Carmine's McGregor Square
Sautéed in a white wine marinara with mushrooms, topped with capocollo ham and melted mozzarella
Boston and arugula, toasted pistachios, fresh sliced pears, gorgonzola cheese, and a pear cider vinaigrette
Three cheese ravioli in a vodka cream sauce topped with arugula and garlic oil
Really enjoyed the experience. Service, food, and atmosphere is perfect especially after Happy Hour at the Square!
Have been here several times and it is always amazing!
We totally enjoyed our meal at the new Carmine's location. The food was delicious, the wine was fabulous, the service was amazing and I can't wait to go back and try more menu items!
Table side service was very good but the food was cold by the time we received our plates. To do table side service, family style, with a group, the food had to be horror when it came out and there has to be a way to keep the food warm at table side.
I have been to the Carmine’s on Penn but was excited to try to the new location in McGregor Square and it did not disappoint!! The food was as amazing as I remember and our server, Brittany was awesome! She gave spectacular recommendations for wine and food. Highly recommend!!
Really great food and great service! It was a great place to bring our friends from out of state.
Very over priced for decent pasta and salad. Served family style and placed on individual plates be server. I would rather control my own portion size. Told our beer would be complimentary due to slow service but charge appeared on our bill. Very loud inside and probably would have been better to sit outside with views of McGregor Square. Excited to try something new in the neighborhood but will get our Italian fix at better places nearby.
Very warm welcome from the hostesses. Overall great service and food. Large portions, we have leftovers for days!
The staff was excellent, the environment pleasant, unfortunately the food was very average in presentation and taste.
Food and setting were fantastic! Service was great, and it was fun sitting outside watching movie night at MacGregor square!
June was our server. Very polite, respectful, and precise. Food was great.
Waitress was very good, very nice and helpful. Food was very good and plentiful. Good casual dining but a bit too noisy.
Waiter was rude and critical of my choice of wine
Didn’t bring bread after we asked several times
No butter either when asked
Would not go back
Waited 35 minutes for dessert which told him by then no thanks
We had a great server!
Dinner was excellent, but the bread pudding was SO worth the food-coma!
Last minute dinner with family near Coors Field. This worked out great. Dinner was better than anticipated.
Horrible. Rushed us through our time. Horrible wine and the menu was a laminated menu with no description of the entrees. Not a good experience. Would never return.
Went for our anniversary dinner. Very nice place, modern, with amazing art and a great view of McGregor Square plaza. Our server was very informal for the place, mentioning that she’s glad she finally got a table, and was considering going to the bar next door and taking some shots. This was within the first minute of her greeting us. Pear salad was amazing, but the gnocchi and chicken park were very bland.
Rachel was great
Great service by Brittany and other waitstaff. Very loud due to a few large parties but we still had a great time with our small group. Food was excellent as always and thanks for the extra boxing of leftovers for us to take home. First time to this location after over 20 years of going to Penn Street location and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you
Vodka ravioli was delicious. Service was great. Outdoor seating in the plaza was nice
One of Denver’s best Italian restaurant and now we have two.
The atmosphere, food, and service were wonderful! Highly recommend the Ragu Con Funghi - it was incredible! Be prepared to ask lots of questions, as the menu doesn't include descriptions of the items and a lot of the items aren't self-explanatory, so it was a good thing we had a wonderful server :) We will definitely be back.
Decor was beautiful. We don't know who they are marketing to? I wanted a single meal and was told no. My friends were allergic to garlic and the waitress offered only buttered noodles as an alternative. She had a grating voice that was like chalk on a blackboard. We left because there was nothing we could eat mutually. Need to change your business model to survive. Beautiful location. Disappointing, very disappointing.
Great food and great portions as always. The service was terrible.
We had a very nice meal and a delightful server and staff. Thank you. Looking forward to our next visit.
What was nice is they had a sippy cup available for the baby. We wanted to be outside as to not disturb other diners. I was surprised that there was not an awning or umbrella to shield us from the sun. Server seemed apprehensive and while he corrected his mistake before the food came out I was surprised he didn’t know how a couple of dishes are prepared. The ravioli was for two people but only got 8 raviolis which I thought for the price was too few
The food was great! Enjoyed everything we ordered. Look forward to going back.
Carmines was fun and the food pretty good- only complaint is it began to rain, there was little protection in the form of umbrellas, etc. A lot of tables were empty inside and pledged to others who must not have shown.
Corn hole needs to go. Too close to patrons trying to have a relaxing meal. I should have given it 1 star but food was decent and service was very good.
Carmine's is Carmine's no matter which location. Delicious food, great portions and a large selection. Our server was amazing. We went on an off night for the Rockies so, not sure if that location gets louder with more people attending but, it was a really lovely experience.
This is a good spot if you’re looking for pretty mediocre Italian food. Wouldn’t recommend
Wonder food and location. We had a great night.
Love the food. Love family styles menus. Great service.
Super yummy - great location, great drinks!!
Fun location, great food, great service. We will be back.
Service was perfect, thank you!
Excellent staff. Took good care of our party of 12 celebrating my twins’ 21st birthday.
I've been to Carmine's McGregor Sq twice - once in mid-July for a work meeting and last night for a family birthday. Last night's experience was not as good as the first time around. Maybe it was an 'off' night.
Examples: We ordered a side of sausage for the table. It did not arrive with our other family-style entrees. They eventually brought the it, but the sausage was cold inside. We sent it back because by then, we were more than half-way through dinner. We also asked for a few more rolls to have with our entrees. The rolls that arrived were not fully baked inside. The check came with the sausage side still included. Our server removed it, but we shouldn't have had to request it.
Overall, just a mediocre meal.
Tyrone was fantastic!
