Wonderful experience! The food and wine paired very well! The service attentive and great. The food was wonderful...every course!
My favorite local eatery!!! The entire staff treats us like family when we walk in the door.
Food was excellent quality, service was above and beyond. My fiancée and I went for a “date night” and had a great time. We go to a lot of restaurants all over the U.S. and this was a great experience.
Really enjoyed the chicken marsala- as long as you know the blue cheese risotto cakes are very blue cheese forward.
The shrimp dish was amazing, but had to take one point off because they do not list pancetta in the dish- and I cannot eat pork.
Service was attentive. Will definitely try again
Excellent service, delicious cuisine and diverse wine selection. Outside seating is a welcome alternative to dining inside. Staff and management working very hard to provide a safe environment during COVID, yet an enjoyable setting. Pasta is made in house as are the fantastic desserts.
Food was delicious and the wait staff very attentive.
I had the chicken marsala and it was fantastic. The chicken was so tender and flavorful.
Amazing food and service again!! Megan was our server and was on top of everything again!!! Never had to ask for anything. She was a step ahead!
Love, love, love this restaurant. I am so glad they opened near me! Finally a fantastic family Italian restaurant! Kenny the bartender is a character - always make you feel special. Spencer gets to know you so you feel like you are family. Megan and the other staff are wonderful. Their cleaning process looks to be very complete and I feel safe in the environment.
Now for the food. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is full of flavor, fresh and fabulous. We have introduced Caruso's to several other friends and they have also raved about the food.
Chef driven, full bar, nice reasonably priced wine list, indoor and outdoor dining - they are everything you want in a neighborhood Italian restaurant.
Caruso's never fails to amaze. My wife and I have tried almost every dish on the menu and they are all wonderful. If one does stand out above the rest, it has to be the Chicken Marsala. It sits on a Blue Cheese Risotto cake that is out of this world. The Old Fashioned is also a killer for you bourbon drinkers out there. If you want something casual, the Italian Meat pizza is incredible. The saltiness of the meats mixes perfectly with the cheese and sauce. Save room for the desserts. A personal favorite is the donuts with three different dipping sauces.
Caruso’s was excellent. The service was outstanding.
We were pleasantly surprised and have service from someone we enjoyed at a previous restaurant, adding an extra star 😁
I had fig pizza...crust was gluten free..a bit salty for my taste. The chix marsala was better..very tasty and generous portion.
Definitely a new favorite. Looking forward to when they can bring back spaghetti squash noodles as sub for pasta!
First time there and really enjoyed our dinner. Will go back...
Been going to Caruso’s since September and had take out all through the shut-down. The food and service is incredible. All the staff is welcoming and friendly. Best meatballs and Bolognese sauce ever. Also try the mushroom ragu. We highly recommend Caruso’s dining experience and will continue to support this restaurant. Very highly recommended!
Overall great Italian dinner. My girlfriend and I were there on out anniversary and the night was perfect. Very affordable and very delicious. Will be back for a normal occasion.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Caruso. The food and service were excellent! We sat outside on their front porch. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it!
Impeccable dinner and outstanding service!
This was my second time dining at Caruso’s, and it never disappoints! Our waitress was amazing, and all of the working staff made a point to check in on how we were doing. In addition to the top notch service, the food was amazing! The complimentary bread and butter was a perfect starter, and the margherita pizza I ordered was absolute perfection. Thank you to all of the staff for making our meal memorable, while also taking precautions and following proper guidelines during this trying time. We will definitely be back soon! :)
Ambiance wasn't great but that's because we were seated outdoors in the parking lot due to social distancing guidelines. More important, the food was excellent, clearly homemade, and a cut above many other Italian restaurants, especially versus most of the major chains. Service was extremely friendly and attentive.
Food was very good. Fresh ingredients and generous portions. Service was great. Our server Megan was very informative and attentive. Only negative was noise level. There were a few patrons that were very loud and could be heard all over the restaurant. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back again, hopefully it won't be so noisy.
So delicious. Great service. So glad to have this neighborhood gem in Fairfield!
First visit, server guided us after our questions to awesome entrees. Took her recommendation for salad and matching wine selection as well. Great bar setting, very enjoyable. Will return soon.
The overall experience was well above expectations. Even though the parking lot was very full, we were seated immediately. Wait staff was prompt. We never felt rushed, but were well cared for. Food was well presented, and well prepared. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely go again. Just wish it was closer to where I live.
Food was delicious (hubby is still raving about the homemade pasta) and service was great. Everyone was very friendly and Megan took great care of us. We will be back for sure! Save room for the fresh donuts for dessert!
Our second time there In two weeks. Newly discovered this place, and it’s way in the other side of town for us, but work the journey. The owner is super nice too. Came out and chatted with us on both occasions.
Over all it was good, nothing spectacular. I think the salads should be included with the dinners that was a little high to have to pay extra for a side salad. I have the lasagna it was good my husband had the Alfredo he said it was OK.
The food and service were both wonderful. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere as well.
First, service was fantastic, very nice interior with friendly atmosphere. My food was a little salty for my taste, but good flavor. The bread served with delicious. The pasta dishes should come with at least a side salad as part of the dinner. All in all a nice dinner out with my family....a little pricey for pasta though. I will go back however.
The food was delish and the restaurant was really clean. The restrooms were also spotless.
The food and ambiance were surprising great! Authentic Italian food in Fairfield. Who would have thought?
Date night with my hubby!!! It was perfect. We will definitely be back and tell all our friends about our new favorite Italian restaurant!!! The Marsala Bruschetta was amazing.
This place was amazing! Everyone we talked to about this place before going told us great things and the did not disappoint. We're already planning our next trip.
This was our 2nd visit the first visit was a better overall experience & we will I'm sure come back to try again it is much better than the chain Italian.
The special that night was scallops, & they were crusted in too much salt. My wife had the breaded veal it was a little over cooked. With reservations on valentines day weekend we were sat in the bar area & service was a little slow.
Very nice Italian restaurant. Best calamari we have ever had. Food and service was great. We went to test the place, now will take our family.
Service was good, ambience was good, meatball appetizer was good. I didn’t like my entree, the chicken Alfredo had shredded chicken instead of grilled chicken. Felt like I was eating a casserole not chicken Alfredo.
We had reservations on Valentine’s Day. We arrived and were seated promptly. Drinks and bread arrived, first loaf of bread was too hard. We got another loaf which was warmer and softer, yet still had a crunchy crust. Our food was out quickly, hot and prepared right. We opted out of dessert because we were so full. We could have been in and out in 45 minutes...on a Friday AND Valentines Day!! The server was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was more than I would except and would usually pay. Would go back, but not a place I would frequent too often due to the pricing.
Food and Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice. Servers were very attentive.
Good food, and a very friendly atmosphere. The only drawback is the limited menu selections.
Food was great. The sourdough bread was even as good as that is San Francisco!! Will definitely eat there again!
Great food great evening. Ken our server was great. Great fresh local made food
