   This is wonderful family run restaurant . It's smaller and very quaint. The hospitality exceeded our expectations as did the food. The server was able to make almost every entre on the menu Gluten free for me. I chose the delicious lobster risotto which was full of lobster and came also with shrimp on top. It was the best I ever had. The creme brule was so creamy and flavorful. Everything was perfect

   From the moment we sat down at Carpe Diem, we knew we were in for a treat. We started with the Dungeness Crab Arancini — crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful inside, with a touch of lemon aioli that tied it all together beautifully. The Carpe Salad was a standout too: fresh greens, candied pistachios, and Cabernet-soaked cranberries made it both refreshing and indulgent. For my entrée, I had the Chicken Parmesan, and it was everything I hoped for — perfectly breaded, topped with a rich pomodoro sauce, and served over linguine. Classic done right. The wine list is a true gem. From bold Napa Cabs to elegant French whites, there’s something for every palate. I loved seeing so many thoughtful by-the-glass options too. And of course, Maggie made the experience even better. She was attentive, warm, and so knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. Her energy really made us feel welcome. Carpe Diem is a perfect balance of flavor, ambiance, and genuine hospitality. Can’t wait to return!

   I had such a lovely dinner at Carpe Diem! I ordered the 24-hour braised short rib and it was absolutely delicious — so tender and flavorful, it just melted in my mouth. My mom had the diver scallops and she was equally impressed. They were perfectly cooked and paired with such fresh, vibrant ingredients. What really made the night special was our server, Maggie. She was incredible — so kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. She made us feel completely taken care of and her recommendations were spot on. This was my first time dining here and I already can’t wait to come back. Everything from the food to the atmosphere and service was perfect!

   The service was excellent for our Mothers Day Brunch. Our table ordered the crab aranchini, Burrata, and Carpe Salad. All the greens for each plate were esp fresh with the vinaigrette. Our table ordered the Filet mignon, Scallops and Salmon which were all cooked perfectly with some of us doing the wine pairing. We look forward to coming back.

   My wife and I had a fantastic evening at Carpe Diem! We started with a Smoked Old Fashioned — not only was the flavor spot on, but the presentation was absolutely captivating. For our appetizer, we shared the grilled octopus, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had — perfectly tender with bold, vibrant flavors. I ordered the filet mignon, cooked to absolute perfection and paired with a rich, flavorful sauce. Our server, Maggie, suggested a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon to go with it, and she absolutely nailed the pairing. My wife chose the Duck à L'orange — the duck leg confit was incredibly tender, and the seared breast had us both saying “oh my god.” Everything from the service to the ambiance made for a truly memorable night. Highly recommend Carpe Diem — we’ll definitely be back!

    Carpe Diem has been our go to spot in Napa for about 5 years now. Always fabulous food and excellent service. Great ambiance and centrally located. Their specials are to die for - their rib eye and desserts are the best.
