   Our party of six was expected and well looked after. The food was delicious and the lamb that some of us had was beautifully tender. The provision of transport home afterwards also worked well. We look forward to arranging our next visit.

   The experience, in the unique location of a very well appointed unit within a business park, was very pleasing. We went with very high expectations and these were almost met. We could be ultra critical with regard to the food and ambiance but this would do a disservice to what was an very enjoyable evening. The courtesy taxi home was a very nice touch - given the local taxi service - and was very professional and prompt. The menu offered me such choice that I would be able to return tomorrow and happily choose completely different dishes for all three courses.

   Beautiful venue-a surprise given it’s on an industrial estate! Lovely food, but the mains took a while to arrive. Great to have a fine dining restaurant in Herefordshire. We’ll definitely come again

    I found the Corporate ambiance rather disappointing. Having worked for a Corporate organisation I felt rather on edge on entering the premises. My husband’s starter of Caprese salad was excellent he said but there was hardly anything to eat. I, on the other hand, had a chocolate dessert which was wonderful and there was lots of it. We both had the fillet steak for our main course. We both asked for it to be cooked to medium but both were undercooked to our taste. Overall we didn’t believe this was a truly fine dining experience.

    Taking a good friend of many years (from the Smoke!) to a ‘rural’ restaurant for an eye opener. Did not disappoint as another brilliant evening with great food and wine, and service. Thank you!

    This is a lovely restaurant set in beautiful surroundings. The staff are excellent and service impeccable. From the minute the concierge phones through your arrival to being greeted from the lift by the front of house staff the attention and service is first rate. A good menu with locally sourced ingredients and comprehensive wine list ensure a wonderful dining experience. Would highly recommend

    From the moment we arrived it was an amazing experience. We were welcomed by the carpark attendant and directed to the carpark and then at the door we were met by a member of the restaurant team and guided to our table where our waitress Heidi introduced herself. She was so professional and looked after us from start to finish , nothing was too much trouble a great asset . The atmosphere was casual and relaxed , lovely decor and comfortable seats with a table with linen cloth and serviettes a lovely touch. The food was delicious and plenty of choice. The beef was melt in the mouth the best we had tasted in years and the cod mmmm. A lovely post birthday treat . Thank you for the Prosecco and Birthday plate , a lovely touch . Will definitely dine here again.

    A little gem hidden away in Herefordshire. Stunning venue, friendly,welcoming staff. Food was so well presented and very tasty,prices very reasonable .     I am a returning customer to Carriages so I had an expectation of a lovely evening. I wasn't disappointed. Everything from the food to the service, to the classy music playing just at the right volume was wonderful. I went with my family - grown up kids and husband who all have varying levels of what they might be willing to try, food-wise. The menu isn't large because I know everything is freshly prepared in the kitchens, but there were choices for all of my party. The quality of the food is one of the things that makes the restaurant so special, but the choice of wines and a cocktail menu that again caters for all tastes also gives it a big tick. It was my daughter's birthday and the restaurant manager had devised her a cocktail named after her and a birthday plate arrived after dinner with sweet treats and a chocolate birthday message - amazing! I will keep coming back to this place - fast becoming my restaurant of choice in Hereford for sure...
