   Good value. Service was fast. Nice happy hour pricing. Like an old fashion deli with nice murals and paintings to look at. The food was really surprisingly good. We had a grilled chicken sandwich with delicious fries and salad, and a cranberry salad with grilled chicken. They were both delicious. Would go back. Great location on 8th Ave and 50th.

   Here is the same comment I made last week when I was at the restaurant. The food is very good, but the portions are too large. I wish they had an option for small portion since I do not like food waste when there’s so many people suffering from food insecurity

   We eat there a lot. This time everything was good but for a clumsily cleaned up spill in the aisle near we were seated.

   Very tasty burger and fries! The experience, however, could have been improved with a more attentive and committed wait staff. They seemed to simply be going through the motions. No effort to refill water even when asked and while not unfriendly, nor were they engaging. Chipped, plastic glasses not once, but four times were not a highlight. Overall, the food was very good and quite reasonably priced.

   Food terrific, service terrific. Hostess was a little bit pushing us out even though there were LOTS of empty tables and no line.

   The Diner is crowded and everyone has to stand around the reception podium. You have to really listen for your name to be called due to the noise. The food is ok but overpriced. For brunch, the whole table has to order cocktails to get it included with the meal, which in my opinion is a mistake. If it wouldn't have been located right across the street from the theater we needed, we would have picked another place.

    My husband and I had a Greek salad. We both enjoyed it. It is a restaurant to go to for good food and very good service. It is not a restaurant to go to if you want a quiet meal. This restaurant is always crowded
