Although a few extra rays of sunshine may have shone down on favored tables, I never saw anybody left out in the cold, not even a sweet and out-of-place young couple dressed as if for church. But if the dining room staff now treats newcomers like long lost friends, it is doing so at a time when there are very few reasons for anyone who isn’t already a regular to visit.
Carmine’s service is virtually unsurpassable
Nice ambiance, but very expensive for the quality of food. Overall, was very disappointed.
Good food, attentive wait staff. Great place for special occasions. Only issue, it can get loud when fully seated.
A proper restaurant that stands alone in its catagory of Italian excellence .Walking through the doors akin to a warm embrace from an old familiar friend.
We loved the entire experience! The food, service and ambiance were superb! We’ve eaten at the Seattle location and are so happy there’s one in Bellevue. Will definitely return.
Kust keeps getting better like a good wine. Best service in town and the veal scallopini is wonderful. Most relaxing dinner out. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
Food was good although one server was clumsy, spilled water and knocker over a on our table. Did not even try to compensate.
The food and the service were excellent. It was on the pricier side, but well worth it.
Carmine Seattle is possibly the best Italian restaurant in Seattle, but Carmine Bellevue just doesn’t work. My fish and pasta both came out cold and not flavorful. The magic is missing.
Great food and great service. We will be back. Our waitress was on her game and never far away but not hovering.
Beautiful location. Fantastic service. Great food. Uncomfortably loud.
I will start by saying we had high expectation before our dinner based on the fact that it is a 3$ restaurant, the reviews and pictures. It was a girls night out and we expected to eat while we chat the night away. We were greeted with friendly staffs and everything started out perfectly.
Things we ordered was bruschetta trio, pesto shrimp fettuccine, and some desserts. Didnt order much and there is a reason, simply because everything we had was just so average I must say we were pretty disappointed with the food. But the one thing that really put us off was the service. We were asked to move table because there was another party coming 1.5 hour after our reservation. We thought that was strange but didnt want to make it a big deal so we moved. But towards the second half of our meal we felt like the waiters were trying to rush us to leave, came too many times to ask if we wanted to order something, one came to clear our table without a word and without asking if we were done, and finally one came to ask if we want a check.
Obviously we were not satisfied with our experience at Carmine’s. Being a 3$ restaurant we expect the food to be better than average, and not a restaurant that only gives you a 1.5 hour time slot.
The best food and service in town.
just an overall amazing experience.. we are lucky to have Carmines and consider it 'our place'...
Incredible experience. Great food, interestingly prepared. Outstanding service. Loved it.
Love Carmine’s. It’s our new go to place for a lovely dinner in Bellevue.
Outstanding. Was a bit noisy. Still one of our favorite places.
We were seated in a very noisy part of the restaurant, with a fussy baby on one side and a loud, inebriated patron on the other. We’ve had more positive experiences in the past but this meal was quite unpleasant over all.
Great food and wines! We felt ourselves back in the south of Europe. Lovely!
Our dinner at Carmine's was fantastic. The menu is larger than expected and while it's missing some quintessential Italian dishes the food was fantastic and Kelen was attentive and set great expectations and answered every question we had.
Excellent food. Our waiter was very good. Only negative would be the level of noise. Would definitely go back again (and again).
Had a w0nderful waiter. Friendly, informative. Gave us our space when needed. Did not rush us. We had a leisurely enjoyable dinner.
My chippino was a little over cooked. I ate some and did not complain. They came up and noticed I had not finished my dinner and offered to make me something else. No muss no fuss. I kindly said I was fine.
Later they came up and took my meal off the tab.
Very gracious. I was impressed.
I had a delicious Cesar salad, we shared calimari, that was equally delicious.
I will return soon.
The food and service was amazing. We will definitely be back.
Just outstanding food and service. Our server made the evening extra fun.
My husband and I have been to Carmines' only once, so I cannot attest to the multiple catagories listed. We have been to Terrazzo Carmine in Seattle which, of course, is also wonderful. We hope to return many times. We had a fabulous time, and the food was exquisite. Multi grazie!
4th visit for dinner. Food was fabulous. Waited 30 minutes before being told they were having trouble locating the wine we ordered. Another 15 minutes before learning it was unavailable. Forgot one drink order completely. Again, food was great but service was not.
Jessica provided outstanding service as my husband and I celebrated his birthday. She was friendly, prompt and courteous while she responded to any request we made. The food was quite good, although my husband enjoyed his spaghetti di finochio quite a bit more than I enjoyed the ortolano. We will definitely return to this restaurant!
The food and service was outstanding, this is one of my favorite restaurants on the Eastside and in Seattle.
I've never been disappointed when dining here.
Went for husband's birthday. Loved the food and the service
The service was great and the food was amazing!
It was so noisy when we sat for dinner at 7:30, with my weak hearing I couldn't hear the person across the table. The restaurant was full. Food was great, service good but not great.
Food was well seasoned, steak cooked perfect med-rare, pasta al dente, server very knowledgeable, food came fast. Totally nailed the velvety consistency of the cauliflower puree. Hackneyed Italian-American staples came to life with house-made and from scratch recipes. Will be back again.
Table not ready when we arrived. Sent us to the bar and then forgot us until we complained a half hour later.
Waiter offered to bring a vegetarian meal, then brought a plate piled high with prosciutto on top of the vegetables - at least 1/2 of the plate. When I mentioned that ham was not vegetarian he's said he knew, but thought I should just pick it off.
Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and delicious food.
Delightful space, solid food across all courses, and attentive service at a reasonable value. Just what we need.
Great food and service. One of the best restaurants in the area.
The antipasta plate is a must. The hostess and the wait staff are all top-notch. The meals are consistently excellent.
Carmine is a good restaurant all around. The food & service were good. We liked the bruschetta but the grilled calamari was OK. My ink squid seafood pasta dish was good as was everyone else's pasta. The Salmon was average.
My favorite restaurant!
It was much too loud. Either sound dampen or reduce number of tables. We love this restaurant and have been many times. Hope to see improvement. Cheers!
