Service is always excellent!
I feel the menu is due for an upgrade. With so many restaurants to choose from ... keep classics to hold o to die hard MIlpitas dinners but take it to the next level to bring in new people looking for authentic Mexican food. Maybe focus on a regional delicacy from where the family is from.
I love the art on the wall. Drinks are great and as always the service is a 10 star. I feel it’s time for a few menu tweaks.
Shredded beef Enchiladas California was amazing!
We were seated as scheduled. Waiters were very nice and attentive!! Food was delicious as always!! Our family has been coming here since the 80’s!!

Our friend from CO visited us as she grew up in San Jose. We ordered takeout and loved it. So when our oldest came to visit and wanted Mexican we knew where we wanted to take her and they did not disappoint! You get so much food for your money here. The chicken and cheese enchiladas were wonderful. The chips and salsa are addictive! The margaritas were just right and huge! Service was excellent. They have done an amazing job of converting to outside seating!

The place was pretty sparse - likely due to COVID-19 - so my reservation probably was overkill. As such, no one bothered to check me in and I was initially deemed a “no-show.”
Our server was awesome! He gave us all the time we needed and took good care of us from start to finish. (The bussing staff were a little too anxious to clear the table, in my opinion. Again, in all likelihood because it was very slow and there was not a whole lot for them to do.) Beverage refills were plentiful.
The food was good with decent portions, but nothing that screamed I needed to come back next week. Everything here is consistent. It’s been a staple in the Milpitas community for decades. You won’t be disappointed.
Great food, great margaritas and awesome service. Looking forward to going back soon!
Good food but service needs to be improved. Tostada is soggy. They need to serve it on a separate plate.
