From the owners of Il Terrazzo Carmine, one of Seattle"s most iconic and beloved establishments, comes Carmine's Bellevue. Carmine's Bellevue brings to the east side the same level of quality in service, food, and ambiance that has made its sister restaurant a true institution in Downtown Seattle. Located at 88 102nd Avenue in Bellevue's historic Old Bellevue neighborhood, Carmines is nestled against Bellevue Park. With a rustic, timeless interior, Carmine's provides patrons an escape from the increasingly urbanized way of life. Upscale and elegant, Carmine's feels anything but stiff and pretentious. Good for business meetings, special occasions, or simply dining with loved ones, Carmine's Bellevue is a true destination on the east side.

The ambiance, food, wine and staff are all excellent. Great view of the Bellevue Park while dining and on nice days the open air/outdoor seating is very nice.

Carmine's continues to be the class of Bellevue. I go whenever I can as it's my #1 spot to meet people for a drink or to have a great lunch or dinner. You are guaranteed great service, fabulous food and an atmosphere that is upbeat, friendly and sophisticated. Also it's a "who's who" crowd for Bellevue and surrounding areas...and for good reason!

The service was very welcoming and appropriately attentive. We appreciated the anniversary acknowledgment. We had the prawn appetizer which was flavorful and just right for two. They make their own pasta so I asked for spaghetti with olive oil, garlic, basil, and fresh tomatoes and it was perfect! My husband was very happy with his veal with polenta and vegetables. Patio seating was great for talking.

I normally don’t do this and I don’t know where to begin. This has to be hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in the state of Washington and boy have I been to many restaurants. I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his 25th birthday and it was the best place I could have brought him. He was greeted with the cutest hand written note and it was such a great touch. From the moment you walk in you just feel like you’re somewhere in Italy. Everyone was so friendly and you just feel special the second you walk in. The service level exceeded my boyfriend and I’s expectations all thanks to our wonderful server Jennifer G. She made us feel like we were only table periodically checking on us and making sure our water glasses were never more than half empty. To finish the night off they brought us the most spectacular dessert plate wishing my boyfriend a happy birthday. I can’t stop raving about our time at Carmine’s and we will be coming back for a lifetime. Thank you so much for making our time so special!

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 2-year anniversary at Carmine’s. Upon arrival, we found a note on our table that says “Happy Anniversary.” For our appetizer, we had the prosciutto with melon, and the beef tartare. They both tasted great; the sauce for the beef tartare gave balance to the taste. Then, my girlfriend got the dry-aged duck breast, and I got the Osso Buco. Her duck breast was very tender and juicy, and the sauce was tasty! My Osso Buco was also very tender, and the accompanying tagliatelle pasta was firm and delicious. The restaurant then gave a complimentary tiramisu with the writing “Happy Anniversary.” Nice touch by Carmine’s!

Overall, we had a fabulous time at Carmine’s. We would highly recommend Carmine’s if you’re looking to have a great dining experience.

Due to the fact that my wife’s entree was a disaster it is difficult for me to recommend Carmine’s Bellevue. Halibut is difficult to grill correctly but for the price charged the line should have been able to do this well. In contrast my New York was served as requested. Unfortunately we were there for my wife’s birthday as her choice and she is loath to complain so I was not able to comment at the time. As such we will not be returning. As an accomplished gourmand I suggest the restaurant find and retain a line cook who knows halibut and a line coordinator who can guarantee all entrees are correctly presented.

my family had just returned from a camping trip and said, pick the restaurant and we want to take you out since we will both be here so, I chose Carmine's...I love Italian!
I ordered the pasta fagioli and I must say it was a bit bland.
Wished the eggplant parm came with a small pasta option. I did not ask so it was probably my fault.
I believe Jessica was our server...very pretty/ strawberry blonde long hair.
So nice.
I have not been there in about a year and she was our server then.
Must be doing something right and the extra touch for my birthday was splendid.

This was supposed to be a happy occasion. We went early and Bellevue was packed for the Arts Festival on 7/28/18. We used the valet parking (Red Carpet Valet) and my car came back badly damaged with the front fender hanging loose. I know this is not Carmines' fault but it did ruin the whole experience. Red Carpet have failed to reach out to me 3 days later even though I gave them all my details and they took a picture of my Lexus. I have called my insurance agent to act on my behalf and I will have to pay the deductible myself. My husband and friend loved their food but I can't even remember what mine was like. Carmines' must have been seriously overbooked as we were leaving there was a long line of complaining people waiting to be seated. Sorry I can't recommend going to this restaurant on a busy evening even though my husband loved his veal shank and my friend enjoyed her veal with capers.

It was our first time and definitely not last. The place was beautiful and the food was amazing! I have no idea what the dessert was called because it was made by the Chef’s creativity and not found in the menu. We indulged every bite of it!

Carmine’s might be my new favorite place. I’ve never experienced better service at a restaurant. Our waiter, Paolo, really took care of us. He was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. My friends and I concluded he was the best waiter we have ever had and ended up talking to him for upwards of a half an hour. When you walk through the restaurant the staff stop what they are doing and make space for you as you walk by. Adrian is the manager and he came to our table multiple times to check in on us and make sure our evening was as perfect as possible.

The food was also delicious. The filet with gnocchi tasted incredible and I’m more of a rib eye fan myself (they also have a rib eye so I’ll come back and try that soon). I’ve had it twice now and both times it was prepared perfectly. I only order my steaks rare and normally they are over cooked, but this came out perfectly. The veal was also really tasty, all the flavor of veal without any gaminess. Good portion size too. One of my friends has a dairy allergy and was bummed that she couldn’t have the risotto. Carmine’s specially made her a dairy free risotto. Definition of above and beyond. Who does that??? The tiramisu was the best tiramisu I’ve had outside of Italy to date.

I’ve been to Carmine’s three times now in total (all in the last month) and I think it’s my new spot in Bellevue to relax after and long day. I haven’t had a bad experience here so far; it also helps that all my friends are obsessed with this restaurant. My second time coming in they recognized me welcomed me back. The bartender is also really cool and spends a lot of time listening to me and my friends (bless his soul).

If it’s a warm day, the bar has outdoor seating and since Carmine’s is in old town Bellevue it’s nice and relaxed compared to the rest of Bellevue. I’ll be back soon and post more photos!

Carmine’s has a great corner location in Old Bellevue across from a park, resulting in a great outdoor seating area. The homemade pasta was delicious and service was friendly. We drank a lot of water and the waitperson kept my glass full. The food quality is better than other similarly priced Italian restaurants in Bellevue. I would return if in the area.

This was our first time and we had no disappointments. The menu was interesting. The pasta was delightful. The prawn appetizer was better than most. The wait service was extremely helpful. The front desk agreed to move us so we did not sit next to a noisy table of ten without a hiccup. Ambiance is extremely pleasant whether you are out on the patio or inside with the air conditioning! Although it's not cheap, we felt it was well worth it.

The bar area serves a limited menu yet with summer temperatures the way they are in Bellevue that’s still a good thing. Had a perfectly relaxed early dinner out on the patio. Our waitress gave as ample time to decide which was also a good thing because by the time we finished half an excellent pizza and soup it was dinner time. The wine selection, even for by the glass, is very inclusive and of outstanding quality. Each dish we had was perfectly executed, very tasty and served at the ruggt temperature. Overall a wonderful experience that I am looking forward to repeat many times over.
