Carlos'n Charlie's - Las Vegas
Chips 'N Salsa
The classic Mexican botana. Just like the Mayans used to eat it
Served sizzling in a traditional skillet with flour or corn tortillas, pico de gallo, guacamole, salsa and sour cream
A heap of chips covered with refried beans, queso dip and a shredded cheese mix. Sour cream, pico de gallo and jalapeños on the side
Food was cold when we FINALLY got it. We were the 2nd table seated for breakfast . Not a good experience
Ordered appetizer 20 minutes before main course, everything came out together and food was cold. Both my husband and i did not enjoyed the food at all
They seemed very understaffed. Server took our drink and food order then took almost 15 minutes to bring the drinks. When food came they totally forgot one entree. Took another 15 minutes to get the missing meal. The manager took a whopping 5 bucks off the tab. At a minimum they should of comped the meal they forgot. Food quality was so so. Doubt I will be back.
Best location and outdoor dining. Loved the hours and overall food/drink options.
Waitress was extremely rude. When we asked to have the check split she responded directly to me saying “wow you’re needy”. Food was decent.
went got MothersDay breakfast with my daughter who has special dietary needs and this was accommodated with no issues. Had a very positive experience
More expensive than typical Mexican restaurants (and no free chips), but the food quality was very good, and server was very good!
A good place to eat! Pretty outside
Ordered chiliquiles and it was more like nachos since it was tortilla chips with sauce on them.
First time here and it was so much fun and energy. Loved the music that was playing that kept the energy up.
We went for my daughter's 21st birthday on Cinco de Mayo and had a great time. Service, atmosphere, and especially the bartenders were great!
Cinco de Mayo
Great find, we loved the food and the staff was very friendly. Only fault was smoke from casino.
It is great to see Las Vegas opening up again. Our negative might be understaffing for the moment. We had reservations made, asked for patio dinning as the weather was nice, but we were sat at a table with a fan pointed directly at us, we hoped for a waitstaff to come by, but after a good 10-15 minutes we just moved to another table. That seemed to throw service even further into a hole. Finally someone approached and asked, "Are you trying to get my attention?" We were just hoping for anyone's attention as we saw other tables being waited on. Another server came by and finally we got things rolling. The Spicy Japapeno Margaritas were a great choice. We had a signature name bowl and a chimichanga. It was a fun Cinco de Mayo, we will certainly go back, but may sit directly at the bar next time.
Service was awful, food was ok...we went on Cinco for a fun atmosphere but it was bland at best.
The food was delicious but the margaritas were not good - we got classic margs but they tasted like coconut
High energy music that was fun in this Mexican Restaurant inside the Flamingo Casino & Hotel. Guacamole made fresh at the Table was Excellent. Our Server was friendly and attentive. The food was authentic and place sits near the Flamingo/Bird’s Sanctuary. Bar available, I had the best “Virgin “ Frozen Strawberry Margarita. It was Cinco De Myo !
Great quick service me
Good music, good drinks , and good food!!!! Good times
Great service. Employees were fast and efficient
Great food and ambiance. Would go back whenever we are in town.
Great food and drinks
Food was delicious and service was very helpful. I would come back next time .I'm town
Great ambiance and the food tastes good, definitely not cheap but it’s Vegas so I wouldn’t expect any different. The service was TERRIBLE rude waitress, no patience, not helpful at all. Barely checked on us and then when she did would be obviously annoyed if we needed anything even something as simple as a water.
Then when she handed us the device to pay and tip she selected the tip for us and handed it to us! Definitely would not have tipped her 20%.
Would normally recommend from visits in the past but not from this experience
The service was very friendly. I was expecting a little more a party atmosphere but it was still a nice place. The food was really good too.
Definitely a go to stop for travelers... great value... and great location’
Fun place. We’ll go again!
We ate outside on the deck for breakfast. Jorge was our server and he did an amazing job. We ordered the chiliquiles and Mexican omelet and both were really delicious. We also
ordered the $5 bellini and mimosa and they were what you would expect for $5. Overall, our meal was delicious and the service was outstanding. Would definitely go back.
Great food! Fast service, good prices love the atmosphere.
Had steak and eggs and the steak was ice cold my eggs were over cooked, had requested over easy and the toast was way to hard.
The service was not great, it just took a very long time for everything. Our server was really nice, just slow. This restaurant is right next to an area that is popular to smoke weed so if that smell offends you, you may not want to eat here. We ordered table side guacamole and it was amazing. We had pork and chicken tacos for dinner and those were awesome too. If I could go back and eat somewhere else I probably would.
Service was good and staff was friendly.
Food is wasn't great. We ordered Queso Dip and chips for our appetizer and the Queso didn't have any taste, the chips were good. We all got Tacos Asada for our entrees and I got a side salad with ranch dressing. The salad and dressing were good. The tacos weren't great. You get 3 small tacos, we ordered ours on flour shells. The shells were the size of a larger nacho chip. The beef was chopped up into very small pieces that were dry. They were topped with what I think was pickled onions and cheese. You get a small side of rice and refried beans. The rice was good, I didn't try the beans.
Omelette was fine, but fried eggs were not warm...
Better than expected. Quesadillas were great , as was their take on chicken parmigiana. The brownie sundae was a rare treat and drinks were good too. No complaints.
I was disappointed with our waiter. He was far to busy flirting with customers than actually taking care of them. Took our drink order and then took a half hour to bring them. We could see the drinks sitting on the counter. Food was decent but we won’t be back.
Great atmosphere good food and good service.
Awesome experience and affordable- love the outdoor
