Casa Restaurant serves Brazilian home cooking from different regions of this vast country. Being a delicious seafood moqueca from Bahia in the northeast or a dish made with organic chicken and okra from the state of Minas Gerais or the national dish of Brazil, the feijoada, a stew of prime meats and black beans with many little dishes on the side. The caipirinha (kai peh ree nha), the national drink of Brazil, comes in the original flavor of lime or in tropical variations such as passion fruit, cashew fruit and coconut. The desserts are all made in house daily and the Brazilian chocolate bonbons, the brigadeiros, are a Brazilian's favorite!

Casa was excellent, as always. I've been coming here for years, and am always reminded how great it is each time I go! The food is amazing, the drinks are fantastic, and the service is always super friendly. I would go here every week if I could!

What a find! I can’t believe that I had not come across this restaurant in all the years of its existence. Grateful that I know of it now. So much so, that we were going to another restaurant to celebrate my husband‘s birthday belatedly (waited to complete vaccinations for the entire group) next weekend with a few friends and have changed the reservation to return to Casa Brazilian. Can’t wait!

My husband LOVES Casa. When I want to make him happy, I just need to click and make a reservation here! He lived in Brazil several years ago and says that Casa offers the original Brazilian cuisine that reminds him of his past experience. The hosts are all very very very nice, very gentle, very caring of their guests. We're both vegan and we definitely appreciate that Casa offers a Vegan Feijoada option, that is, on top, extremely delicious. I am personally a bread lover, so I could go ahead hours and hours eating their pao de queijo and sipping my caipirinha de maracuja. Lovely place, sometimes a bit loud (it depends on the guests, of course), very cozy. Suggested mostly for dates or very small groups of friends.

The food was great. However, the service was disappointing. We arrived and we're told we might have to move to a new table at 9pm, no problem we understood what we were getting into. Our meal arrived and I kid you not every 5 minutes someone from the wait staff would check if we were done, seemed they needed a table to seat more people. We ended up leaving early.

Casa never disappoints! The seafood stew is out of this world and I CRAVE it! Close second is the pork chop. The restaurant is also on arguably the prettiest corner in all Manhattan. It will easily become one of your favorite restaurants in the city!

We had a reservation and arrived 10 mins early, but still weren't seated until 20 min after our reservation start time. No one came and took our order until nearly an hour after we were seated and staff was barely apologetic about it. Food was good, but hardly worth the overpriced bill and terrible service we got. 2/5 only because the food was good, otherwise this place would be a 1-star. never coming back.

Food was great. Service was not good. The manager was yelling at our server in front of us, and we were rushed at the end of our experience to accommodate new guests. The music kept going out, and we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to our table with water/bread. Bummer on the service because the food was very good.

The food was good quality and flavourful. However, having spent much time in Brazil, I felt the portion sizes were very small and that it was overpriced. The staff serving were friendly but disorganised. On arriving at the door, members of staff passed by and ignored me for 5 mins. I then engaged a member of staff, and three independent staff members asked for my name, over the course of a 5 min period to initiate the reservation. Though I'd booked an indoor table, there were no free indoor tables so I was seated outside and told it's 'warm and cozy' in a makeshift glass shed. In reality I was freezing. There was also no music at first, though to their credit they then started playing some eventually, and brought in a lighted candle (which I used mostly for warmth). Although I felt positive vibes here, there is much room for improvement.

The food and caipirinhas were excellent! Very delicious. The outdoor dining experience was not bad. We went on a cold day and weren’t completely warmed by the heat lamps. But the food and drinks more than made up for it. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t!!

Casa is a great place and they have created a very nice outdoor dining structure. Food and service is always great although the service was a bit slow on our last two visits, chalk it up to being on Brazilian time!

We had been Here for drinks in the past and wanted to try Brazilian (not steakhouse) food. The dinner was very good and the cashew fruit Capharina superb Service was spotty but then they are spread out around the street corner and it was very busy. Happy to see that!

Casa is the most authentic Brasilian cuisine outside of Brasil. All drinks and dishes are made in the tradition of the region. Feijoada and Moqueca are outstanding! Highly recommend for anyone that wants true native dishes, not the overpriced rodizio restaurants.
