Join us for a culinary experience from Chef Dani García, a 3-starred Michelin chef and winner of the Bib Gourmand 2015, comes a new fine-dining concept at Manhattan West. Translating to Dani's House, the name is derived from southern Spain's tradition of naming small family restaurants as if they were the Chef's home, which is precisely Chef García's intention: opening the doors to his house through avant-garde cuisine and a menu featuring items inspired by Spain's Mediterranean south. One of Spain's most internationally renowned chefs, García's culinary style mixes surprising flavors and textures through inventive tapas and entrees centered around seafood and fresh produce, served in an airy and modern dining room perfect for intimate dinners and group dining.

Bread and wine service could have been improved; however, the food is excellent, unique and delicious. If they'd consider fewer small round table for two, that don't accommodate all the small plates, and lower the noise level, we'd be delighted.

Tasteless food, bland. If you close your eyes, can’t tell the difference between dishes by taste. Worst Paella we ever had. Service is mediocre. They even said they don’t have butter when requested for kids bread. Good ambience, costly, have to come home and eat dinner.

The staffs were great, super nice and friendly. Food was meh, we ordered 5 tapas and dessert. I could not taste cilantro in Tuna Belly. It felt slightly luke warm, not good for a raw fish. Oxtail Brioche was ok Tsangurro was too sweet for me There was too much sauce in Patatas Bravas, and the balance of sweet + sour + spicy was off for me Jamon croquet was too salty and not crispy. Flan was ok

We had heard that it was the best Spanish restaurant in NYC. It was a disappointment. We had a table of 4 and ordered appetizers and a bottle of wine . The first 2 appetizers came on time and were good. The last 2 took a very long time. We also ordered 2 paellas one seafood another vegetarian and another bottle of wine. The seafood paella was AWFUL, the shrimp was over cooked mushy and almost cold. We complained and the answer was they are SPECIAL shrimps. Terrible experience. The second bottle of wine took for ever to appear after asking for it a couple of times Please avoid this restaurant at all cost

We were very disappointed to learn that the tuna and most of the fish was sold out and didn’t expect that. It was the whole reason why we went and ended up paying for a very mediocre cod The sauce was also super fishy

Nice new tapas restaurant in Hudson Yards. Mostly a post-work crowd with a good vibe. Creative cocktails and our waitress was great. Tapas were innovative including creative spins on more traditional tapas which resulted in a few surprises since those 'spins' weren't clear from the menu. The octopus was awesome. Overall a pleasant dining experience; only disappointment was that paellas are all for at least 3 people and there aren't smaller serve options. Not being able to access from the street entrance and needing to enter through what is essentially a food court caused some apprehension at first but it worked out ok.

Cuisine was excellent, a true authentic Spanish Mediterranean selection. Portions could be a little bit more generous ... they were tasty; it makes you want more at least! Will highly recommend this place for my friends looking for new places to dine in the city.

I am a spaniard living in NYC. I am glad that after 13 years in the city we have finally found an spanish restaurant that make you feel like home. The food is the best spanish food I ever taste, the place is so well decorated and the service is incredible. Don't doubt going there to have a real spanish cuisine experience. Try the tuna croquetas, the ensaladilla con huevos, the patatas bravas, the paella!!! Everything is so delicious! Thank you Dani Garcia for making us feel like home outside Spain!

I booked this restaurant after quickly reading a review in the Times - that was a mistake. Had I read more carefully, I would have discerned the reviewer's very real issues with the service. We dined on a Saturday night, probably another mistake. We ordered cocktails and starters - the food came out almost instantaneously, the drinks took an hour. I'm not saying an hour for dramatic effect, we were seated at 7:30 and the drinks arrived at 8:30. While we were waiting we ordered entrees because we were afraid they might take forever too. To his credit, the waiter held some of the appetizers until we were served our cocktails but that just messed up the timing of the rest of the meal. Once the last appetizers were cleared, the entrees arrived immediately. They were all lukewarm. Clearly they had been sitting waiting for the appetizers and drinks to finally be concluded. It's a shame because most of the food is very good but the timing of everything was so abysmal it ruined the meal. The one thing on the menu I would say to avoid, should you decide to brave the service issues, is the bacalao. It's a very bland piece of cod doused in a bland, gloppy white sauce. Shame on the New York Times for not featuring the service issues more prominently in the review and leaving that for the last paragraph. And shame on me for not reading more throughly, it won't happen again.

Terrible service but food was decent. We arrived at 7:46 for our 7:30 reservation and was told our table was cancelled after being 15 mins late and was no longer available (after just 1 mins pass the cutoff line). Our cocktails took 25 mins to come after we were already done with 4 of our tapas. Waiter also forgot our tapas orders. Food was delicious just unfortunate that the service was so poor.

Terrible service. We finished all entrees before them being able to bring the wine. They missed one entree. We asked for it twice and never came (but was added to the bill and later corrected). Difficult to get attention to your server. Guys in table next to ours complained that food kept coming coming before them able to finish previous dishes. Ambience is not good, entrance through a deserted mall and they do not even have their own bathrooms but the ones of the mall. Food is good but no what one should expect. Presa was excellent but morrillo only average. Ensaladilla definitely not good… croquetas again were good. Much better options in NY for Spanish food.
