About Carmine's - Bellevue
From the owners of Il Terrazzo Carmine, one of Seattle"s most iconic and beloved establishments, comes Carmine's Bellevue. Carmine's Bellevue brings to the east side the same level of quality in service, food, and ambiance that has made its sister restaurant a true institution in Downtown Seattle. Located at 88 102nd Avenue in Bellevue's historic Old Bellevue neighborhood, Carmines is nestled against Bellevue Park. With a rustic, timeless interior, Carmine's provides patrons an escape from the increasingly urbanized way of life. Upscale and elegant, Carmine's feels anything but stiff and pretentious. Good for business meetings, special occasions, or simply dining with loved ones, Carmine's Bellevue is a true destination on the east side.

Carmine's - Bellevue Ratings and Reviews
Waitress talked me into ordering the Sea Bass special when I had fully planned on the bolognese which is my favorite. I was tremendously disappointed. It was very fishy & I couldn’t stop regretting my decision. I love Carmine’s but that fish ruined the night for me.
The restaurant is within walking distance of Bellevue Park with a great location. The ambiance is nice but it is a bit noisy. Both our meal portions were adequate and reasonably priced. Our server was very attentive and overall we had good service. I would definitely dine there again.
Carmine's is our absolute favorite. Both my husband and I always have the most delicious dishes. The restaurant is beautiful and very cozy. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, friendly, and the best thing is you are never rushed. I love the Caesar salad, the calamari, bruschetta etc..... I tend to go with a pasta dish and my husband loves the pork chop and pasta.
I can't wait to make another reservation really soon. Thank you Carmine's for coming to Bellevue!!!
We have been big fans of Il Terrazzo Carmine in Pioneer Square and were elated to find that they had opened a location in Bellevue. Carmine's holds up to the original location and we had a wonderful time. The service was excellent and the food was everything you would expect of a fine dining establishment.
Carmine's never disappoints, even on a busy day like Valentine's Day. The food is always fantastic. I have never had such fluffy gnocchi in my life; my husband compared them favorably with the ones his Italian grandmother used to make, which I never thought I would hear (Grandma's gnocchi having grown to epic, unbeatable status over the years). The only thing better than the food here is the service: so professional! These servers do this for a living; not while they're in grad school or waiting to break into film/theatre/etc. A special shout out goes to Paolo, who has served us more than once and is just a treasure.
I have been to the seattle carmines numerous times, but the Bellevue location topped it for comfort and I personally felt the food preparation was superior. Menu prices were from moderate to $$$, but the food quality was worth it. Wine list allows for budget purchase as well as expensive if that is your preference. I would go again and it would not need to be a special occasion.
Had been to the Seattle location many times and this location didn’t disappoint! Has the pork chops and it was fantastic, with a plentiful extra portion to carry home. Wife had a pasta dish that was also great. Service was fabulous and our server was really friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Carmine’s!
A hidden gem in old Bellevue. definitely recommend coming for dinner. the food is impeccable and the servers go above and beyond to make sure your night is one to remember.
I came in for dinner with my friends last week I was very impressed by the hospitality. the host team was very welcoming showed us to the table promptly. the server greeted us right away.
the GM was very knowledgeable with the wine list he helped us pick a wonderful wine to enjoy with our entrée's the noise level is festive. my friends and I are planning our next visit to carmines. if you haven't tried it. your missing out.
I picked Carmines for dinner based on the outstanding reviews on Open Table, as well as many other sights. The food was great, the setting was great, the service - not so much.
My husband and I typically share meals. We usually order an appetizer, salad or soup, main course and then dessert. We share because if we each ordered our own main course we would be too full to also have an appetizer and dessert. Sharing allows us to try more food. This is what we did when we dined at Carmines. However, our waiter seemed to be disgusted by the notion of just ordering one entree. When we explained that we would be sharing our entree, his face visibly changed, as if looking down on us.
Once we finished our entree we ordered dessert. While we were in the middle of eating our panna cotta, he walked by and set out bill on the table. He did not ask us if we wanted anything else, we did not ask for the check, he simply set it on the table and walked away. This made it feel more like dining at Denny's rather than a highly rated restaurant in Bellevue.
While I would love to try more of the items on the menu, I don't know that I will ever be able to get my husband to return.
Carmine’s is the best restaurant in Bellevue. We enjoy sitting and eating in the bar where the service and menu is as fantastic as it is in the restaurant but a little cozier and more social. Being locals we always look forward to seeing people we know and appreciate the convenience of such a highly rated local destination. I love the eggplant parmigiana and my husband, the veal scallopini and extensive wine list. There is parking directly below the restaurant with valet as an option as well.
I could not be more excited (or afraid) that Carmine’s is on the first floor of my new apartment. I enjoyed a wonderful dinner Monday night and can’t wait to go back. The service was highly attentive and friendly. I started with the most perfect warm Italian bread; crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle, a cold, crisp Caesar salad which could not have been any better, followed by the veal scallopini which was tender and perfectly balanced with mashed potatoes. I finished dinner off with a coffee and baileys. Carmine’s is authentic, beautiful inside, topped with impeccable service.
A gem of a restaurant in Downtown Bellevue. The food is consistently cooked to perfection. Carmine would be so proud of the traditions his children and family are carrying on. The wine list is good. The service is attentive. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.
My wife and I had lunch here and the food was great! Our server was just OK, so it wasn’t horrible, but definitely not great for what you would expect. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very cozy. Pablo (I think one of the owners) was very nice and friendly.
