   Took mom here for Mother’s Day. Food was delicious. But portions smaller than in the past and service was poor. Although quite tasty, the chicken marsala portion was smaller than usual. Our server assured us this, along with a big plate of pasta, would be more than enough for 4. But we did not find this to be the case. The flourless chocolate cake was also delicious, but not as big as we hoped for a family sized portion. The bread basket is typically a beautiful assortment of different types of bread, but the basket we were served just had one type of bread. The bread also did not come out until our entrees were served, despite having asked for it. No herbs in the olive oil for dipping, which has been a carmines tradition for years. Our drinks were forgotten on several occasions and coffee was served cold and after we finished dessert. We mentioned the cold coffee and they did not offer to fix the problem. Service was giving “I don’t care” on Mother’s Day. They didn’t seem short staffed and the restaurant wasn’t all that busy.

   Mother’s Day at Carmines AC was perfect! Our server, Jasmine, couldn’t have been better and the food was delicious!

   Always stop here whenever I am in town. Food was good .. as usual .. and service was good. It was a quiet night (Thursday before Mothers Day) so not very crowded and the frozen cozmo is always on point. There was one thing this time that had me a little upset. When we went to get our side plates from the table to have some of the bread .. the bottom plate had left over salad on it from a previous customer. I was upset but didn't let it ruin dinner .. although my finger went into the salad and I am now sitting with salad dressing smell no matter how hard I wash my hands (you know the smell lol) and they were apologetic and brought over new plates asap. My only issue is that no one offered a complimentary drink or a discount for the inconvenience. Hard to fully enjoy your meal with the thought that there was a full used salad plate under your supposedly clean plate. Sighhhhh .. food was still good though so do not let this deter you :-/

   Met niece & her husband for lunch. Service was top notch along with the ragu for four. There was plenty of food for all. Best meatballs in the area.

   Our dinner was delicious and the service was outstanding. Kayla did a great job. She was efficient, friendly and helpful with answers to our menu questions. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to AC!

   It was my husband's birthday. We went out with friends and had a fantastic time. Service was a 10 out of 10. Great night.

   We visit Atlantic City once or twice a year, Carmine's is THE place for dinner when we visit. Meals are always excellent, service impeccable. We had the Stuffed Artichokes for appetizer and the PorterHouse steak with sausage, peppers, onions and potatoes, both were outstanding while the portions were more than our party of four could finish. If you love family style Italian dining, like we do, you'll love Carmine's. We will definitely be dining there in the future.

    Food delicious and plentiful. Had the seafood over pasta. Still had enough leftover for next day dinner. Maria our server, outstanding. Only drawback, drinks aren’t family style, lol
