Lovely warm greeting, our reservation resulted in being seated immediately although the place was packed, was food freaking delicious as always. The Bahia seafood stew is amazing, has a ton of fish in it, and the sauce is worth drinking (not that I did). The delicious sautéed riced cauliflower is a perfect alternative to white rice for those avoiding carbs. The calamari appetizer with lime and house-made hot sauce was wonderful. I love this restaurant.
I love Casa every time I go. The food is great, the service is great, the ambiance is perfect. I highly recommend!
They always serve tasty traditional food. My favorite is a Beef Stroganoff and Feijoada.
What a great find. Casa is a very quiet space. the food was great. We had the octopus salad which was really tasty. The grilled zuchini with garlic was amazing. The chicken appetizer was also great, really well seasoned. The only dish that wasn't our favorite were the empanda's.
the only otnher thing to know is the wine list isn't that extensive.
This is a neighborhood favorite! Intimate space, but able to handle groups of up to 6 or 8. If larger, I'd consider renting the whole space. The food is consistently great and there is a warm and friendly vibe: ) Good for a date or a little gathering. Feels like being with family and friends. I highly recommend.
Food was not as good as it was when I first went 2 years ago.
Service was sloooooooow.
A nice cozy place in Greenwich Village. Flavorful Brazilian dishes, nice selection of wines and drinks.
The flan was yummy.
always a great place with the food being always amazing and being from Brazil I can say one of the top Brazilian restaurants in NYC
This is hands down one of my favorite spots in the West village. Amazing traditional Brazilian foods!
The Brazilian national dish is not to be missed! It combines textures, colors and flavors that are unusual in American food. We loved the other dishes as well as the service. Vegetarian friendly.
Terrible service, mediocre/expensive food, will definitely not be returning!
I love Casa. The staff is super nice and the food is delicious.
This place is a neighborhood gem that never disappoints, great food & drink, warm people. While I have a couple of standing favorites on the regular menu (Moqueca de Peixe & Feijoada), it pays to listen: our server mentioned a special I just couldn't pass up: an octopus-only moqueca that was outstanding. Also, I cannot resist the passionfruit & lime caipirinhas.
I went to Casa Brazilian with my girlfriend for her birthday. This place did not disappoint.
The restaurant is small in size but has a cute atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Willing to answer questions on the menu and the food items. Though we didn't need any help (my girlfriend's father grew up in Brazil) the couple next to us did have a lot of questions not only on what certain items were, but how they were prepared. It appeared they had some dietary restrictions and the restaurant was willing to do what they could to accommodate. The waitress was very patient and even went back to the kitchen to ask the chefs if it was possible to make some alterations to how they made certain dishes (i.e. substitute butter with olive oil).
The food was also great. We got the Pao de Queijo (cheese bread) to start which came out warm and soft. For main course I had the Filet Mignon which was cooked perfectly (I asked for it medium) and my girlfriend had the Bife Acebolado (thin pan fried steak) which she also loved (I had a taste and can also confirm it was very well cooked). The portions were great filling us both up. We also ordered a couple of Caipirinhas which tasted fresh (also not watered down which was great).
Overall, we were both very content and do plan on going back again. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Too much noise and too expensive but the food is very good !
Excellent food, superlative service. Seating is a bit tight.
Always great friendly staff wonderful food a little pricey cozy ambiance
It was our 6th time in this Village-gem! It’s one of my favorite in the neighborhood.
The food is authentically Brazilian and the waiters and waitresses always nice and friendly. Caipirinha was good, although they should have a bigger variety of fruits, in my opinion. Pudim de leite was over cooked this time, but still tasty!
Excellent Brazilian food in a lively atmosphere on a Saturday night.
A little so so. The foods lacks in taste. Okay but just adequate.
This fine and fun establishment still survives after years of solid performance with a perfected menu and some of the most reliable dishes in the West Village. Excellent service, careful preparation of every dish my dinner companions and I have ever ordered, Casa is a rock on Bedford that never fails to please in almost every way. If only there were a way to reduce the noise level. It is a great incentive to make reservations for earlier in the evening before the howling partiers descend on the place to snap pictures of one another over a couple of appetizers and lots of alcohol. So go later at your own risk.
A jazzy Brazilian experience; my girlfriend and I had dinner here and enjoyed the selection of boss’s nova tunes while eating authentic Brazilian food. The interior was clean and romantic and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed my time at casa and would return again.
Beautiful place, cozy, inviting, a real gem. The ambiance was fantastic and the music in the background was just perfect. I look forward to coming back again. I absolutely loved it.
This is one of my top five restaurants in NYC. The food is incredible. I bring anyone here who I want to impress. Unfortunately it gets cacophonous when it is full, but at least their music is kept low (or do they even play music? I can't remember, which is a good sign)
Food & service at Casa are always outstanding!!! The caldinho de feijão and the stroganoff of alcatra are SO good!
Appetizers and Stroganoff was great. The picanha tasted a bit off (maybe it was frozen and defrosted or temp control was off) it tasted as such.
I hadn’t been to Casa in many years. With all that has changed around it, I was so happy to bring a friend and enjoy some of the same food and delicious drinks. The staff is professional and friendly. I still love this place
A beautiful, quaint restaurant in the west village. Great ambiance, delicious food, and fantastic service.
Excellent food, great ambiance, and awesome service.
Always a great experience. Highly recommend.
I would recommend Casa Brazilian to a friend. The food was excellent, the ambiance is classic West Village. The staff could have been friendlier. Would give it another shot!
Very nice atmosphere. The food is good, interesting wine list as well. However the portion size of the appetizers was very small.
The food is delicious but somewhat slow to arrive. The place is tiny so what's taking so long is not made clear but it was generally worth it.
So intimate and warm. Food amazing. Staff lovely.
Legit Brazilian. Delicious. Feels like home. Highly recommend!
The ambiance of Casa was so cozy and comfortable, felt like you were in a home. The service was pleasant and always there. The food was delicious definitely authentic Brazilian food!
Had passion fruit caipirinha, pasteizinhos, and the feijoada- best in the city!
Romantic and delicious. Recommend for sure!
Homey neighborhood feel. Great for a dinner with friends or date night. Food is so delishious and unique. I’ve been multiple times and it always leave me happy!
Great place, nice people, best feijoada in NYC. I’ve been going there for years and have never been disappointed.
