Casa Bella is an Italian restaurant in Denville that provides for a rich, authentic experience. In addition to a luxurious atmosphere indoors, there is also a deck with a view of Arrowhead Lake for al fresco dining. Even the deck has a luxurious feel with subtle white lights and flowering plants for a welcoming feeling. The Casa Bella menu includes cold and hot antipasti, soups, salads, pasta, meat dishes and vegetarian options. There are also light fare menu options. The wine list includes house wines by the glass, half carafe, carafe or 1.5 liter, as well as special wines by the glass or bottle and some half bottle wine options as well. Casa Bella also offers off-site catering services and can cater both corporate and social events.

    We had a 5:30pm reservation on a Monday and were seated quickly. Other than the hostess, the service was terrible and the food was a bit disappointing. One appetizer was order, the Burrata appetizer which was delicious but too small to share amoung four people. Four entrees were ordered: Tortellini Casa Bella, Chicken Marsala, Beef Barolo and Chilean Sea Bass special. Tortellini dish was delicious; was a bit disappointed when we asked for fresh parmigiana cheese but it never came. Chicken Marsala was terrible; the sauce was more like a broth and had very little taste and the potato that accompanied it wasn't fully cooked. Beef Barolo was overcooked, asked for medium-rare and it came medium/medium well, very little pink on the inside and again, the potato that accompanied it wasn't fully cooked. Chilean Sea Bass was good at best but extremely salty. Our waiter(s) were never anywhere to be found. We had to ask the hostess, who was stationed directly behind our table, if we could see the dessert menu. We waited 20 minutes before we had to ask the hostess to send a waiter over so we can order dessert and coffee. We ordered two desserts only to find out 10 minutes later, they were sold out so we ordered the NY Cheesecake and a chocolate lava cake. The cheesecake had very bitter cherry topping (which was not indicated on the menu) and the lava cake…well, had no lava! Ordered coffee, hot tea and a cappuccino. Tea was hot, cappuccino was warm and the coffee ended up being cold by the time we got the milk and sugar, which we had to ask for three times. Was looking very forward to dining here for a great upscale Italian meal but left frustrated and disappointed. Will not be returning.

    Had a wonderful Fathers day dinner at Casa Bella. Its our favorite special occasion place to go. Food is always good and service is exceptional.

    I expected the food to be more authentic Italian, however, it had a mediocre taste. The lava cake dessert was burnt, however, our waiter took it off the bill. A good place to visit once….

    Fantastic! Great service and delicious food. I had beet and goat cheese salad for appetizer. Chilean sea bass for meal. Decaf cappuccino afterwards. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was Seth McFarland (incognito) and such a gentleman. I can’t find anything to complain about. 🤔

    We had a fabulous late afternoon dinner at Casa Bella! Baked clams were delicious and the drinks as always, on point. My husband chose a special for dinner which he had never ordered there before - Sunday Gravy and it didn't disappoint! All their desserts are wonderful but we love the Tiramisu! As always, the service was top notch and we had an absolutely lovely time! Thanks to Casa Bella!
