   Beautiful food, fantastic service, excellent wine. Will return. Beer a little expensive , other than that wonderful visit

   On the whole we had a great meal, great service, lovely staff. Our sharing starter, the charcuterie board, wad amazing. My giardinera pasta was beautiful as usual. However my husband had the ragu which was dreadful. I'd have sent it back, but we were short of time and he didn't want a fuss. It was massively salty which was probably down to the fact that there was no discernable beef in the ragu sauce, but it was was full of olives. 10 of them. We hadnt looked that closely at the description. And our waitress told us we could have asked for a portion without olives. But this also makes us think they were just added from a jar as all you could taste was the olive pickle. Most unusual to have a poor dish here, what a shame.

   Went here with my husband an 3 children. Was lovely, welcoming atmosphere and service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

   I recently dined at Carluccio's and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While I had high hopes based on the menu and some previous reviews, the reality was quite disappointing. First the service was incredibly poor. Upon arrival the staff was very unpleasant and we felt like they were forced to do their job. As for the food, it was simply average. The dishes lacked the flavor and creativity that one would expect from a restaurant aiming to impress. My entrée was decent but nothing to rave about, and the presentation seemed haphazard at best. While nothing was outright bad, it certainly didn’t leave a lasting impression. Overall, Carluccio's has potential, but the service needs significant improvement to match the food quality. I left feeling frustrated and unlikely to return. If you're looking for a pleasant dining experience, you might want to consider other options.

   this is our 3rd visit but first on a Saturday evening and didn’t disappoint - food excellent service very good ! wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definately visit again

   Excellent little Sunday celebration meal, knowledgeable serving staff, made to feel very welcome, enjoyed our food very much.

   Arrived at our table 6:50 for 7 o’clock booking. Had to grab a passing waiter at 7:30 so that we could order as no-one had come to the table. Food arrived at a reasonable time and was very good. Drinks were expensive and limited choice. Only 4 white wines available and only one Sauvignon Blanc- £35.00. The atmosphere was very loud even though the place wasn’t full. There are plenty of restaurants in Chester so won’t be going again.

   Lovely food, did wait a little to be served and a member of our party was waiting a while for food to arrive, however worth the wait as all really tasty.

   As always the food and service was excellent. We always enjoy coming to Carluccio’s when we visit Chester.
