I was extremely disappointed with the “signature” beef cheek ravioli and the bread. I wouldn’t write about it as I’m not keen on writing reviews, but it was way to off from anything that resembles good quality that I felt strongly about letting others know. The steak was great, the ravioli, bread, and side dishes were nasty. Nowhere near the level of quality they should be for this level of dining. Not happy.

From the bread, to the fillet, to the cookies...TERRIBLE, especially for the cost. On par with The Outback - complete waste. Brussel sprouts cold and soggy, fillet was totally average, pasta was terrible, and to top it off the 2 free cookies even taste like card board. This place is a joke.

Outstanding food & service. Restaurant a little dark and like many Las Vegas restaurants, a few too many tables so a little loud.

Great service, ample portion sizes, Saltimbocca was too thin and tough - almost impossible to cut-but tasty. Beef cheek ravioli was like pate. They are renowned for their steaks which looked great on others plates, but too pricey for me. Octopus was exquisite.

This restaurant is meant for someone who wants to spend more than what the meal is worth. Lamb chops are 90% fat and 10% deliciously cooked meat. I really believe Mario would have been disappointed with the meals that the 4 of us were served.

Good service, not entirely on par to the top restaurants. Food was interesting and well prepared overall, porterhouse was a fair amount off from temperature requested. Unfortunate location off casino, we could smell cigarette smoke during dinner. Excessive prices, particularly the wine list and steaks. Good quality, but well above pricing you’ll find at other top restaurants across the country that offer a more complete service experience and better ambiance. It was a nice dining experience, but the sense of value is out of balance.

I would love to be able to write a great review of this restaurant but I cannot. We had great service and most of the food was excellent, but my husband had what was described as a 15 oz strip steak and cost $70. He was the only one that ordered a steak. When the steak arrived, it was on the bone and had not had any of the fat trimmed off of the edges. By the time the bone and fat were cut away, there could not have been more than 5 oz. of meat on the plate. Unfortunately, the taste of the remaining meat was very ordinary, nothing special. It was a complete and total rip off and disappointment. I expected to pay top dollar at what advertises itself as a steak house, and have no issues with anything else on the menu. I stopped by later and asked the hostess to speak with the manager as it was bothering me. She told me he was not available, so I asked her to have him call me, and made sure she had my name and number. No call, so I assume the management does not care that guests are unsatisfied. Let me say that for 4 people out total bill, including tip, was over $450 and I have no other complaints. I don't mind paying top dollar, but I expect top food in return. The steak was pathetic.

Absolutely amazing once again! You cannot go wrong ordering any of their entree's however, I am always partial to their Tomahawk chop. We enjoyed that along with the Brussel Sprouts and ham flavored with apple vier vinegar and their incredible mashed potatoes with soft poached egg on top! Do NOT forget to order their Grilled Octopus for an appetizer! Out of this world!

Very tasty high quality food. Phenomenal food experience and service. My Steak was perfect but one person in our party got very sick from his steak. Price was unreasonable. Only 4 bottles of wine on the menu under $300. All over $100 I believe.

Given two of the biggest names in the culinary world are behind this restaurant, the food was underwhelming. The pork chop milanese was under seasoned, the braised pork shank was very fatty and the filet mignon was not as tender as it should be. The side asparagus, spinanch, eggplant and the potatos could be a little flavorful and more creative. We were glad to try it but will not be returning.

Overall a nice restaurant, four stars. Food and service are as expected for this type of restaurant, but not exceptional. Excellent wine list.

Where CarneVino lost the most points was on ambience; it's hard to feel a true Italian vibe when listening to AC/DC.

Short rib Ragu, decent.
90 day aged Filet Mignon, awesome, one of the best I’ve ever had.
Foie Gras, can’t go wrong there.
Chocolate caramel dessert, very good.

Everything we ordered and was recommended to us was amazing. The octopus dish was so incredible that it overshadowed the steak which is what we originally came for. We will definitely be back!!!

This place is a foodie paradise. I was able to indulge in seasonal white truffles on my beef cheek ravioli. I have an obsession with balsamic vinegar, so they were able to cater to that need as well with their high end product. The staff was well educated on the wines. I will absolutely be coming back.

Decent food but when the menu was presented our server informed us in rapid fire of all the menu items that were unavailable. There were 6-7 dishes that were no longer available at 7:00 pm seating. It was hard to keep track of those plus all of the specials and recommendations that came at us in scripted fashion. Impersonal service.

Planned on eating dinner one night enjoyed it so much came back the next night. The T- Bone pork chop was delicious and the octopus appertizer might be the best of its kind. Reasonable wine choices. Plus service was really excellent our waiter both nights ( our request) was very knowledgeable, personable and attentive . Phoenix one of the wine experts was excellent and helped make us feel welcomed. Highly recommend it to anyone

Came to Carnevino with my wife on our first night in town. Finally got seated for our 9:00 reservation at 9:45 so not a great first impression. However, the food was very good and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others looking for a nice meal, but be prepared to wait if our first experience here is the norm.

Having had a marvelous meal at Carnevino two years ago, I was excited to be returning. The service was still excellent but the food was hit-or-miss. The spaghetti frutta di mare was very spicy and far past al dente, with too much sauce. And the T-bone bistecca alla fiorentina, though ordered medium-rare, was small, almost raw on the strip side and like jerky on the filet side. It tasted rather gamy, as if it had been dry-aged a bit too long, Moreover, the fat on the filet side solidified and left an unpleasant dry & waxy mouthfeel--as if I were eating crayons or candles. For $85 per person, I expected more than half a pound of meat between the two of us. But the rapini was pretty good, and the delicata squash with agrodolce was so sweet & tasty it could have been dessert. (We ordered dessert anyway--a yummy Smores tart with homemade marshmallows).

Food was excellent
Very crowded and loud
Thought we ordered ribeye for 2 for $78 and was charged $156 and told that is the per person charge and have never seen that done in my 52 years on this earth. Was disappointed in that with no apology at all from waiter Diego

My boyfriend and I decided to dine here before seeing the Elton John show and we were not disappointed! The food and service were exceptional. We came in knowing we wanted to order the bone in ribeye and decided to order a few more things recommended to us by our bartender. We ordered the octopus for appetizer and the spago-both were amazing. We would definitely come back again to try other foods on the menu. Next time, we definitely will order the bone in ribeye for two--which was our original plan. The steak was cooked medium rare and it was one of the best steaks we've ever eaten!
