Food was good with large portions. Service was slow, but mainly because the server seemed to have a lot of tables.

Had a 12:15 reservation but had to wait about 20 minutes for a table which was not ideal because we had theater tickets. My food was very good but my wife’s eggs were under cooked. My son had the exact meal as my wife’s and it was fine. Place was crazy busy and noisy inside. Luckily we sat outside. Won’t recommend this place

Dined here for breakfast and it was so good we returned the next day as well. Country omelette was delicious. Food is plentiful . Host is very welcoming and waitstaff exude positivity. Will return and tell our friends and family!

Made a reservation just over an hour before seeing a Broadway show. Waited for 25 minutes for someone to ask for our drink order. Food was meh, but our server was a nice guy.

If you are expecting this place to be anything at all like the famous Carnegie Deli you will be vastly disappointed. Everything - food, service, seating all sub par. Save yourself the experience and stick with Juniors if you want good corned beef or pastrami.

Waitstaff was excellent. All the food was pretty tasty. I took a chance and ordered the vegan meatballs--they were great! I also had a lentil soup, which was quite hearty. Overall, eating here was a very nice experience.

The food and wait staff were outstanding. What was unusual about this visit is that the hosts, for the first time, made the 2 of us (who are seniors), stand in front of the dessert case to wait until our party was all there before seating us. In the past (we’ve been coming there every time we’re in the city since it opened) we’ve been seated as soon as a table was available so that we could order drinks while we waited a few minutes. There were many tables available that included bench seating, but we had to stand and wait. We were even told by the younger host that three tables with bench seating were being saved for a reservation for a party of 10 (which was proven not to be true). The rest of our party was detained an additional 10 min which made the standing at the counter very awkward. We almost left…
