Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

We're situated within Gunwharf Quays. Our outdoor terrace offers stunning views of the harbour. Among other things, this makes us the perfect restaurant to relax after exploring the local shops.

We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Sunday. Our menu also caters for vegetarians/vegans and those who are following a gluten free diet.

I was here for my graduation meal and whilst the food was amazing, the service wasn't up to par. I've been here twice before and I had no complaints about the service. Our waitress was rushed and instead of placing our plates down, she just dumped them in a pile on the table. No one was really welcoming or friendly. We were sat close to the waitress station and they had small graduation decorations which they could've put on the table but didn't. As stated before there are no complaints about the food, it really was well done and wonderful as were the drinks, the experience was just let down by the service.

This was our second visit to Carluccio's - Portsmouth. We were placed in the same table as before which was by luck. The restaurant as before was sparse so seating was easy. We had booked a Sunday afternoon visit for a birthday meal with our children. The staff we're great and catered for all we needed, it was another good experience. The only draw back for this time was that there was no effort made for the birthday as asked for via the booking.

Excellent location in the quieter area of Gunwharf Quays overlooking the water. Attentive staff, but not intrusive. Usual high quality offering from the Carluccio's menu.

Just an excellent dining experience at Carluccio's - Portsmouth. Staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Service was excellent and so was the food. We have eaten at Carluccio's - Portsmouth a number of times before and each time, it doesn't disappoint. Would have no trouble in thoroughly recommending it. You won't be disappointed.

Service not great, very rushed. Portions were small and no offer of vegetables with the chicken. Very expensive for what you get considering it's a chain. Unable to use blue light at the same time as another discount. The first time we went they wouldn't accept the blue light card as the staff member didn't know how to put this through on the till.

The staff were very nice indeed but lacked finer detail. Almost had our wine thrown at us as so quickly corked and thumped on to table. No tasting offered. Salsa too chuncky. More like tomato salad

We didn't get the best of seats thus time, but it mattered not. We had a wonderful time and all the food was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyable experience helped by exceptional staff.

We booked for a ‘hen’ lunch and the team could not have been more accommodating, allowing us to decorate the table and not rushing us, despite some of the group being late. Friendly and helpful service and delicious food, thank you
