate. My partner and I ordered the parrillada for two and it was over cooked and bland. The only thing cooked properly on that platter was the shrimp and still BLAND. We ended up taking our food home to try and salvage it. Truly disappointed with this dining experience however if you are into hookah,subpar drinks and mediocre food then this is the place for you.

Go for the food ! Fresh seafood complimented by delicious appetizers. Portions were great and I have left over paella for days ! Drinks-ok. We visited July 2020 with outdoor seating due to COVID. Even though we made reservations online, it took about 40minutes to get seated and while we called prior to arrival there was no answer. This made sense because the place was packed and they were quite busy. The wait staff were always masked but I don’t believe tables were actually 6ft apart and they allowed the use of hookahs. I would say keep this in mind if you’re super concerned about being in close spaces amidst COVID. I was ok with it. Otherwise, though busy the staff was accommodating and attentive enough. And as I started the review- Go for the food ! You will not be disappointed!

My parents were celebrating their 41st Anniversary. We had a great experience overall at “Casa Del Mar”. The service was excellent, nice music and delicious food. I highly recommend anyone to dine at this restaurant.

I imagine that this place is better on less busy nights. Our ceviche was excellent, but the paella was just “okay.” It was supposed to include lobster but, instead, had an excess of calimari. The desserts (flan & cheesecake) were great. Service was spotty & they seemed understaffed for graduation/Mother’s Day weekend.
