Carmello's was good, but I don't know if it was worth the price. I had the Scampi Carmello (I think it was called) and it didn't have much flavor, but my husband said his chicken was very good. The ambiance was very nice. It's a formal restaurant.
We loved the quiet romantic feel of the restaurant. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious...presentation was optimal. The attentive service from all the staff, especially Sarai, was excellent. We'll be back soon!
First time going for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely amazing! Hurt our wallet a little bit, but it was totally worth it!
This is the second time I have been to Carmello’s. The first time was on Valentine’s Day two years ago (very busy and full due to a small, intimate dining room) with my girlfriend. This year we went for dinner the day before Valentine’s Day to experience their full menu instead of the specials they usually offer. We were not disappointed. Javier, the server, provided excellent service and was friendly and very helpful going through their menu. The food arrived fresh, warm and beautifully presented. The food was delicious; I highly recommend the Paella. The manager (I assume) was active in the dining room and conversing with guests. Overall, this was another great experience at Carmello’s and we will be back.
This is the second time visiting. The dining room is more modern in layout, but also more crowded and less romantic. While the food was very good, my wife's steak was well overdone. Our first visit was better.
.My wife and I along with long-time friends dined to celebrate my Valentine's Day birthday. All of us thought our food was excellent and look forward to eating there again. I had the paella (which I acquired a taste for while stationed in Spain) because there are very few restaurants that offer it. My wife and I have dined there before several times but not for too long. We hope to be back soon.

I absolutely love this place! It never disappoints. The atmosphere is lively but conducive to quiet intimate conversation. The service is always impeccable and our server, Javier was both attentive and pleasant. He recommended a white wine that was perfect.
The lobster puff pastry appetizer was to die for! I had lobster ravioli as my entree and ate every bite!!! My husband tried something new and ordered slow cooked rib ragu. He loved it!
You absolutely cannot go wrong with Carmelo’s!
As is usual for Carmello's, the food, wine and service were all outstanding.
The food was great. Really, really excellent food and drinks. The paella was amazing.
My only issue was a pretty long wait for our dishes to be cleared after we finished.
Excellent as usual!!
Ambiance was perfect for fine dining. Food was superb. Drinks were excellent and consistent. Service was good but not up to the rest of the experience; waiters not knowledgeable and had to ask about specials after ordering. Will definitely go back. There are a few restaurants in the area that advertise fine dining but none deliver like Carmello's.
Javier did a marvelous job. All 3 of our meals were perfect. It was like having our own private dining room. I know you have been around for 20 plus years but how can you sustain it with so few patrons on a Monday night? I may be letting the cat out of the bag to let others know that it is such a treat to have such a lovely dining experience on a Monday with so few other patrons. Everyone should try dining here on a off night like Monday. Thanks again for such a lovely birthday dinner for my friend.
As always Carmello’s was absolutely wonderful. I have never been disappointed in this place! I always enjoy the entire experience. I highly recommend it
Made 8pm reservation, still had to wait 10+ min for them to seat us. Waited at least 15 min before our server came over. By the time he did, we gave our app and entrée order all at once. As a young couple we def felt overlooked among older couples and families that seemed to be getting more attention. It was almost like they gave our table away and scrambled to put us at a table but no one was assigned to us, so maybe no one knew who had us initially. (I worked in food service before) Food was tasty but for the price, we expected higher service at least, compared to other similar price point restaurants. Don't go if you are hungry or starving, go when you have lots of time. We weren't served entrees/app until after 9pm. This was for NYE.
Carmelo's proved to be a disappointing experience. The food was less than adequate and very, very expensive. The restaurant was dirty, food under our table and on the floor throughout the restaurant. As I walked to the rest room I slipped on a shrimp tail and saw other pieces of food and debris on the floor. The service was slow. We got our appetizer before we got our cocktails. I had to ask three people to fill my water glass. What a huge disappointment. If you want to spend the same amount of money and get a good meal go to Ruth's Chris or Morton's.
