Just lunch with a friend. We often go to Carluccio’s. Enjoy the special lunch menu.
Tasty food, nice staff, overall a really pleasant experience
Totally is what it says on the tin. Great value fayre in a very pleasant setting and really attentive service. The restaurant made a lovely gesture with a birthday dessert. The kids love this restaurant. We’ll be back.
Friendly attentive staff, reassuring adherence to safety regulations, deliciously fresh food and cosy, chilled decor. The vegan brunch is a winner!
Everytging was amazing, the food is delicious!!
We had a great breakfast and enjoyed the quiet attentiveness of the staff. The poached eggs were particularly good
Nice to be eating out with lots of atmosphere again.
It was good and the lady who help our table and arrange staff really good. But after the service not very good.
Safe, great service, lovely food. Highly recommend.
Breakfast for one , which was great .
I had the vegetarian, and thoroughly enjoyed it and would have it again .
I felt very safe. The food was delicious
And The staff were very attentive. It has a good atmosphere and I would recommend Carluccios in Richmond
Well service and good food as usual. Nice kids menu.
Asked for water twice, had to choose food there and then and didn't have much time. Long wait for food just generally not great service
Not fine dining but good enough for a family special occasion
Let’s try and keep this open. Best value in Richmond. Organic Malbec isa steal at £27.
Birthday dinner! 😃
Hadn’t had breakfast there for a while ,but it was was great .
Very good service food , plus a lovely table by the window .
Very pleasant light lunch sitting outside. We appreciated the distance between tables and good service
I had booked a standard table but as the weather was good I asked to move outside. This was easily accommodated and a drink was offered whilst I waited for colleagues.
The service was Both friendly and conscientious
We had brunch outside as it was a lovely day. It IS on the main road in Richmond but the noise was dealable with! Carluccio's seemed very organised from the Covid point of view and we had delicious eggs florentines and coffee. The staff were very friendly and it was a good experience.
Additional measures all in place but not obtrusive & made it possible to have a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Good food & great service
We sat just inside the open door which was great as we were in the fresh air without being in direct sunlight!!
Your forks make eating spaghetti very difficult. Difficult to rotate fork as shaft very thin. Not a joke. Cabonara very good. CB
Nice to go out to for lunch and enjoyed the excellent pasta
Overall the night was great, The food taste amazing, the Focaccia with oil is awesome.
We got a table for 2, and nobody was seated in the next table to us, so in social distancing that is a Thumbs Up.
Our booking was at 9:00 and we arrive 20 minutes earlier, with no problem to be seated immediately.
We got the Eat out to help out discount so the price was better than usual.
The only down side was at the time to order dessert, they didn't have Tiramisu, when the waitress told us this, she added well to be fair the kitchen is already close so it is as a favor if you want to order dessert.
That was really upsetting to me as nobody told us that the kitchen was closing when we ask for the dessert menu. We left without ordering it, IT spoiled a bit the night.
Poor service and very unfriendly staff. Took 40mins for food to arrive. After 25mins of waiting they told me the BEEF RAGÙ PAPPARDELLE pasta dish I wanted was no longer available and I settled for the gnocchi which was ok but nothing I or any half decent cook couldn’t make at home. The SEAFOOD LINGUINE was not a traditional or authentic linguine; they used the wrong type of noodles for one! Only had maybe 3 pieces of prawns, although the mussels were aplenty. It tasted good at least.
Nevertheless, the staff were very unfriendly and the service extremely poor. Nice ambience but would not return.
The chicken risotto was amazing, however the steak that we ordered came completely cold. Disappointing
Very efficient staff would go again nice experience
The night started of well with a delicious starter. Ordered 2 mains, 1 we were very happy with but the 2nd was not what we expected. We ordered the beef ragu pappardelle. We were served a tomato, cheese, olive pasta with a bit of beef. We called one of the servers(we never complain but thought this was worth doing so) and told him our thoughts. He was polite and said he would get a new one made for us. The new one arrives worse than the first one. When we raise our thoughts he gets angry, yelling at us. Saying there’s plenty of beef and we aren’t at an American diner. Firstly there really wasn’t but if that’s how they make that dish he could have just asked if we would like a different dish. Secondly we have both dined in Italy so our expectations aren’t obscene or anything. I have never dealt with such bad customer service from someone, this is supposed to be your manager as well. Our original waiter had amazing service so thank you to him. Great food other than that.
We went when they had the Eat Out To Help Out deal so it was very good value for money, however if it had been the full price it would have been expensive for what it was. Children’s menu Portion size is tiny, so if you have good eaters you might consider the adult portion. The roast rump of lamb was very good actually and so was the steak. The only real disappointment was the tiramisu which was clearly not fresh and had been defrosted - the bottom of the tiramisu was very wet and watery; yuk! Couldn’t be bothered to complain about it as we were getting 50% off and they were extremely busy.
I have always enjoyed Carluccios but disappointed that our first 2 choices of wine were out of stock, which meant that we had no choice but to order a bottle of wine that was more than £10 over our original first and then second choice. I would have thought that as it was a bank holiday any restaurant should have planned ahead especially as every customer had to book a table. Otherwise food was good apart from the disappointment of lack of meat slices in the anti pasta starter. I’ll remember to stick to something else in the future.
Great food and place to dine, excellent service, will definitely be returning
Best Carluccio’s I’ve been too, staff are lovely, food is amazing and overall a lovely time!
The food was fine but the service was confused and despite apologies it did detract from the experience.
Our waiter (unfortunately cannot recall his name) was extremely nice and knowledgable. He provided us with a great service! The food was fantastic as usual! Thank you!
Excellent fast service by charming waiter../Great value for the price
Table was sticky didnt seem clean. Floor covered in bits of food and dirt from previous customers. Part of food was cold (pan sea bass).
Welcoming, speedy, good value and tasty would go again
I go regularly with my autistic son, the staff are exemplary and the atmosphere is always wonderful.
This was such a great meal! The kids absolutely loved their food and I did too. Service was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed it so much that when the bill came and I realised the "Eat out to Help" discount wasn't available that day, as I'd assumed walking in, I didn't care at all. To quote Arnie S: we'll be back!
