The steak was overcooked and tough. The Caesar salad was small for the price. The Misty Mountain cocktail was delicious.

Our server was fantastic, friendly, helpful and non intrusive but there often enough. The food was very good, nicely presented and large enough. the short rib melted they were so tender! The steak properly done and nice. The OMG onion rings stuffed with duck confit were delicious! For desert both the creme brulee and the salted caramel chocolate and cherries were lovely. The restaurant itself is really nice, open and airy, very large windows overlooking a beautifully landscaped beginning of the golf course. Not to noisy due to the baffled ceiling. Well worth the price.

Another great dinner with friends at Carve. Excellent short ribs, excellent service from Aislinn and we felt appreciated for our return. HIghly recommend the fixed price menu as well. Creme brulee is always a hit. And...oh...the lemon grass martini

I had a great experience at Carve, the extra amuse-bouche and chocolate at the end was a lovely additional surprise to our meal, and each dish was amazing, including the mocktails that we ordered. Would definitely return.

This place has raised the bar considerably for the Campbell River food scene. The noise level was quite loud in the big room but they have a few acoustically protected booths that were very intimate and quiet. A fair amount of attention has been paid to interior design and acoustics. My only criticism is very minor. The dark window film applied to the windows makes the outside appear very dark when indoors and obscures the interior from the exterior. It’s not inviting at all. The restaurant almost appears closed from the exterior. The restaurant could establish a much better connection to the outdoors by removing the dark film on the windows.

A group of 4 of us went, we ordered all different appetizers, mains and desserts. The octopus appetizer was okay, couscous being the best part. The mussels were subpar, the sauce was not very good, we didn’t even eat half of them. Caesar salad was nothing special, and you need a knife to eat it as they just give you whole pieces of lettuce. The service was good, attentive, friendly and professional. I’ve been to Carve 4 times now, none of which have I left feeling impressed. Everything is over priced for what you’re receiving. The menu is limited, and unimaginative.
