   Quality food and ambience! Steak was superb! Would definitely recommend and will be back again!

   Booked a table for 1630 to be told on arrival there was only the chicken or vegan wellington roast options available. I wasn’t expecting this limited choice especially after receiving good reviews from friends. Neither of these were suitable for 2 of my party. The waiting staff looked like they didn’t want to be there and this showed in their service. Wasn’t asked if we’d like a second drink! After looking forward to this meal we all left disappointed.

   Another fabulous Sunday lunch. Thoroughly recommend their roasts, great veggie selection, decent gravy and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Treat yourself to the cauliflower cheese too. A perfect neighbourhood gem, thank you Carter & Co.

   Another fabulous Sunday lunch at Carter & Co. Sad to hear others have not had a great experience here, never been the case for us. Absolutely our local neighbourhood treasure.

   Ester lunch ruined. We booked a table to enjoy a family lunch together. Unfortunately, because of the waitress and staff kitchen mistake, we received the food after 90' with people around us arriving after us, eating and leaving. The staff apologize few times without sorting the issue out in a prompt and professional way. They made our Easter day. I don’t raccomend in busy days. It is a shame as the place is really nice!

   Disappointed with the food this time Ordered Tomahawk steak to share. It wasn’t very nice, couldn’t chew quite a bit of it. It was really tough. I pointed this out to the waitress who told me “that’s expected. “ We have eaten the same dish before & it was lovely. I don’t think her response was very good.

   It’s been a couple of months since we’ve been to Carter&Co and unfortunately the Front of House team were not as efficient as the previous team. We had to chase up service as the team were not attentive as we had normally experienced. We might as well have not been there! Sorry but the team lacked customer awareness.
