Food, service, and ambience were all great. My husband had the ostrich burger and an old fashioned cocktail, and I had the squid ink pasta and wine flight.

Had a great dinner at Carpe Diem's parklet for outdoor dining. The cocktails were delicious, as was the fig flatbread. Service was on point, everything was seamless.

I am a Napa residence and Had never eaten at carpe Diem before. With outdoor dining I was a bit concerned about being in front of the restaurant in the heat. We were across the stree on the sidewalk, it was absolutely beautiful! Food was fantastic and our server was wonderful
Have dined here many times. We were seating outside by the street which I understand with current Napa rules. The service was the worse I’ve ever had there.
We received our cheese plate after our entree ( which took a very long time) No apology or reduction of bill. Server seemed overwhelmed with little personality.

Our server was a very young girl. We walked in with a bottle of champagne & she immediately put it on ice & got our other drinks going. She payed just the right amount of attention to us, great conversation, & was fun. I would definitely go back & ask for her. I cannot remember her name.
The staff is still a little light -to be expected at this point, so am sure Service is better when more e.
The menu provides a decent assortment, and I was told d when business picks up.

What an amazing night! We were greeted by a nice gentleman who seated us and explained the entire food and drink menu thoroughly. He also served and described our wine flights, which allowed us to taste wines from all over the world. From there it got even better - we loved the sound of the specials, but we ended up choosing the truffle short rib ravioli and the ostrich burger. Both were spectacular and we can’t wait to come back next time we visit Napa!
We were excited to try the restaurant, but were disappointed that the menu did not have a lot to offer. Our waitress was super kind and fun so we ordered anyway and made a great night out of it !
I ordered the pork and gnocchi special and paired it with the directors flight of cult red wines and was absolutely fantastic and the server Ezekiel made my visit very enjoyable. I liked the understated and chic decor as well. I will certainly be back to try some other dishes that caught my attention. Oh and you must try the Twix bars for dessert!
We waited an hour and a half for our reservation that had been made a week in advance for a group of 6. The hostess kept telling us the next table was ours or we would have left and went somewhere else. I even offered to go somewhere else for a drink and come back but was again promised we would be seated. Then, they kept somehow bypassing us and seating other people who had later reservations. As a local, we used to always bring our out of town friends here. Never again. Food was pretty good but also not as good as usual and definitely not worth the wait.
Love the happy hour food here. Service was great. We were the only ones in the place at 4pm. Prices are a little high.
Thus is a cute spot to relax for an evening! The stuffed squash blossoms were amazing and so was the grilled Octopus. The staff is super friendly!
This place was just what the doctor ordered after a busy travel and wine-tasting day. Laid back ambiance with awesome wine and cocktail choices, and seriously satisfying, delicious dishes! Easy access and very friendly staff.....would come back again on next trip to wine country!

We wanted to eat an early dinner. The happy hour menu was perfect.
The setting is intimate and nice for a date or friend gathering. The food was delicious but the way in which the server presented the food way somewhat misleading but the food itself was a true culinary delight. Overall, it was a fun and satisfying experience.
Anastasia was awesome and the happy hour menu was such a treat!! Everything I tried was incredible, including the Red Velvet flight. Highly recommend.

It was 7 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was half full, and they ran out of their two most popular dishes, squid ink pasta and hand made ravioli. Really? That early on a popular night and they didn't have two of their most popular dishes? I ordered the scallop risotto instead and it was so bland. It lacked flavor. They must have ran out of seasoning as well. Also ordered the dungeness crab ricotta stuffed fried squash blossoms and charred octopus. The octopus was good. Squash blossoms were okay. After one blossom, I removed the second blossom from its fried cocoon and ate the tiny crab filling inside. The fried shell got too heavy for me and there was hardly any crab. Our server was nice, but once she was tapped to handle the large bridal party in the private room next door we did not see her again, nor did anyone come by to fill in for her. We sat there and waited a long time for our check and water refills. They can do a better job having additional help if the server for our table has to handle a party of 20+ in the room across the hall. Won't be back and won't recommend.
Great atmostphere, great service and the food was phenomenal. (Definitely try the ostridge burger carpe diem.) We'll be back!

We always have a great meal here. ALL the dishes are worth a try, but we are fond of the Carpe Salad and the Short Rib. Great mixology and creative wine list. Jose who manages is awesome,

Great food with served by people who care. We had pastas (ravioli and one other), fried calamari, steak (it was a special), heirloom tomato salad, cheese plate, and homemade twix with gelato for desert. Everything was prepared perfectly, and slightly modified per our requests. Server kept checking on our table to ensure we were satisfied. The restaurant is small enough that we could actually talk across our 4 top and hear each other! Great experience.
The calamari was very greasy and poured into a greasy bowl with a mayonnaise dip. The short ribs were okay, but the carrots in the sauce were burned. The truffle fries also had a greasy dip, which didn't go with the fries. However, the squash soup was excellent as were the scallops. I can't imagine this restaurant will survive much longer unless they make some major changes in the food.
