Our waitress was so sweet, accommodating, and knowledgeable of the menu. Our food was served quickly and hot. Delicious! Gratuity is already figured in to the total. We were aware of this prior to visiting but we were also told prior to ordering. We will return in the future!

We went to celebrate a double birthday celebration of my two granddaughters. The food was disappointing, service was terrible and the price way out of line with its quality. Will NOT return.

The food didn’t warrant the price. We drove over an hour to try this place out. The service was slow, the waitress didn’t bring extra waters or chips (which were unlimited because we paid for them) and when it was time to pay, we still didn’t have more chips and refills. It was really upsetting that they add an auto 20% tip to their bill which doesn’t encourage the staff to actually care and put in good work. We legit didn’t see our server for almost 15 minutes at one point

This is really medium grade food package with a very nice setting. I am not impressed with food quality, the service, the drinks nor the value. It’s a great setting but that’s where above average ratings end.

The food was delicious and the service was good. However, it was the first time I had ever been in a restaurant where the seating determines whether or not you get the "Happy Hour" price. I did not want to sit at bar seating and preferred to sit at a table for dinner. So I paid full price for my margarita. Not sure if I will return.

Lunch was excellent - and so was the service. Anjali was our waitress and she took great care of us. We had empanadas, a quesadilla and the shrimp tostada. We're looking forward to going back again soon.

Server was very disrespectful, the management helped assist us and overall enjoyed the rest of the night, the food was great and the restaurant is amazing but remember there’s a required 20% tip which I did not know about before coming.

If you are we going to put a mandatory 20% service charge on the bill, then I think it’s reasonable to expect above average service. It appeared they may have been understaffed. Drinks came at the same time as entrees and I asked the person who delivered the dinners to bring more chips but they never came.

Prices are outrageous for the food. Server was terrible. Ask her 4 times to fill up my water and never did. The price for a supposed giant margarita $25 dollars. The giant margarita is the average small size at a Mexican restaurant. The cheese dip had a hair in it. Nice restaurant just terrible menu and food is average for the price. Once and done for us.

The food at Casa del Barco was delicious. Not only did it taste great but looked good too. The service was OK - wait staff took our order, another person delivered our food and we saw our waiter only once when he checked in on us and at the end when we asked for the bill. The atmosphere was good - lots of people but not noisy. The place was clean with a stylish decor. I highly recommend it.

Had a reservation for 10pm. Arrived on time at 9:55. Waited about 10 minutes and was seated. Get seated and was told by our waitress that the kitchen was closed but if we wanted food we could hurry up and put in an order. Why take a reservation for this time if your kitchen is closed. Ordered the chicken empanadas but when they came out it was mushrooms which I don’t eat. I told the waitress about it and informed her that luckily I have my epi pen. Ordered drinks which were good but wanted a second drink and the time was now 10:27 and could not get a second drink. Again why take a reservation for 10pm if we were not even going to have 30 mins to enjoy ourselves. The food was bland and cold. Had tacos and Mexican rice which the rice has absolutely no flavor and the tacos were just thrown together. Altogether the meal and experience was beyond mediocre.

We went for Cinco de Mayo during happy hour. We asked the waitress about HH to which she replied that HH was only offered at the bar. She provided us the option to go to the bar to grab a drink and come back to our seats. We ending up being okay with that and still has intentions of staying. About 10 minutes later, the manager(I’m assuming) came over to let us know, with an attitude stating “HH is only at the bar and if you get up out of your seat, I WILL give your table away, I’m letting you know now.” All of the hostility was not needed as we never even asked for a manager and had had intentions on still being customers. After that scenario, we ended up walking out. I will not be spoken to that way as an adult as I never once raised my voice to anyone there.

Adding the 20% gratuities left a sour taste in my mouth. Our waitress took our drink orders and we were missing a drink. Had to remind her and they brought it eventually. Mean time ordered apps and main entrees. We ended up short a street corn and I told her and she never brought it. We did get charged for it. She never refilled our waters or cleared the table for desert time. We had piles of dishes on the table without a place to sit and enjoy the desert. Adding a gratuity is ok if you are still planning on doing your job. I’m always generous while tipping but the waitress didn’t do the main functions of her job. Won’t be back.

Honestly, the food just wasn’t very good for anyone at our table which was a bummer because it was my birthday. The wait staff was not super attentive and we had to ask for the same thing twice and never got it. I wanted to like it here, but I don’t think we’ll be going back.

They implemented a 20% service fee so servers had no in incentive to actually serve. Multiple tables were frustrated and had to bring the manager over to correct their bill or get their check since the waitress was MIA. Spent $90 for 4 people and food was average. I likely wouldn’t return.

The food was average. The service was slow and the restaurant was not crowded. Our waitress did not check on us nor the other tables near us. A fellow diner got up and took silverware off of another table because they weren’t given any and the waitress never came to check on them. The restaurant has a policy of charging a 20% service fee, which would be fine, except it seemed to make our waitress not feel that she had to check in with us. When the waitress came to bring us our bill, she asked if we wanted to add a tip to our total. We asked her “is the 20% service fee not a tip? Do you not get it?” She admitted that it was a tip, but had we not been paying attention, we would have been charged twice for a tip. A below average experience and for the price, we can and will do better in the future.
