We went for a anniversary dinner / surprise and the staff were so helpful and friendly
Food was good. Service too. A bit pricey but you are in Vegas. We had the chimichanga.
Very Good food, service a bit slow and impersonal. High noise level but neat decor.
Service was good but the food was horrible! I believe the food was also the reason for me getting sick later that night.
Definitely not a "Breakfast" place as we found out. Looks great for lunch or dinner.
Breakfast was bland and could've picked a better place for breakfast.
Service was good and the place was hopping with "March madness" going on.
The food wasn’t great and it was loud.
Dinner with the family
Great find for breakfast on the strip
Guacamole was top notch!
Was an adequate experience, food was fine, nothing more than you’d get at most Tequila type restaurants, chili’s etc. service was pleasant and the table side Guacamole preparation was great.
Our dinner was good & service was very good & polite. However, went for breakfast the next morning & would not recommend. There was no host to seat you & no sign to seat yourself. Service at the table was still good, but what we ordered for breakfast was not.
We waited for 10 minutes and finally asked the busboy to get our drinks. 5 minutes after that our waitress appeared. We ordered and 30 minutes after that we got our food and it was cold. They were not busy, so I don't see why the service was so crappy. Food not worth the price. We are locals and go out the majority of the time. We will not go back there
Food quality is good but not perfect..
Plates are huge
Food was bland. Cocktails were weak and very salty.
Happy hour drinks are watered down. I received a margarita 2 for the price of 1 and it tasted like the icees I buy for my kids. You could see the shaven ice and then water around it. I could not taste any alcohol so it may have just as well been an Icee. My husband received a warm beer. Who likes warm beer? Even if it is “cheaper”, the value/quality should not decrease.
Enjoyed my chimicanga soooo much. Have been telling people left and right about it.
All in all the experience was great, I just don't believe they even realized I had a reservation
Carlos and Charlies is a good choice for good Tex-Mex on the strip. The drinks are strong, the location is great, and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. The service was indifferent which was a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, I'd recommend Carlos and Chartlie's on your next Vegas junket.
My fish was pretty good. Service was a bit slow but an acceptable experience.
The service was terrible and my mom's dish was awful. She ordered fish tacos & they were frozen fish patties that you get out of a box. They didn't even cut the fish up! My burrito charlie was really good, however. It also took 10 minutes to get our check back even though there was only 3 other parties dining.
My wife and I just finished the 7:30 PM showing of Legends at the Flamingo Wednesday night.
When we purchased the tickets at the box office we were made aware of the dinner and drink
specials at Carlos' n Charlie's. The 9:00 PM 2 for 1 Happy Hour and buy one get one free dinner were a bonus. Our server Carlos (yes his name was Carlos) was exceptional and made our dining experience much more pleasurable. We will definitely be back to see them next year.
Food and service was excellent!! Payton was an awesome server!! Kept asking if everything was good!!
My friend and I eat here every time we visit The Flamingo. They seemed a little off this trip. The food has lost a little of the zing, seemed a kittle bland. Everything else was good.
Primarily Mexican food. Salsa $7.00. Most Entrees $23-26.00.
Good food, expensive and only one Server when we were there.
This place is on the casino floor but it was really a boring experience. Waiter seemed distracted and didn't check back with us after dropping off food. The bar looked like it was shut down even though it was dinner time. Food was fine but nothing exceptional.
Was meeting a friend from out of State before the Donny & Marie show. Great atmosphere and food. Thanks!
We were there early before a lot of the activities started for which they are known for. First time there. Not the best Mexican food but not bad. Asked for spicy guac but a bit bland. Portions were large, ceviche very good. If I go back will go later time
I was with a large party and I think it's just ridiculous that this place can't offer separate tickets for their guest. Who wants to pay for ones entire ticket. We're in the 21st century people, surely you system can fix that problem. Texas does it everywhere.
Food was ok. Server friendly. Decent atmosphere.
Have eaten at a different Carlos n' Charlies and the food was better. This food wasn't bad, just more closer to ok.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Good food. Great service. Outdoor patio was quite comfortable, even though it was very hot outdoors.
We had a large group. We were greeted and served in good time but the restaurant was not very crowded at the time. One persons dinner did not come with the others and had to be cooked afterwards. It was fajitas that cook up quickly so she did not wait too much longer.
We had our wedding at the hotel and celebrated with dinner at Carlos afterwards. The drinks in the outdoor bar area was lots of fun and dinner was great, good service and good value.
Food was good. As is all of Vegas, it was very loud. Service was acceptable, not great. Portions were large so very nice for big waters.
The fried ice cream is a favorite of mine! If you can sit out on the patio, much nicer than the dark and dingy inside seating. The servers have never been the most attentive, but that's my experience every time. If you are not in a rush and the weather is nice, sit outside and relax. The food is okay, but not the best Mexican on the strip.
If you want interactive fun while dining, this is for you. Food was good and plenty of it.
We had a large group and they accommodated us. We used a Living Social coupon (s). Their drinks were amazing as well as their food.
Fun, loud place with good food. My friend and I eat here every trip. Their chips and salsa are excellent.
Arrived at 630 for a quick dinner and a margarita. Their margaritas are all sadly based on sweet and sour mix which kills the taste of the ingredients. But such is life. But then a wave of people showed up and the restaurant was packed. I don't think they were staffed for a big run on a Sunday night. Everything went into slow motion and the noise level got well beyond conversational. The food was okay but pretty bland for our tastes. Charlie's Tacos were okay. The one mole dish my wife had was not a good mole. Our waiter apologized for the slowness and the fact that he all but disappeared. He was nice and we tipped him well. But I would be hard pressed to select this spot for a return dinner. There are just so many other choices.
awesome bartender. my sister and I had a great time, funny and attentive!
