   Amazing restaurant! Went for a birthday and it was a great experience. Their service was extraordinarily and the food was excellent. We got the oysters and tuna carpaccio which were both great but the wagyu steak was insane in comparison. Amazing portions and what you expect for a steak restaurant. The birthday ice cream was surprisingly amazing, a special take on vanilla ice cream and the flambé was a great experience - they set it on fire right at the table. The drinks were great, loved the gin blackberry one :) definitely for special occasions due to the price but amazing dinner and exactly what you’d hope for when spending that much.

   Booked for thanksgiving dinner. Great food. Large portions for sides. Only comment is that the wine server gave the wine list to the only man at the table and interacted with him only assuming he was the person who would choose the wine. Shouldn’t assume that to be the case.

   Really disappointed with the thanksgiving special. It was extremely overpriced for what you get. It took 15 mins for a waiter to even acknowledge us and pour some warm water in a glass. When you’re spending over $350 on a meal for two, you’d think they put a little more effort in. We got a half assed explanation of the menu. I ordered a medium cooked steak, and I’m pretty sure it came out still mooing. I had a bite and took it home to cook more for the next day. The green beans were moosh and disappointing. To end with some positivity, the door greeter was a doll, and the bartender made a few amazing drinks! Will definitely stick to other boujee restaurants we go to in Nashville.

    First time eating here and would definitely return. Service was impeccable and we never had an empty glass or felt rushed. The sheep milk cheese with honey was a perfect bite for both of us. The bread was probably my husband’s favorite. His filet was cooked to perfection and my short rib ravioli was delicious.

    This was one of the best meals I have had anywhere not just in Nashville. The service was an 11 out if 10 and food the same. There were 4 of us and we had the snapper...awesome, rack of lamb...perfect and filet which my friend said was the best steak she had ever had! The salads are wonderful, fresh, and dressed perfectly. The bread on the table is worth every calorie and carb. The potatoes and broccolini were perfect sides. The prices aren't cheap BUT you will also likely have leftovers because they give you a lot of great food. Four of us split the baked spumoni...wow! Great presentation and taste. One was enough to split. Will be back!!!

    If you're looking for a lively vibe with exquisite cuisine Carne Mare is the place to be. Went on Saturday evening and the joint was jumping! A tad tardy in honoring our dinner reservation time (kinda expected) but the bar scene kept us entertained. The complimentary pull-apart bread was simply incredible (seasoned with garlic, olive oil and parsley). I wanted a second order but didn't want to fill myself up. The Prime Rib 🥩 was prepared perfectly and seasoned well. From the drinks, food, to atmosphere and service I would rate this 10 out of 10 if I could. Thanks Carne Mare for giving us an absolute unforgettable dinner!

    Everything we ordered was 5 stars. Our server was also 5 stars! Gin and Brusco cocktail, lamb bolognese (as a shareable appetizer), and the red snapper were all outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. :)

    Our time at Carne Mare was fine. Given the price tag, I would say that is unacceptable. Our meal took 3 hours in total, the courses were not paced well (especially considering we ordered everything at one time), and we had to remind our server several times to check on a couple of items that we ordered. I imagine this was a fluke and what food we did order was good, but I am not in a hurry to go back.

    AMAZING! Cannot say enough good things about this place! From the servers (Andre and Brandon are top notch people!), the food (Pro tip: ASK FOR THE PAN!!!), to the elegant lighting and atmosphere, this place cannot be beat. Highly recommend the Panna Cotta for dessert…my partner and I could have ordered another one because it was so delicious as well as light. Dreaming about the next night I will be able to partake in this lovely and dreamy restaurant. It’s my new favorite place for date night or really just any occasion.

    First off I want to say this is my 3rd time going. Everything has been amazing up till this trip. It was one of my favorite steak spots in nashville. The steak was more rare then medium. The service level was like I was at chop house. Granted the server was new and working under another server. The sides could have been more favor full the potatoes are like potato wedges I can get from a burger shop and the brocilini had no favor at all. They use to have a really good sides. I will be back but probably not till spring or summer when they change their menu again.

    Service and food were good but the restaurant is very loud. There was a very loud party that made it very difficult to enjoy our meal. Many other patrons also mentioned to us how loud and disruptive they were but I never saw management address the party. I don’t plan to return. Too expensive to not have an enjoyable dinner.

    I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Carne Mare! The ambiance was perfection. The decor, the vibe, all of it. Then we sat down and were introduced to our amazing server, Tracey (apologize for wrong spelling). He was terrific! He went through the entire menu with us as this was our first visit. He told us his favorites, why they were and in great detail. Not only was he professional and knew the menu inside and out, but he was also personable and fun to share the experience with. We had the shrimp cocktail, the potatoes, broccolini and the gouda striploin. I have NEVER had a better steak. I'm not one to usually write reviews, however I couldn't wait to get home to my computer to do so. When in Nashville, don't miss the opportunity to experience dinner here. We will be back, and we will be asking for Tracey!
