Carnegie Diner & Café offers limited reservations 30% only and 70% walk in. We are brand new and we like to accommodate all of you. Carnegie Diner features an extensive all-day breakfast menu in addition to serving a wide selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, steaks, fresh fish, pastas, desserts and more. All day breakfast items include a Classic Benedict with optional addition of lobster, Avocado Toast, a BLT Quinoa Bowl with chopped bacon and poached eggs, Steak and Eggs, and three eggs any style served with hash browns and bread. There are a dozen types of pancakes, decadent waffles and French Toast offered. The restaurant also features a full page of plant-based options. Lunch and dinner entrees include rib-eye steak, Atlantic salmon, fish n’ chips, shrimp spaghetti and spaghetti carbonara. Desserts include a decadent 24-layer chocolate cake, pies, cupcakes and over-the-top milkshakes to satisfy your sweet tooth.

My friends and I have eaten at this Carnegie Diner before. Access is really great for those with mobility issues. Portions are large - never room for desserts, even a cupcake! All of the servers are very attentive. Highly recommend a reservation if you go at noon as can be very busy.

Everything was great, except as I was entering the front door, my foot slipped off the wheelchair ramp next to the sidewalk and I fell. There is no guard rail, and both the ramp and the sidewalk are made of the same concrete material so they definitely blend into one another. The manager said she was working on having a railing installed to go up the ramp and I suggested a yellow painted line differentiating it from the sidewalk. Just be careful.

The food was good and prepared as requested, and the reserved table was ready. The only issue was it took a very long time for the food to come. I don't know why, and it hasn't been the case in the past.

Long wait though we had reservations. Slow service. Very noisy. We were there for Sunday brunch so maybe another time it would’ve been better.

Nice enough diner, but the food wasn't good enough to warrant the higher price. The Reuben sandwich was underwhelming (soggy bread, bland sauerkraut, fatty meat), the brussel sprouts were undercooked with mushy bacon, and the desserts do not live up to the hype. You can get just as good food at silver diner for less money.

We went for a father-son late lunch or early dinner. Service was excellent. We both ordered chicken sandwiches, which were outstanding. My son had the truffle fries. I indulged on some delicious bacon cheddar fries. I also enjoyed a tasty Happy Hour Margarita on the rocks. We had the best time. Thanks so much!

It was okay. Just okay. It was a busy time at 12:30 on a Saturday I’m sure that had to do with the slowness of the service. Our server was so good though. Kind. My food was cold and for Eggs Bennie that’s not a wonderful bite. I did snag some fries and they were awesome and my husband enjoyed his triple decker turkey Sammie very much. The cake desserts are so decadent and yum. The $5 mimosas made up for everything! I will try again sometime for sure.

I recommend Carnegie Deli and Cafe. Good food, great service, and a delicious 24-layer chocolate cake. Parking was difficult the day I meet three friends for lunch. Waiter said it was unusual to be this busy on a weekday, but it was a federal holiday.
